I reached out to Budget Heating & Cooling to request help for a failing A/C unit during July - Derrick was fast to process my inquiry and found time to stop by just a few hours after requesting service. When on Site, Derrick and John quickly realized the unit was just over used and had frozen up. They got the unit thawed and functioning with no issues and provided a very reasonable charge for the work. My cat monitored the work and kept the guys entertained - Budget Heating and Cooling is also a pet friendly business. would 100% recommend this team for service.

Derick was absolutely amazing! He was prompt, even called and let me know he was going to be early! Was extremely knowledgeable and explained all my options with pricing. Explained how the system worked and what could go wrong. They will be number 1 choice for all HVAC. They even went through and cleaned everything and changed my filter for me. I couldn’t recommend them more.

HUGE Thank You to Budget HVAC. True professionals who are local and experienced. Our AC went out on a Saturday. Called Chris and he had Derrick out solving the problem by Sunday morning. Derrick was extremely knowledgeable and had us fixed up in no time at all. If you need good HVAC service, call these guys instead of one of the big franchises that routes you to a call center. Quick and awesome. Got a phone call back in a few minutes. Had a problem with my furnace while it was freezing inside, winter... Derrick showed up within 30 minutes after the initial call and solved the problem in seconds. So happy to have a warm home back. Thank you guys! Very fast and professional! Less than 2 days after I called Chris, my new condenser was installed, problems were solved. My home is nice and cool again. I highly recommend Budget Heating and Cooling. I had called to see if my leak could be repaired on my AC unit. The tech was very professional and knowledgable. They did not try upselling or anything else. We ended up replacing our 25 year old furnace/AC (RIP). The team was so efficient and wonderful. They were in and out. It was excellent.

Unexpectedly our townhouse renters called to inform us that they " had no heat." This was extremely concerning as a three-day snow storm was just beginning, we were hours away and temperatures were dropping fast. It's then that we discovered our regular furnace company had gone: Out Of Business without notice! We hastily contacted Budget Heating and Cooling for an emergency response to an "unknown" furnace issue.. The Budget & Heating representative I spoke with was very responsive and professional. They had a technician out to the townhouse in 15 Minutes! They diagnosed, and fixed the issue with the furnace, at a reasonable price, with absolutely ZERO issues.
(It seems almost impossible to receive exceptional customers service these days) We are very happy with Budget & Heating's professionalism, fast service and senses of urgency to our issue.

My AC shut off while at work and my dogs weren't doing so well with the way our house is set up. Derrick came over immediately and got it back up and running before I had to go back to my shift. Highly reccomend.

I had an issue with a motor on my furnace. I contacted Chris and he was responsive and came quickly. He repaired the motors. While here, he said i needed a new coil because the current was dirty and rusted. He stated it couldn't be cleaned. He informed me it had to be warmer before replacing it. After a couple of weeks i attempted to contact him to return to replace the coil. We made multiple attempts and he never responded. I had to contact someone else. They came to evaluate it and said he did such a poor job removing it that they could not repair it. Chris basically cut it out with a saw and did not cap any of the lines, not to mention he removed the fencing around my AC unit and threw it on the ground breaking the connectors. I had to contact someone else. This person is able to repair it, but states that Chris did a horrible job there is much more work involved (this guy is a friend of the family and trustworthy). Both people say that the coil should have never been removed and it just should have been cleaned. I am attaching pictures of it after I had cleaned it even though Chris said it couldn't be cleaned. After it being removed incorrectly, it can't be used again and he left the coil saying he would get it when he came back and now that he won't respond, I have to pay for the coil to be disposed of. This all means I still have to pay for a new coil. Also, there are other pieces that appear to have been broken possibly intentionally or because of his poor work that require replacement. He did replace the motors, but it is now costing so much more because of his poor work that it was not worth having him do the work. Avoid this company! The work provided is not worth the problems that come with it.

