Plumbing reviews in Broomfield, Colorado

Regular apartment handymanwas out so my complex called these guys an They sent out a very young kid who had no idea what he was doing, i tried to explain to him exactly what we needed which was a new faucet handle because it was stripped still took him at least 20 min to fiddle around in there called the complex asking how to turn the water off for some reason, i then had to explain step by step and show him what was the issue before he finally left to go get the part. 30 min later he comes back and changes it in 5 min, without even turning the water off imagine that. Dont want to call him out by name but he definitely needs more training an it shouldn't have taken an hour. It was a 10 min job that if it wasnt an apartment i would have done myself.

replaced a basic heat only thermostat, not a smart thermostat or anything, just a unscrew the old one, attach the existing 4 wires to the new one. I was charged $500. My tenant called them, they weren't even authorized to by homeowner (me) to do the work. I paid, but this should have been a $50 handyman bill, or a one hour bill from a pro.

Called kerwin for a water heater service was fast and decent price. But the one tech Kyle seemed to have a attitude he had a helper with him and I felt bad for the kid. It bothered me how he talked to him and I actually overheard him say "when we get back you're ass is cleaning my truck" not only that but the way he talked to him was very unprofessional and I could tell the poor guy puts up with it alot. Other then that the helper was very professional and courteous even offered to sweep my floor hahaha. But the company in general is great but people like the tech bother me when it comes to showing others respect nobody is above anybody I've been though work harassment in my day so I know how it is.

I wish I had taken the time to read the Google reviews BEFORE I called Kerwin Plumbing. I am sick about the fact that I had to pay so much for such a simple job and parts. I had a hose bib repaired with a repair kit that they charged $41 for (Home Depot and Lowes have them for $13). Furthermore, the job took 30 minutes and they charged $275. I will NEVER call them again!!!

Their prices are outrageous. $215 an hour for a plumber and an unskilled helper... Half a days work cost $1100... just in labor, not including materials.
A good plumber isn't cheap, and there is overhead, and insurance, and office workers. But $150 an hour should be plenty to cover your labor and your overhead.
$215 an hour is just gouging. My usual plumber was booked up for the next month, and I had a tile guy come available, so I had to just bite the bullet and find someone local to make it ready.
But, looking at my bill now, I sort of wish I just waited it out. -
I rent so I have to deal with a Property Mgt company that has to get approval from the owner. Our tankless water heater went out and Kerwin was called to the rescue! The plumber was Ivan and this man knows his stuff. He knew exactly what to do. Unfortunately, they had to order a part which took a few days (not their fault), but the minute it came in, Ivan was here and fixed it in no time! The office person, Sheree, (forgive me if I spelled that wrong) was very helpful and very courteous every time I called. I recommend this company. They did everything they could to get our problem taken care of quickly. Truly a blessing for us! Thanks Kerwin!

They did a great job. Really nice people. The plumber was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were doing a kitchen remodel, and they did all hook ups as well installing a valve to regulate the water pressure.
They showed up on time, gave me a written estimate, and did the work as promised and on time. Excellent job and I would use them again. -
Kam and Muhammad did a great job. Courteous, friendly and timely! Price was exactly as quoted and new comfort height toilets work and look great! I highly recommend Kerwin Plumbing and Heating for any of your residential needs!!

I've worked with many plumbing companies while working in Property Management and Kerwin has always been the most professional and responsive in the Denver area. I always suggest Kerwin as they are professional and you don't have to worry about what a technician may say or their appearance at a property. Kerwin Plumbing has always understood a sense of urgency and the in office team has always been super flexible as things change. I look forward to working with the team in the future.

I paid $200 5 weeks ago to have my sink unclogged and today its clogged again. I called to ask if they guarantee their work she said only up too 30 days I understand this policy but since I'm 10 days past I felt they could have worked with me or at least gave a discount. In the past when my sink has been unclogged I go 2-3 years with out problems. She just said sorry have a good day. Wont go with this company again!

