Great experience with Independent Power from A to Z. Design and permitting processes were smooth. Installation made ahead of time, activation a few days after final inspection. What else can we expect? Price? They beat them all! Glad we worked with a local business that knows its job perfectly well. System has been on for 2 months now and electricity bill down down down.. These guys are amazing!! When other companies (4) resisted to add to my current solar with additional panels and powerwall they stepped up and came up with an integrated system. The PM kept me informed all the way through the installation. Get it installed while you still get tax breaks!! It drives your economics, I have a 5.8 year payback.

We continue to go with Independent Power based on their performance, and more importantly their treatment of customers. Marino arrived 15 minutes early to our office location and was already prepping for the job by the time I arrived. He spoke with one of our clinicians who had an appointment and made it a point to complete the drilling before hand so as not to disturb the session. This focus not only on the job but on coordinating with us to not disrupt clients is greatly appreciated. Thanks Marino and team!

We had Independent Power install a solar Tesla Powerwall 3 battery in our solar system. Their technicians were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They took every opportunity to respect our property and complete the project. David Crowe did a great job of ensuring the installation was 100% correct, the system was programmed and we were taught how to use the phone app to obtain the optimum performance from the battery. I would recommend Independent Power to anyone looking for a contractor to install a solar battery.

My husband and I have been so impressed with the quality of workmanship and the obvious in-depth knowledge every one of your team members displayed throughout the planning and installation process of both our heat pumps and then our solar panel/ battery system. We felt secure that everything was being done correctly. And we appreciated how professional everyone was, taking obvious pride in their work.

In 2023 we decided to go with solar at our residence in Lakewood. After researching a few companies we decided to go with Independent Power out of Boulder. Our decision was based on the system they proposed, communication, pricing, the fact they are local and use their own installers and that my brother has used them a few years earlier. One thing that stood out was their knowledgeable staff. We dealt with folks that were well versed in their product, Mr. Donner, and had some years in the industry. The panels they used, Q-cell, were highly rated. Overall we felt very comfortable going with them. The install, although a little behind schedule, went well. During the installation I didn't like the look of how the wiring was being routed on the roof, something that I had initially agreed to. I asked for a change, which meant some additional effort on the crews part, but they took care of it without a fuss. To date the system has run without a hitch. We are very pleased with the company and have recommended them to a neighbor.