UPDATE/RESPONSE
This didn't happen months ago, it happened April 16th. We never requested the coil back, because Chris didn't take it. He left it and said he would pick it up when he returned. The coil is still sitting in my yard because I have to take it somewhere and pay for it to be disposed of. We both attempted to contact Chris and he would not respond via text or call after telling us he would return and fix it. I still have the last text I sent to him on April 28th showing it was received and read. We were fine with him returning to fix it but we could not reach him or get a response so we had to find someone to fix our unit. Now this has cost us a lot more that anticipated because of all of the problems caused by him. Based on their response, i'm not sure if they are confused about the customer or if they are just trying to place blame on the customer in an attempt to make themselves look better.

We filed a dispute because we both tried to contact you in April and we didn't get a response. We contacted via text because that's what we had done in the past. Chris reached out for the first time today and called us an idiot and told us good luck getting a refund. We didn't even request half of the money back and the only reason we requested anything was because of the poor work and the amount it cost us because of the mistakes. I am posting picture of the conversation. Says a lot about your "integrity". Why would we ever reach out to you after the poor communication and the way Chris spoke to my husband via text? You apparently have our numbers and have not attempted to reach us until a review was posted.

I have posted pictures of the coil, it is clearly not disintegrating. I will be the first to admit, it was dirty and there was lots of dog hair. Now you say he replaced motors, flame sensor and repaired pressure switch. I was never told any of that, just that the motors were replaced, and I NEVER received a receipt of anything he did.

Any time there is a negative review, you instantly attack the customer and blame them. Both my husband and I attempted to contact you MULTIPLE times over MULTIPLE days, the message was not missed, it was received and read. You keep going on about us not contacting you. You clearly have our numbers as well, since Chris E. called my husband an idiot via text.

My heater went out on the coldest day this month. Chris sent the best guy ever Dave. Dave quickly responded, was friendly and explained everything as he fixed the issue. He was the most honest person ever. They have a forever customer with me. Best prices and most trustworthy company.

Chris and Derek were so patient with us today as we tried to figure out what the heck was going on with our water heater. Derek came out and got us up and running for now and they’re such standup guys - we’ll definitely be using them when we inevitably have to replace our heater. Really appreciate their honestly and communication. Can’t say I’m “looking forward” to replacing our water heater (who is?) but I AM glad I found the right folks!

Their team came out for a full tune up of my AC/furnace/hot water heater and ended up finding a leak in my AC. Replaced the valves and recharged the system, all at a great price and professional/friendly service! It's great to have the peace of mind that a team like this brings having your back as a homeowner. I highly recommend them for everyone!

Chris and Derek were amazing at replacing our furnaces and servicing our ac units. We have our house on the market and live out of state. They were very efficient, thorough and had great communication. Great prices and great service! Does it get better than that? Highly recommend!

This was about the best house service of any type that I've ever had. Called Sat evening when my AC stopped. Spoke with Chris and Derek was there within 30 min to diagnose problem. Then he came back Sun morning and fixed for about 2/3 of the cost they even estimated. Very professional and couldn't be happier.

Best hvac experience! I highly recommend! My a/c went out, I gave them a call and Derrick was at my house in less then 30 minutes on a Saturday. He fixed it the same day! They are very reasonably priced, quick and efficient! If I have any other hvac needs i will definitely be calling them!

Chris and Derek are amazing! Our AC went out unexpectedly and we called another company only to have them try to upsell us a brand new system. (Yes I am aware the system in my condo is old.) Derek not only came out once, but twice. Cleaned our system and told us excatly what was wrong with it. We will be replacing the entire system with them in hopefully the near future. I can’t say enough good things about this company! We have purchased a furnace and an air conditioning unit from them and have worked with them since about 2019! They are professional, prompt, and so helpful! I feel good in all of my purchases with them and they have come out anytime there was any issue (which has usually been my fault for not changing a filter).