We had misfortune of experiencing our first frozen, broken pipe. The receptionist was incredibly sweet and had great advice for us to avoid more damage till someone was able to get out to us. The plumber himself was quick, efficient and had great advice to avoid the mishap in the future. The price was reasonable. I would use Kerwin Plumbing again. I appreciate a company that values their customers!

We contacted Kerwin to have them replace all the pipes under our mobile home. After getting a quote and having the work start we noticed that they didn’t always have the parts needed so we would run to Home Depot to get what was needed to keep the job moving forward. They switched the hot and cold in the shower and had to return to fix it. When they did they must not have checked there work because we ended up with a leak in the wall behind the shower. We discovered it because the rug in our bathroom was wet and water was leaking from under our laminate floor. When brought to there attention they refused to cover drying out the flooring and having it replaced. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Need a top-of-your-list go-to plumber? Kerwin is it, not all those wanna-be's that have to start their company name with "A" or "AAA" just to get attention. Kerwin earns it. We have called upon them many times over the past 20 years for needs around our home. Great responsiveness, professionalism, workmanship and consistency. No, I wasn't paid to say this. In fact, we just paid them a chunk for a recent hot water heater replacement, but definitely worth the value.

We have called Kerwin Plumbing over the years for our plumbing issues and they have always been prompt and reasonably priced. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. We called them for a non-emergency plumbing issue this week. We had a leaking valve on the water line to a toilet. The gentleman who came out several days after our call was very polite and efficient. He was here for approximately 30 minutes. He not only replaced the valve, he also replaced the flapper on the inside of the tank. The charge for approximately 30 minutes of work? $275!!!!! This is outrageous. The gentleman gave us a "senior discount" and we actually paid $261.25, and that is STILL outrageous! We will not be calling them again, and I am telling all the people I have referred to Kerwin over the years about their current rates.

Kerwin is a fantastic company. From the team in the office to the team of technicians each one is friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. They are prompt with scheduling and completing the work. They are a pleasure to work with!

We have used Kerwin about once a year to clear out tree roots that grow into our main sewer line but they have recently come in to replace a faucet and one emergency pipe repair. They are always incredibly reliable and responsive! Their technicians over the years have all been very professional and friendly. The consistent results and service they have given us over the 9 years we have lived in our house has given us a lot of peace of mind and we don't even think of calling other plumbers now, we know Kerwin is going to be the best!

Immediate help was given, the technician, JP, was punctual, professional and while fixing my water heater also gave advice as to ways to maintain it. He took time to educate me on my unit. I would use Kerwin again as their staff is well trained. Thankyou for fixing a problem so quickly. JP deserves a raise

We have used Kerwin for 10-15 years on rental properties and our own home. The are highly trustworthy, so much that our tenants are instructed to call them anytime they have a problem with plumbing. We have never been disappointed. They are always prompt and their pricing is very fair and they never do more than necessary. Recently, I hired them to consult on a large remodel project as we needed a neutral 3rd party to advise on pipe replacement. Knowing we could count on Kerwin to give us an honest, expert opinion it was $95 well spent and saved us over $6K. I would recommend them for any plumbing job you may have, knowing that they will charge a fair price and give you excellent service.

We own a 44 yr old home that needs some loving care. This year the plumbing needs work before we can sell our home. Previous experience with local plumbers has been “expensive’”, to say the least fraught with worry with “how much” for this project? Recently we got a recommendation for Kerwin from our Real Estate agent. This latest call was for leaking pipes from our laundry room, hence no laundry. These folks were/are prompt, professional and very skilled. And we’ve had good service for all three calls this year as the quality of service is consistent for all of our projects. And these folks don’t work off of commissions- and your cost reflects that difference - very economical. Very pleased with their service

Just had Kerwin plumbing out here today to diagnose and repair a bad faucet. Wes and Kelly took the time to explain the repair, what they were going to do before the repair, during, and even afterwards explaining what had been done and aftercare instructions as well as the importance of the repairs and were both very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Kerwin staff.
