So confused. Is this a scam? I called and talked to a lady. I explained that we needed a rug cleaned and that we already had it on our pick up so we preferred to drop it off for cleaning instead of them coming here. She said no problem just drop it off during our business hours. We got to address that good maps showed us and it was somebody’s house. I called and talked to a different person and asked if this was the correct address. They told me yes and to ring the bell and drop it off there. We rang and a lady came out of the house very confused about us looking for a rug cleaning company. I called again to ask for the address. The person wouldn’t give me the address. I had to give my number and name for someone to call me so I can drop it off. 2 hours later and nobody had called. What a waste of time and gas.

My husband and I booked services for our new home but have been waiting over two weeks just to get a quote. When I called to follow up the next week, they put an urgent note on my request. Over a week later, still nothing. I had high hopes for this company but have been unimpressed so far. Will be cancelling my appointment and booking someone who will actually respond to customer requests.

Rocky Mountain Pro-Tek has cleaned my oriental rugs for several years. They are always courteous and willing to take the extra time and effort to make sure the rugs are really clean. I do appreciate the pickup/delivery service as well.

On-time arrival, as always. My walk-through comments and requests were noted and taken care of with a "will do" professionalism. Helpful suggestions, such as that I should remove my office chair mat, instead of cleaning around it, showed good knowledge of cleaning principles that avoid stains around edges, for instance. We weren’t satisfied with the first cleaning outcome and contacted the company. After discussing the issues with Doug, the owner, he returned with a different procedure/machine and various cleaners to deal with the remaining stains and odors.

Re: area rugs and furniture - I would not spend the money on cleaning rugs. According to Doug, they prefer to take the rugs to the store for cleaning, but I didn’t know that up front and/or don’t remember being told that before. Thr furniture was cleaned a 2nd time and it also needed a 2nd pass.

Prior to start, it might be useful to communicate your comfort level regarding chemical use. I feel they needed to use more product across the board, the first time around. Additionally the company should consider vacuuming prior to carpet cleaning with a professional strength process rather than leaving this to the customer.

I liked the people a lot and would hire them again.

Amy went above and beyond to take care of our carpets as we had had a roommate situation with a dog that was not house broken. The smell was extreme and she used advanced techniques to clean our carpets. We were more than grateful. Thank you Amy!!

Our son is serving our country overseas and his home was trashed by roommates. Carpets had pet stains (solid and liquid) and they smelled horribly. Doug and Debbie did a great job cleaning the carpets, including changing the pads under the stairway landings, where the pets loved to go.

After the carpets dried for a few days, some of the stains wicked up through the carpet and Pro-tek returned to clean those up. Here we are, over a month later and the carpets still look great. Saved the expense of a full replacement.

On top of it all, they gave our son a military discount. We highly recommend their services for the tough carpet jobs.

Amy was prompt, and did a great job cleaning our carpet. She provided an estimate to do grout clean and seal, which I am planning to schedule soon.

The crew at Rocky Mtn Pro Tek was wonderful to work with from scheduling the appointment to having the carpets cleaned. They were very good about getting me worked into their schedule quickly. When it came time to the scheduled appointment day they actually called and said they were ahead of schedule and asked if I wanted to bump up my time an hour or wait until my allotted time. For me that was a huge bonus to have them arrive early and get it done sooner. The lady that cleaned my carpets was very friendly and easy to work with, she didn't try to push me to buy services I felt unnecessary. She was very cautious of my walls and furniture I hadn't moved to make sure not to hit them, another big plus for me as I have had companies come in and ding up walls and furniture multiple times! I will definitely be using Rocky Mtn Pro Tek for all my carpeting cleaning needs (found out they also do tile cleaning!). Keep up the great work guys!

I would not hesitate to choose Higher Ground again or to recommend them to anyone else. Brian did an excellent job on some very old and worn carpets--he cleaned every room in our home and a stair case efficiently and quickly. He even moved several small pieces of furniture that I needed help with. He was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and skillful.
