I rarely post reviews, and only do so when we’ve had a good experience. Ben said that reviews are the primary way he grows his business, and I left a five star review the day after he and his crew performed the work. However our experiences since that date led me to remove that original review, and now, seven weeks later, I’m updating my review.

We have a small yard, and to us, our job seemed quite simple, mostly labor. Our agreement with him provided he would move smaller rocks to another part of the yard; install new gray rock where needed; remove metal edging; remove a few plants; transplant a few others; and install a few new ones. The agreement also provided that he would determine which plants currently have drip irrigation, and for any new plantings, ensure that all have a drip line. We also wanted to make sure that drips were plugged for four plants removed and not replaced.

The day after the initial installation, we noticed three leaks/sprays in the lines. We contacted Ben, and he and his crew came out the next day and fixed the leaks. Interestingly, Ben’s foreman told him he tested the lines after the initial work had been done, but we know he didn’t.

So we thought all would be ok, problems fixed.

In late June however, we noticed that two knock out rose bushes were dying and we also noticed that four drip lines that should have been capped off continued to irrigate nothing. We contacted Ben again, and he and his crew returned for the second time. He told us the roses were likely in shock, and they fixed the other issues. The roses have a one year warranty, and he told us to contact him if they died and lost all their leaves.

Last week, we decided to pull up the dead rose bushes and replace them at our own expense. After we pulled up the roses, we discovered that neither plant had a drip line. No wonder they died. We simply don’t understand how two rose bushes could have been planted, and Levi or Ben NOT notice that both lacked a drip line. Also, two (of the four) drips that were supposedly capped off on their second return visit were leaking/spraying.

Yesterday, I emailed Ben and explained all of this, as well as our continuing disappointment. He replied and provided several excuses and explanations, and offered to return to fix these issues. We discarded the plants, and so he could not provide them to his supplier for a warranty replacement. Since there was no irrigation there, we simply spread three bags of mulch. We will pay someone else to take care of the irrigation leaks that he should have fixed, and so we declined his request to return for the third time.

Based on our experience, we could not recommend Ben’s company to anyone.

Showed up early for a sprinkler blow out and had it done in a few minutes. Great price, easy to book, and super friendly. Will definitely use them for any landscaping projects in the future.

These guys are amazing!! They were able to take care of many things including removal of two giant dead trees from my property. I needed this work done fairly quickly and they were able to work with my schedule. Not only were they super efficient and professional, the price was very reasonable. It’s nice to support a local independently owned business and I will continue to use them for my landscaping and yard maintenance. If I had more than two thumbs, I’d put them all up for Colorado’s Greenest Thumb!!

After an awful experience with another landscaping company that left my property in shambled, Colorado's Greenest Thumb was able to help get things back in order. They re-did all my edging, started consistently mowing my lawn, re-buried all my drip lines and made sure they were set up correctly, angled all my sprinklers to hit the lawn/plants properly, planted two flower beds in my backyard, and helped do general clean up/weeding. They came immediately when I called to at least get things looking presentable, and then knocked out the various projects over time as they came back week over week. Super easy to talk to, schedule, and work with. Also just seem genuinely nice. My property is well on it's way to being beautiful again, and can't wait to see over the next few seasons of growth how it looks :)

Great landscapers! They came out and installed a very long trench and french drain for us to help with water making it into a window well during rainstorms. Reasonably priced, professional, on time, tidy, and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.

Ben was incredible fast at getting us scheduled for a free estimate. He was flexible with our crazy work schedules and showed up on time. He worked with our budget (very big budget job, this was for a new house).
Ben got the proposal over to us very promptly and we requested a few changes. He made the changes very quickly.
