They were incredible. We had our power go out and Annie came and made our house a priority. Very professional company!

Currently its 7:51 pm and my family of 6 as well as an entire townhouse complex and there families have been w/o electricity since 8am this morning.
I got a knock on the door and I it was a tech telling me that he would be turning off electricity for 2 hours and we are now rolling into the 12th hour. We asked how much longer and everyone gives us the Same answer which is I don't know!
I have never in my life experienced anything like this, I hope its not because we live in townhomes instead of single family homes either way this is not right
We cant cook food or properly care for the little ones who doesn't understand what the hold up is. There's no alternative its simply 14-16 different families sitting outside worried and stressed out about possibly spending the night w/o electricity. I have a weeks worth iv medications in the fridge that's probably gonna go bad. I can't afford to replace it myself and insurance wont replace it so if it did go bad I'll be spending a week in the hospital getting these medications. Hope this service is worth it,especially since its one unit being worked on and the unit is empty.

The entire staff is great to work with! From the regular communication with the office staff to the availability of the owner to answer questions to the professional appearance and great work of the crew! The entire process is always uncomplicated from start to finish and the professionalism is consistent among all of the staff.

FAILED INSPECTION, THEN BILLED FOR RE-DO!
Electrical work failed regional inspection because it did not meet code. The electrician failed to use a GFCI breaker in a bathroom circuit. The inspector said it was an electrical shock hazard (his exact words). Instead of making it right, Rocky Mountain Electric billed me for a complete new breaker, labor and another trip charge. I finally got the permit closed but I sure regret doing business with Rocky Mountain Electric and will never use them again.

The individual who showed up was in a miserable mood. Would not acknowledge my spouse when he was spoken to. When answering one spouse, the answer was " i dont know" Unapproachable, looking like he had been in a fist fight prior to service. Extremely short and rude. Please do better.

Had an appointment for an estimate for a panel upgrade on a home I'm buying. I have a limited time frame to get this completed and they canceled my appointment 30 mins before they we're supposed to be there. So now everything is booked out and I have no way to complete this by my deadline.

In the recent storm they came and assessed the damage then worked into the night to fix everything. It was fixed less than 12 hours after calling. And we had a lot to replace and fix and they had to coordinate with the power company.

Gave me a realistic quote over the phone, and stuck by it. Mark came by on the very same day. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, explained what I needed to know, and did a very thorough job. Completely satisfied, will be a repeat customer!

Best in the springs! I'm a general contractor from Tx and do a lot of work in Colorado Springs. I started working with Rocky Mountain in 2015 and they have ALWAYS been reliable, professional and affordable. i would highly recommend them to anyone in search of an electrician.

i own a store, and one morning i started to smell something burning and smoke was in the rafters. i searched all over to find anything that would be causing that smell. i called rocky mountain electric. the technician showed up very quickly and prepared. we both searched around the place, getting on hands and knees smelling outlets to find something wrong. i have to say i have never been so impressed with someones sniffer! we found the problem and fixed it up in no time. he was patient and understanding of my issue. i cant thank him enough for all his help.

I needed 4 older light fixtures ordered and stored for my business. Jason was referred to me and he did not disappoint. He was courteous and polite. I have since referred him to two other friends.

I tryed them for a 2nd time even though I felt overcharged for the first job. I called for my business to have 2 out door parking lights installed and to have 7 existing plug outlet's tighted up. When the electrician came out in a bucket truck he said he thought he was just replacing light bulbs outside. He wasn't prepared to install the outdoor lights. He was very snotty and short, but since he was already here I asked if he could at least do the outlets. I was charged $480.00 to have 7 outlets fixed. He even reused the fixtures that were there. Not good business!

Jason came over himself and gave a great quote (comparable to what my electrician friend offered to do it for me under the table). I was worried because I didn't receive anything on paper but his electrician came over and did the work. One mistake was made and the electrician came over and replaced the part with what I really needed promptly. Jason stuck by the initial quote there were no surprises. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Jason Kelly the Owner, reviewed the project and wrote an estimate. My specific request to Jason was for a Journeyman or Master electrician . He confirmed a Journeyman would be sent out for the project. Upon making the appointment with Kirstin , I requested again that a Journeyman or better handle the project . She confirmed it would be a Journeyman.

