My experience with Independent Power was excellent. They offered the best product and the installers were very professional in their behavior and technical expertise. I felt confident of the work they performed and, since then, have confidence they are there when I need them. This company provides excellent service from the sales person, to the technical installer, to the support after the panels were installed.

I really wish this was a 5 star review, but post sales, everyone kept dropping the ball and sucked at communication.

We signed the contract, had them out for the site survey to very everything was good and get a final plan. Everything was good, approvals from Xcel and the city. Turns out even though they had notes, it was mentioned several times, and saw it in person... they built our system wrong and on the day of install realized that they couldn't install on a vaulted ceiling. They had to go back and redesign the system and wanted to do it smaller for potential output than originally designed. We had to ask them to add a panel to get the system sized back to the original request sizing.

From there they had to go through and do Xcel's approvals all over again, over their own mistakes. Not once did we get any kind of sincere apology, it just came off as more of "Oops, our bad".

Other than that the installers were friendly. We had problems with them not ordering the right bus bar for our A-Gate, which delayed the install as well as the Xcel approvals. When it came time to them commissioning our system they sent someone out who couldn't program our SPAN panel, so again more waiting.

We also had a problem with the crew leaving metal shavings all over our sidewalk in our backyard where our dogs frequently walk, they did not clean up after themselves and found all kinds of shavings and knockouts, some brushed under a deck we have that would blow out when it got windy, that took us a couple weeks.

In general, we are good with the system we got installed and how it functions after the fact, but the project management side of it is just lacking and overall unprofessional. Because of Independent Power's mistakes we lost the 2 highest solar production months of the year, we had been hoping to bank solar credits for the winter based on our consumption and sizing.

We have been working with Independent Power since 2009 when they installed our solar panels. Recently one of our two inverters failed. It was so nice to call them after all these years and know we were in good and familiar hands. They gave us a far price after the government tariff sadly went into effect and shoulders some of the financial burned. Thank you so much Independent Power!!!

Josh, Jon, and Marino were wonderful to work with; they were all invaluable, insightful, answered our questions, and went above and beyond for our EV charger installation. Josh was very communicative throughout the entire process, from before the installation to after. Jon and Marino worked quickly and didn't need much from us during their time at our home. I can see why Independent Power has such high reviews here on Google.

Josh and Marino at Independent Power have helped me with multiple projects, and they always do great work. Their most recent job was installing an outlet for a sump pump in a concrete cellar, which they handled efficiently and professionally. Good communication, on time, and quality results. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Had a great experience with independent power. Josh, Jadon, Jon, Marino, and Kael were professional, efficient, kind, and took time to walk me through all they’d done at the end of replacing my electrical panel (which was 50+ years old & original to the house).

Don’t mind the negative reviews. They come from a SJW group and has nothing to do with the service of this business. They took very good care of me and will do the same with you.

We have work with CSI on several different projects using back up Generators and UPS systems including Fire Stations, Call Centers and other commercial buildings. Their customer first approach and their level of expertise in power generation and critical UPS backup systems make them the best in the business in my opinion.
