Lime Roofing replaced the roof of my house as a part of my closing so I did not work with them directly on the roof. However, about 2 months later when I moved in, I noticed a natural gas smell in the house. Long story short, when the roof was replaced, the venting for the hot water heater was moved and not correctly reinstalled, ultimately meaning that carbon monoxide was leaking into my house. Scary – especially since hot water heater is right outside my bedroom. I had to have an HVAC team come out and make that repair on my own dime. Additionally, the caps on the vents on the roof were not replaced until nearly three months after the job was done. I don't know much about roofing but it sounds like the roof quality is good (coming from my contractor) but the other issues would make me question working with them in the future.

I called Lime Roofing to evaluate my roof after a hail storm came through our area. Bryan was up front an honest telling us that the damage was not enough to constitute a replacement and the life expectancy of the roof had not been effected. We will be calling them for all future roof inspections and replacements.

I was impressed - and relieved - when Lime came out to look at my roof recently and told me it was fine and I didn't need any repairs, let alone a new roof. Bryan works hard and is very conscientious. I would expect no less of those who he works with. Bryan was super responsive and professional throughout the process, I felt informed and the whole process was super seamless! The crew we had working on it got it done much quicker than we anticipated and did a great job cleaning up. They were mindful of my dog and were sure to do a thorough sweep so that the dog was safe to go outside when they were done. My first roofing experience, and am so glad that Lime made the experience easy and quick and comprehensive!

From the beginning of our job which was making sure my insurance company covered all storm damage(roof/gutters/skylights/painting) Lime Roofing was excellent to deal with. My wife and I had a great experience with SDB, specifically with Mike McCarty and Trevor. This is such an intimidating and cumbersome experience but Mike was incredibly patient and thorough and made the entire engagement enjoyable.

I had a consultation with Sustainable Design Build regarding a basement project, and even though the project ended up being too small for the type of work they typically take on, Mike McCarty still spent a tremendous amount of time helping me.

He patiently answered my questions, shared his knowledge, and provided multiple referrals for mold remediation, testing, and construction professionals who could better fit my needs. At no point did I feel rushed or dismissed. In fact, he went above and beyond to help me move forward with my project even though there was no benefit to his company.

That level of honesty, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help is rare. It was clear that Mike truly cared about helping me find the right path rather than simply trying to sell me something.

I am incredibly grateful for the time, guidance, and referrals he provided. If my project ever grows into something that fits SDB's scope, they will absolutely be the first company I call.

It's great to see a builder that pays such close attention to detail and who really cares about their projects. I have dealt with many builders in the past that are just worried about completing a job even if that means cutting corners. You will not get that with Sustainable Design Build! I cannot recommend this company enough.

Sustainable Design Build was the Design/ Build firm for a few large scale projects I worked on around Denver and I found them to be very responsive and professional. They received many accolades from their clients.

SDB did a great job of transforming what was on paper to something tangible. Our project was done in one of the hardest years to try and build a house which was 2020. Through all the building cost increases, delays, quarantines, etc. they were able to deliver a finished project that we truly enjoy.
