Just had our first cleaning with Two Maids and couldn’t be happier with the service, price, and experience. The house was so clean. We are looking forward to continuing using their services regularly.

I should have listened to the bad reviews of this business. We moved in to our new home and hired them to do a cleaning paid by the hour. First the move in price was very high, the house was in good condition so I opted to pay by the hour for cleaning. These people needed to be micro managed. I thought using a professional company would not require micro managing. During a busy move that is the last thing I needed to do. Upon them "completing" the job, which 4 people taking 2 hours, was terrible. I really think they just dusted some areas and barely touched anything else. When reviewing, I was offered for them to come back to which I declined. I didn't want them anywhere near my house again. I was then blamed for the shoddy work because I was not specific enough on my 3rd fill out sheet to clean.. I figured the first sheet with my requests would have worked but they made me fill out 2 more after my initial sheet (each one requiring more details of what to clean, attached is my first sheet). Being busy with my move, I did not have have time to micro manage each sheet they requested. The policy is 24 hours to bring up any concern, I did not have time to go through all these issues and only reviewed them on their site 6 days later when I actually had time to really see how bad of a job they did. Again, all my concerns were met with excuses. For the price, the cleaning was terrible and you could see they were either in a rush or just simply did not clean at all. (Crumbs at the base of the fridge (NOT UNDER the fridge), a simple vacuum could have got these) evident they did not mop the kitchen per my request). Oven (they tried to put in the fine print after the booking they don't clean the oven... but it is clearly listed in their sheet seems odd..) I saw them "cleaning the oven" and will provide pictures of how it came out. Kitchen Cabinets not touched (specified on all my sheets) crumbs everywhere inside and out. Entry way light fixture cobwebs. We even found a rag in our garbage disposal, this was NOT present during our move in inspection and they were the only people who accessed the house, we did not even have rags the house was empty. The list goes on, I expect more excuses in response for this blaming me for shoddy work. I did not have time to take pictures of every missed items listed but the oven pictures should speak for themselves. The price to value ratio is so terrible, including the micro managing that must be done to maybe get a job done right makes never using them again a no-brainer. We ended up cleaning our house. Slick marketing made me think they could do a good job, if I was not as busy with a cross country move I would have found someone else as the price was very high. I do not want any response from the owner or offers, just do a better job for the extreme price you charge. They were on time is the only good thing I can say..

The requested service was a move out cleaning. The actual cleaning was okay. However; the business end needs some work. There were at least 5 different phone numbers I received texts and calls from, and also several different email messages. It was confusing on which to use, and some communication from me was never responded to nor received because of the different phone #'s used. There should only be 1 # to send/ receive texts and calls from.

Additionally, I was originally quoted $805 for a move-out cleaning only based on the square footage. On the day of the cleaning, a 2nd quote of $1320 was provided, based on the estimated scope of work, which is somewhat understandable but a drastic increase. However, after the cleaning was done, it was asked that I pay $1727 based on the man hours spent.

"Man hours" is an internal logistical challenge, not a customer price adjustment.

If you want to charge us for each man hour, then that should have been the quoted contract.. not based on per square foot. The price increase requested was over 110% from the original quote, although the square footage was not changed, and we declined the 3rd quote provided after the fact.

UPDATE: After paying the increased price of $1350 for the move out cleaning, the house went on the market. Feedback from potential buyers was that the house could use a deep cleaning.... so obviously, the work done was sub-par.

Please note, the house was completely empty, and although I realize there were some things that could use deep cleaning, the 3200 Sq ft. Empty house was not disgusting or anything.... but did need some attention to base boards, empty drawers, and front of cupboards and stuff that happened over 10 years of good use, even with regular weekly cleaning.

Hence why we hired them for a move-out cleaning. If it didn't need any work, we wouldn't have reached out.... absolutely ridiculous!!

2nd UPDATE. The response the owner provided below shows exactly how unprofessional the company is! Horrible customer service and cleaning skills. My recommendation, don't use them!

3rd update: it is also absurd that the owner is saying that I said the cleaners did a good job. I was not even there when they were done. My ex went over to check it out, and even told me it was "ok, but not great". Also, the owner was not "hesitant" to tell me the 3rd quoted price as claimed. She did not offer me an option not to pay that amount, but I said I would not approve that amount, as the prior 2 times it was specifically asked for me to verbally approve the charge to my credit card. I think you should take some business classes as well as some customer service training..... if you didn't want me to pay that 3rd amount, why would you even bring it up to begin with?

Massiel and Diana are the best! Everyone at Two Maids are great. These ladies particularly do a fantastic job and are always a delight to see. Highly recommend them!

