I had the pleasure of meeting Bear Jamison, one of Spectrum Electrics "Field Service Managers". Bear was courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable about my generator. No corners cut here! Spectrum is my "go to" company for any electrical service.

They installed the generator earlier in their schedule than they predicted, which is probably more just good luck and a cancellation.
More importantly, they did an amazing, efficient, and professional job. The generator sits under a raised deck, and on a bed of rock. The rock was moved to accommodate the generator, then replaced so well that it doesn't look like the rock was ever moved. The ground was warmed for several days before the installation so that the underground connections could be dug and easily made. The wiring in the original breaker box on the wall inside the garage was cleaned up and organized so that the crew knew that all the necessary connections were clearly made.
The county inspector said that Spectrum usually does an amazing and complete job, and this one was no different.
Use this company! You will not be disappointed! BTW, this is a whole-house Generac backup generator.

Spectrum Electric installed a new service box as ours had zero room for adding anything. Then they installed a generac back up generator. When the city inspector came he said Spectrum is the best and always does a perfect job. Everything has worked great- great company.

We've had a whole house generator since we moved to the mountains 8 years ago. The generator always comes on when the power goes out and we live stress free from fear of power outages.

We just had a new water heater installed, and in the process, they must have let some air into the gas line and when the power went out this week the generator did not start. We called Spectrum and told them we lost our key (they could have walked us through starting it if we hadn't lost it) but within 15 minutes, someone showed up and started it and gave us a new key.

The guys who do the yearly maintenance and always efficient.

During this intentional electrical shutdown, my generator stopped working when the power came back on. Ryan came out, the end of his busy day, and it turned out that it just needed to be reset (unlike my previous company that serviced my generator, stating it was a bigger issue, without even coming out to see what was really wrong). Thank you, Ryan and Spectrum Electric, you now have a new customer!

Annual Generac service on 10/29/2025.
Technician work flow was very coordinated and explained all procedures he performed. Gave thourough instructions on monthly checks I should perform to eliminate possible future problems. Great and friendly service. I would suggest to give this technician a raise. Gotta keep good and knowledgeable employees. That's my personal comment.

Spectrum did a great job. They are scheduled way out (because they are popular) but fit me in sooner due to a critical need. They are good at diagnostics.

Bobby Aguon saved the day for us during the extended power outage when our generator shut itself off. He came out to the house within 1 to 2 hours of my call and he fixed the generator for us! He was very polite and quite funny :). I would highly recommend Bobby and Spectrum Electric!

How rare the service and accessibility of any provider these days AND Spectrum has been there with prompt, competent Generac service since we had our standby installed now almost 15 years ago. Major wind storm on the Front Range Colorado and all the emergency techs were out.

How many great things can you say about a company that answers its phone at 7 pm at night when there is a power outage affecting more than 100,000 homes and businesses in the area? Very, very impressive! They not only took my call. But stepped me through how to get everything running again and stayed on the line while I completed the tasks. FIVE stars doesn’t do justice to the level of service I received, I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

Oh my goodness Kristen and Jody are amazing ladies! I can’t say I have ever had any nicer office people before. They know what they are doing! Thank you ladies! The crew that came out and did the ground breaking were amazing. Did a great job! Dylan and Javier were very good at what they do. Listened to my concerns and rectified them fast. Thank you….. Ryan and Michael that came out to turn the generator on and give me instructions were so kind to me. I was having a rough day. The whole experience with Spectrum electric was amazing. When I started this project I was told installation probably would not be till late February or March. Well it was installed way early. It was actually done in mid January! Great Job to all!
