Kolvey with HVAC and Chase our Plummer rock and are the best skillful amazing technicians we have ever had and loved them so much will always ask for them personally! And even signed up for the Home Care Club year round maintenance! And we think they deserve a raise for how awesome they are!

We've used 1st Choice many times over the past few years and have been pleased. This time the installation went fine with our water heating but the technician scratched our wood floors during the process. I'd like a call from management to discuss this issue.

Plumbing company okay the guy was pretty cool and helped me but he sent Deepwater to clean up my mold... which the gentlemen that came were very helpful but their receptionist is rude and fiesty I believe works at home cause heard crying so pre occupied and wouldnt let me finish a damn sentence without interruption has now made everything worse luckily the manager stepped in and set it straight. So overall leaving this cause couldn't find their (deepwater) denver location and I think choice plumbing should look into credible referal companies.

Had a water-line shutoff valve replaced. Service was excellent but they charged $250.00 for a job that took the installer 15 minutes. Will not be calling them again.

Water Valve replacement. Technician reported that my house water pressure was too high at 100psi and needed to be at 70psi. Recommended that two other valves needed to be replaced and would send an estimate for the job. Aurora Water stated that the pressure for my house should be at 100psi......it appears that a scam was in the making. Looks like another plumbing company is in order and "Next Door" needs to be notified of this misrepresentation !

They got me this time, but never again. I was pleased with a previous phone interaction, so asked them to come quote a replacement for a corroded supply line and coupling coming from my water heater. Instead of answering my question for repair, they immediately said I should spend $5k - $7k to replace a perfectly functional hot water heater just because of the age. I ignored that part and agreed to let them replace the corroded pieces. When they started taking things apart they said it wasn't possible to disconnect and reuse the anode rod. That's fair, probably time to replace it anyway. They tacked on an additional $289 to replace a $40 part when they were already at my house and had done 90% of the anode rod work for the other repairs.

They didn't even integrate the initial repair with my PEX the way that would have made the most sense because someone "stole the PEX tool a while ago".

Hoping the way it was done is sufficient and won't cause any issues down the road.

Will never call again and will recommended that anyone else looking for this type of work to avoid.

Did not clean drain, advised we needed inside sewer pipe replaced at $17k estimate. I called another plumber and drain cleaned, issue gone for less than $200. My inside pipes are cast iron, when I purchased the home 7 years ago I had plumbing inspected and told it would last my lifetime so the information from 1st Choice was contradicting.

I am not the type of person to write bad reviews but we have been severely disappointed with 1st choice and the poor service. We reached out to have a new HVAC system installed in the home we purchased in June. We understood there would be set backs because this is an older home and needed all of the duct work. However, the manager that contacted us and inspected the home told us that this job could be done in 3-4 days no problem. He also told us that the boiler system and base boards could be removed per our request. This job ended up taking them over 2 weeks in the heat of July and is STILL not complete in December. During the duration of the first two weeks of installation, people were not showing up on time, one of the contractors was fired on our property DURING the job time, the work hours went much longer than we were told each day. One of the nights we were told by the manager that air was running so we could bring our little boys back to the house that evening to stay (we had to stay several nights at family’s house), we get to the house and they are still working and NO air is running. It was already late so we tried to stay but my older son ended up getting heat sickness and threw up that night. We ended up leaving again until it was finished. Each day we were told it would definitely be done, and each day it definitely was not. When the AC unit was finally running we were able to come back but they had left huge holes in our walls from install (we had to pay extra for their drywall guy to come and patch), shrapnel metal was left all over my son’s carpet, miscellaneous tools and parts were left throughout our home, the AC unit that had to be installed in my sons closet was PLUGGED INTO HIS WALL—not even hardwired (we are still waiting for someone to come fix this!) and can be turned on and off with his light switch! Months later we have tried contacting them SEVERAL times to get things finished and installed properly. They said they scheduled an electrician to come out today at 10 am and NO ONE showed up. Tried to get answers and they said they can’t even get in touch with their own electrician? On top of all of this, our heat is now not working on our lower level due to poor installation and we have no answers or communication. A guy came out to look at it and said he “reset” something and it just went back to malfunctioning twice. Again, we have two little boys and it’s freezing outside. In the middle of this, we called the city to find out that 1st choice had not even pulled a permit for this work to be done. We are not high maintenance people and truly support small businesses and want to work things out as simply and quietly as we can. But at this point we are considering legal action because nothing is being done. This was a ton of money for us for the worst contractor job I have ever witnessed.