The team that cleaned for us did a great job and we were very happy with the service. They were able to get me scheduled quickly and I am hoping to schedule them to do the main part of my house on a regular basis. I highly recommend this service because they did such a great job at my house!

I work from home with a dog, so it’s safe to say my clothing style and decor is dog hair. I was so impressed with 2 maids when I scheduled a deep clean. I felt no matter what I did my floors never looked or felt truly clean. I will definitely be scheduling for regular standard cleanings from now on! All of the ladies I’ve spoken with and met have been so kind, professional, and cost effective. My boyfriend and his allergies are appreciative of the in depth dusting of places we never would even think to touch. And don’t get me started on how great my baseboards look! Thank you soooo much 2 maids!

Great cleaners! As long as you don't mind new cleaners every month or two, they do a good job. And if you have any issues with a cleaning, management makes sure to make it right and get the job done. The responsiveness and friendliness of management is the best part of Two Maids. Overall a good company!

Cynthia and team cleaned 2 properties of ours and did a fantastic job. Very professional, timely and detailed.

I hired them for a deep clean. According to the paperwork I was sent this is a not timed clean, it is an “until it is done” type thing. I keep a very tidy home, and called them because I needed someone to do the extra stuff I don’t have time for example: baseboards, windows, fan blades etc. the deep stuff. I paid 336 dollars for a two bed, 2.5 bath.

To be fair, when I spoke to the woman on the phone I did say 2.5 bath but it was entered in as a 2 bath, and they did decide to do the half bath while honoring original price quote.

When I got home to see…. Not a single window was cleaned. No windowsill was cleaned. Some fan blades were wiped but obviously not cleaned w any type of cleaning solution. There were still dust bars on the edges of some. Soap scum build up was still inside the standing shower, and I don’t mean in corners I mean on the built in shelves that if you used a textured sponge would have come off. Kitchen counters still had dust on the ledges, top of built in microwave was still a dusty ledge. Areas of the floor had not been mopped and we have an all hard floor home.

If I had paid the price for a monthly or maintenance clean I would be okay with THAT price. However, I paid for a deep clean and I had to come home and actually do the work for that. I work in the service industry and take leaving a review very seriously, and if I had a home that was filthy, I would accept the little things. But I had three individual dishes in the sink, all cups. Not washed when it says that a sink load is included. This was lazy, and I feel completely duped. I wrote them when they asked my opinion of the clean, and have heard nothing back. This was my first time ever hiring a cleaning service…. They arrived at 11, and at 1:08 pm I received a text saying they were done. I’m so bummed out because I really wanted to have real help to make sure my home felt ready for those fall and winter months and wanted to keep up w a service.

People were friendly, and nothing against the ladies in my home. I’m not sure if there was a miscommunication somewhere and the ladies cleaning thought it was just a maintenance clean? Either way, I paid good money for a service I don’t feel happened. I will not be hiring them again and I strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you are expecting the things on the list they say will happen.

I just had a first deep clean with Two Maids And A Mop. The two were Muchelle and Natalie, and they were just great! On time, resonator to my needs, professional and very thorough. I will be booking them for twice monthly closing moving forward. I recommend them, so far, and will not hesitate to recommend their services. Thanks to Cynthia for her help! 10 out if 10!

A lot of suspicious weird stuff going on, I wouldn’t trust this lady or this company! I had a watch recently stolen that was worth almost 2,000$. Once I filed the police report this lady Cynthia gave my number to one of the cleaners to harass me until I took my statement back! Save your money & time & go to Fresh Start Cleaners. They cleaned my house spotless within an hour & a half, & it was very affordable! Two Maids & a Mop is like a service where they have all these difference packages with different prices, however the jobs are ALL THE SAME. It doesn’t matter if it’s Touch up, Premium, or Deep Clean, they will provide you the same service as a Touch up. I once ordered a deep clean & saw no difference from before they came. Dog hair still on the ground, trash was not taken out & the beds were not changed even though there was a fresh pair of bedsheets on the dresser. You would expect them to know things like this because they are cleaners, but they are not experienced cleaners & they only care to do the bare minimum. Aside from that they steal from you then harass you so they can continue their evil repetitive patterns. Not to mention I stayed home from work one day to speculate a clean because I already had suspicions they were stealing from me due to the fact that things would just come up missing in my house. I viewed with my own eyes a girl use the same bathroom cleaner she used to clean my dirty toilet on my bathroom sink where I BRUSH my teeth. That was it, the same day I made a ruckus about the filthy things I had just witness my 2,000$ watch comes up missing. I am angry & hurt, because my husband gave it to me for our anniversary, & I would like it back. I would like to use this platform to encourage others to not get scammed, harassed & emotionally abused by this company like I did.