Prior to the day scheduled for the project I confirmed the appointment time and verified that a Jouneyman is scheduled to be sent. Kirstin confirmed the time and the level of experience - its a Journeyman- she confirmed.

The man sent was an apprentice with high voltage experience only. He was NOT accompanied by a Journeyman , not supervised and indicated his apprentice license was only high voltage. There's liability issues here!

I called Kirstin and advised her to either send out a Journeyman today or recall their apprentice. So they recalled the apprentice - offered to reschedule for a journeyman later in the week however my trust in this company no longer exists so I declined.

What I experienced was dishonesty and a bait and switch! I will never use Rocky Mountain Electric. And Jason Kelly owes me an apology.

Got quote to have our newly built shed hooked up to the panel. The quote came back at $897 to complete the connection for wires that were already pulled to the general area of the panel. When I clarified the quote with Rocky Mountain Electric, I was told that it would take a "master electrician and apprentice about 1/2 day to finish the project." This quote seemed extremely high so, I called my father who is a retired electrician for advise. Long story short, I ended up flying my dad out to do the work. It took him 2 hrs with me helping him to complete the work including adding a new arc fault breaker and only cost me $200 for his ticket and supplies. I would not recommend Rocky Mountain Electric as they are very overpriced for their work.

Rocky Mountain Electric is an excellent company all-around. From their electrician's work ethic and integrity, to the office staff's superb customer service and attention to detail, to the owners who truly care about their customers and their employees. I highly recommend this team.

We have been using RME for about 10 years now , they are my go to company. Always there when we need them . The electricians are top notch, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They always call to confirm the appt. and they always follow up when completed asking if there is anything else they could do . The office staff , Kelly and Kirsten are awesome.. and the Owner Jason Kelly, always able to assist whenever its needed.

I was shocked by this company! They had reviews, came right away to help with a plug that started burning and seemed like good people. I tried to pay the electrician before he left and I was told I would receive a bill from the company. Evidently I never received a bill and went on with my life. No calls from the company either. Today I received a notice of a lien on my house. WOW! Wouldn't a follow up call to make sure I had even received the bill been more professional. As a business owner myself, who has given them business, I would have called my clients to see what was the problem. I will NEVER recommend a company that resorts to filing a lien instead of sending a bill or making a call.

11/28/18. Update...6 months after I told the owner I was posting this review, after he tried to charge me less if I removed this post, he then writes untruths about me on this site. Much like the bill that his company sent to the wrong address, never called me about a late bill, never sent a bill to my home address where you did Repair work, Rocky Mountain Electric decides 6 months later to take uncalled for action. Instead I received a lien letter to the correct address (not the one they claimed they were sending the bill to) in which I called promptly, paid and was accused by your office staff. Yes, as a busy Real Estate agent who sees too many companies with bad practices, I believe people should be made aware so they can make an informed decision on who they want to do business with. I just feel sorry for you that you have to lie and say I screamed. But then again you have never owned up to making a mistake even though you admitted you sent the bill to an address I never gave you instead of my home address where you did the work. It’s amazing how good your memory is a year after the situation but how poor it was immediately after the repair that you can not remember where to send the bill or where you did the work. Hmmm....

After removing and trying to install a new ceiling fan on a 17ish ft ceiling, we were having issues. I called RME on a Monday morning and they had someone super knowledgeable to fix the situation at my home within hours. He got the new fan all set up in about an hour. Our technician was very polite, efficient and friendly. Wouldn't think to call anyone else other than Rocky Mountain Electric.

I recently had a fire in my home in Monument and there was a lot of electrical damage. Mark, from Rocky Mountain Electric, came out immediately. I was very impressed with his knowledge and how quickly he worked. He was extremely detailed in his work and empathetic towards my situation. He worked well with all the other contractors and was extremely professional. I was very stressed out and he was so kind to me. My home had very old wiring and was not an easy mess to untangle but I am very pleased with Rocky Mountain Electric, especially Mark, for his professionalism, honesty, and dedication to seeing this job completed. I am a Realtor by profession and work with a lot of different contractors and Mark is, by far, the best electrician I have ever worked with. Thank you Rocky Mountain Electric, and especially Mark, for helping me through the fire!!! With sincere appreciation, Maegen Merian
