His team showed up on time and worked hard to get it all done in less time than expected. He was also flexible with us while we figured out payment options. Thank you so much! Had an emergency service call Sunday night for my furnace not working. Derek came out with super quick response and was able to quickly diagnose the issue we had. He had us back up and running in no time. Will be calling them for all future HVAC needs forsure!! Great Fast service call em!!!

We are very happy with our furnace install! The crew was prompt, courteous and finished when they predicted. Our furnace in the attic was difficult, but we never heard a negative word. The thorough clean up was so appreciated and the price was very fair. Would highly recommend.

We moved into our new house and the HVAC system was 35 years old. Yeah, 35. I got Chris's contact info from a friend who had hired Chris and had nothing but great things to say. Chris gave me a competitive quote and said he could install everything later that week.

He and his team showed up on time and began the work. They were in and out within 3 hours, and that's with tearing out the old units, installing the new units, running new lines, installing a smart thermostat, and cleaning up. They even modified the duct a bit so that the air would travel more efficiently out of the furnace. Boom.

Can't say enough good things about Chris and the team.

The owner Chris’ son Derrick came out. He simply shut the door to the heating in the utility room and the heat came on! He checked everything out while he was at it and said the system was good. I expected to pay a lot as it was an after hours visit. He didn’t charge me. I had to pick my jaw up off of the floor. I was touched by the kindness and by the excellent service! I cannot recommend this company enough! They are kind, knowledgeable and responsive! I am very grateful!

The owner Chris came promptly this morning to look at my furnace and a/c unit. He was very helpful in educating me on the issue and guided me on understanding my unit better. The communication before getting here was on point and he was very kind, friendly and professional. Definitely recommended to others and I will be reaching out in the future when needed.

Our furnace was short-cycling, and this had happened to us before on our relatively new HVAC system. With the temp dipping down into the teens, our house was getting cold fast even with space heaters. I called on a Friday night around 7pm, searching for anyone to help. They were able to help out that night, within an hour! The repair was what we thought it would typically be, and Derrick was able to fix it efficiently and inexpensively. He saved us from a bitter cold and miserable weekend! We look forward to using them in the future for all of our HVAC needs!

Outstanding ! Chris and Derrick helped this old broke, blind veteran stay warm this winter. It is great thing when you meet good honest folks that arent just trying to get as many dollars out of your pocket as they can. When my old furnace finally gives up the ghost, Budget heating will be the ones that install it. I hated to see Derrick go when he was finished. I enjoyed his company. I cannot recommend Budget Heating and Cooling enough. I called them for a second opinion after receiving a questionable quote elsewhere, and I am so glad I did. Derrick and Chris were able to come out the same day, which was a huge relief. Not only were they professional and honest, but they also managed to fix the issue immediately and saved me a significant amount of money compared to the first quote I got. If you are looking for trustworthy technicians who won't try to upsell you, ask for Derrick and Chris. Thank you both for the amazing service!

It’s been a long time since I’ve dealt with people who are this honest and genuine, especially in the HVAC world. I had a humidifier installed by them and was honestly surprised that there was zero upselling. That alone made me feel like I was dealing with good people who actually care about doing the right thing.

We did hit a few bumps during the install, but they came back within 24 hours and stuck with it until everything was completely sorted out. Chris, Wayne, and Derrick treated me like family the entire time. I’ve already told several people about my experience and can’t stop recommending them.

I'll start this review with a compliment--the work was done correctly and I appreciate Derrick for taking the time to show me exactly what happened to my furnace. I've remodeled 3 homes, but HVAC is not my forté.

The reason I'm giving less than 5 stars is because I asked for a detailed invoice and never received one. I'm including a picture of the invoice I received after asking for it a few days after the work was completed. It does not detail out the parts and labor. I was also told there would be a warranty with the installation, but I have no idea what it is. (I will likely be selling my home within the next year, so some detail and peace of mind for the new owners would be nice.)

Any time I've spent money on service, regardless of how much it costs, a service provider can usually detail their charges. This includes going out to a restaurant or spending money at a car mechanic. The generic receipt I received from Budget leads me to believe they are hiding something so the consumer cannot make an informed decision about pricing. Truth be told, I agreed to the repairs before seeing a detail of the work to be done, but I was at least expecting a receipt to justify the work and the company cannot provide it.

I also had a text conversation with the owner and he agreed to send the detailed receipt, but failed to follow up. I asked again and you can see he read the text, but again failed to follow up. The owner also stated in an e-mail that he has never provided detailed receipts, which leads me to believe I might be the first person to ask for a breakdown of charges since Budget started in 1991.

That was my experience. You may have something different.
