Very organized and efficient sewer line repair that came in competitively. Kay Gee offered creative alternative solutions to the total replacement offered by other contractors that reduced the bill considerably and avoided excavation in the street.
A complaint I have is that the plumbers knew I was interested in the work, but covered it all up in the basement before I had a chance to see it. This has left me with a nagging concern about the quality that I have no real way of verifying.

After having to call for a total of 3 crews to haphazardly install an AC and replace a furnace, nothing went to plan. They did not schedule the electrician same day and they left us without heat until I complained enough that they sent out someone to the Springs to install the thermostat.

Each crew had a different interpretation of how to do the work and it still isn’t done right. For the amount they charged this is disappointing. They also constantly have their managers out of contact. I would not recommend using this group and think they should lose their referral theough Lowes. I think the Colorado Springs area is too complicated for them to manage. I wish I picked someone else. I only liked the sales guy.

Update: the reputation email requested was sent and never responded to. They sent someone to my house though to sign a completion statement while a 5th visit is required to finish the inspection failures.

The last work was completed in December. The people are generally nice. My frustration is the operation and disorganization. I wish them luck and have signed off after 3 months.

We had many problems with the first two visits from your installer for our new air conditioner; his helper was fine. Three items, first, forgot and left a screw out of the front of the unit inside, resulting in cold air escaping into the room, which resulted in the need to install weather stripping around and on the bottom of the door to prevent the escaped cold air from entering the bathroom and bedroom. Second, installed the outdoor plumbing far away from the house, resulting in the need for a strap to help protect and secure the piping. Third, he was very lazy in attempting to install a Nest thermostat, which we requested. Said the existing wiring was nailed to the inside of the wall and did not try or attempt to try or ask for a different method of installation. We had to inform him that the unit could not be installed in front of the basement windows, as it was after his first installation. He had to have the electrician come out and extend the electrical wiring in order to install the unit per regulations, and told me I would have to pay for the electrician to return and fix his mistake. I hope that I don't get charged for this, or I will have to contact Lowe's. Finally, after phone calls of disapproval of the work, I requested a different installer to come out and finish the first round of work. The second installer sent out was very capable and agreed that the first installation was wrong in the installation and mistakes. He added the screw, strapped the piping in the back, and got the Nest thermostat installed. Five stars for our second installer (I wish I had his name…please look it up) , he deserves a pat on the back), and also five stars for our Comfort Advisor Chris Odiah who had to put up with my phone calls of disappointment0 (it was because of these two people that I did not tell ARS to remove the unit and refund my money). I am not sure if I will call and request any additional future work to be done by your company, time will tell.

Worst experience overall, with one exception.
In February, a technician failed to explain serious safety concerns and rebooted our system while carbon monoxide was entering our home, with no transparency.

The tech visit on Tuesday was the only positive experience. He was honest, thorough, and clearly explained that CO2 was being pumped into our home.

Communication and scheduling were consistently poor. We were not notified of delays, had multiple late arrivals, a two-hour delay on Tuesday, and a missed estimate appointment where the technician claimed no one was home despite us waiting with the door open.

Thankfully the weather is mild, but in colder conditions this lack of urgency and professionalism could have put our family at risk. Overall, very disappointing aside from the tech on Tuesday.

My family and I are so incredibly disappointed in our experience and the end results of our HVAC and AC installation. We wanted fast and reliable installation and service so we thought that’s what we would get with ARS and that is exactly what we did NOT get. The sales man was nice, but either lied or overpromised about next day installation and a system “we wouldn’t hear at all”, so we didn't think we needed to relocate it downstairs. More than a month after the supposed “emergency” installation we finally had an install and the unit inside the house is so loud you can’t stand on the other side of the door and have a conversation. Not to mention the first inspection failed and requires a second. So we are now two months and counting to get this taken care of. We were fully prepared for a high cost but we thought it would be worth it to have it done quickly and done right and now we are left with high cost, a job that isn’t done right, and is still an ongoing inconvenience. We were even told if it’s not done right we would get $500 for the inconvenience and we have not seen a dime of that despite ongoing complaints and communication with them without returned calls. Unless you want the same experience and want to pay for over promising and under performing, I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

12/26 8am called and said my problem (kitchen sink backing up into tub). I was told a technician would be out between 10-2.

2:15 called because no one had arrived and I also had not yet received my text that someone would be here within 30 mins. They told me they were running late and had left me a voicemail (I have been sitting by my phone, it never rang)

2:45 technician arrives and immediately states they do not have the correct equipment and the service was put in incorrectly from dispatch. They called someone and told them they could not do the job. Technician told me someone would call me to reschedule (technician was very nice btw)

3:00 still no call so I call to reschedule. The woman tells me she does not understand my problem so I need to talk to a manger and the manager is just finishing up on a call and will call me back

4:00 no call from manager so I call back. Man tells me it takes 24-48 hours to get a call back from a manager (I never requested to speak to a manager mind you). He says he can schedule me for 12/27. I choose the earliest time frame 8-12.

Next day 12:30- no one has arrived so I call. He tells me he can schedule me that day for 12-4. I ask him why no one came earlier? He told me there was no appointment scheduled. Yet, I have a text saying otherwise. Schedule for 12-4.

1:00 local office calls me and tells me no one can come to me that day. She says she has been trying to call me multiple times but it just rings. “She had to use a different phone to be able to get through to me” which tells me there is something wrong with your phone, I never got a call until this one from the “different phone”. I tell her at this point I am done. I’m left with no choice but to write my first ever bad review and call a different company. She is ok with that so we hang up.

I know all calls are recorded so if you don’t believe anything I am saying you can check

The technician performed an annual "tune-up" today. Finished around 2:30 pm. We noticed around 7:30 pm that the heater hadn't come on. I called ARS and was told another technician would come to check it out same day, no charge and that we would get a call ahead of time. After 2 hours I called again. Received a call back from an overnight dispatcher who told me no one was available. When I asked why no one had called to tell us this, she said this was the first time she had been made aware of our need for a tech.
Extremely poor service for a company that advertises emergency services and an "Exceptional Service Guarantee". A complete lack of communication between customer service and dispatch or just flat out lies.
The result is a below freezing night without our heating system and the promise of the first avail appointment tomorrow.

The one star is for the cleaning technician Matt who was very nice, otherwise, -10 stars for this scam of a company.

As part of real estate transaction we needed to get a sewer line cleaned and rescoped. I called and made the appointment and they were able to come out the same day to do the cleaning. Matt came out as scheduled and did the cleaning but then informed me he didn't have a camera to do the scope. The only thing he found during the cleaning was the tiniest root ( literally the size of a small hairball) or some other very tiny thing in the system. They had to schedule me for another day to have someone with a camera come out. Annoying, but okay.

The first day they did not call ahead of time as promised to let me know they were coming and just arrived at the property. I don't live there so no one could let them in. I had to reschedule for the next day. The two guys that came out might have been nice enough, and even knowledgeable, but they were recommending absolutely absurd repairs. There has never been anything wrong with the sewer system- the buyers had just asked for it to be cleaned as part of preventative maintenance. They were suggesting rerouting part of the entire sewer system, ripping up concrete in the basement, and doing a repair in the street for a very minor belly. Absolutely not with a system that has no history of any problems. I will never recommend them and will certainly not be doing any of their recommended repairs. Honestly the $99 cleaning did nothing, it's just a way for them to get a sales guy in the door.

Run, don't walk, away from this company!
