I met Jason and his crew when they were working on my neighbor’s trees. They provided me with an estimate for my four trees and I later solicited a second estimate from another local arborist. The two numbers were very similar so I selected Flatirons Arbor Care having already seen their work.

They did a masterful job taking down a diseased silver maple, (bucked into short logs for firewood), thinned out two very large honey locust trees and cleared dead limbs from a large pine tree, all around 30 years old. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards and I especially appreciated Jason’s attention to detail. My trees look much healthier and I can’t wait to see how they leaf out in the spring.

The guys showed up on time and ready to go - they did a great job for me, and all traces of the large aspen removed, and maple trimmed of dead branches were cleaned up from the propriety - I am very pleased with the work done, and the price paid -

Incredible knowledge. Wonderful human. We were recommended Jason by our landscapers for our new home. Jason has been incredible to work with. So open and willing to share his knowledge and explain how and why for treatments and pruning. He’s also given guidance for our planting plan for new trees. He recommended some literature for Colorado trees and we’ve found it quite useful! I’m so happy to have meet Jason and to have his expertise. Arbor Care. Jason, Talon and the crew are absolutely wonderful at what they do. We have used several tree services over the years with good and bad results. Flatirons Arbor Care was straight forward with us from the very first phone call to the very end. They told us what the cost would be, came out and removed our diseased Locust tree within two hours and even made the arrangements for the stump to be removed. I have to admit, the price quoted was the driving factor in our decision to go with Flatirons Arbor Care. The work performed, right down to the cleanup, was outstanding and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of good quality tree care.

Jason and Talon did an incredible job removing our dead aspens. They were professional, knowledgeable, and great to work with! They removed the aspens from a difficult spot in the yard and made it look easy. Nice clean up, too. We will be recommending Flatirons Arbor Care to our friends and neighbors!

Came out on a Tuesday and made it back Thursday to do the work. They want to be there for their customers. Cleaned up the area better than expected. Friendly people. Highly recommend.

Jason is a very experienced certified arborist, with many years under his belt. I appreciate his expertise and insight, treating trees without an upsell on product. I would highly recommend his services to anyone!

We have used a number of tree companies over the years, large and small, but Flatirons is the best by far. When a local company(we had a lot of respect for our arborist there) that we used was acquired by a larger company out of town, customer service and responsiveness took a nosedive. Smaller companies we have used have been much less dependable than we need and at times just disappeared after scheduling service. Overall just bad experiences.

Flatirons has been terrific. Jason the owner is very responsive, follows up after work is done at our house, and brings a real professionalism to his operation. The people he has sent have been knowledgable, listen to our questions and what we want done, and are pleasant and get the job done very well. They are good guys...we enjoy working with them as they are real people interested in keeping our trees healthy and us happy. Plus they love our dog. :-)

We recommend them if you want friendly people who get the job done. They have been terrific.

My wife and I recently retained Flatirons Arbor Care to trim multiple trees at our home where we have lived for over 30 years. Several of these were large, mature trees which had not been effectively pruned in decades. We could not be more impressed with Jason and his crew -- they set up an appointment first to assess all the plantings we had, both old and new, large and small, then took the time to walk us through each point of their assessment, explaining what they would propose for individual trees or bushes, and why. The attention to detail and patience they demonstrated was impressive! -- as was the fact that they did not propose to trim all plantings, explaining why they did not feel a particular planting needed work. Such a refreshing and honest approach!

The day of the work Jason and his team showed up promptly, explained again what they proposed to trim and why, and got to work. When they came to a particular tree for which we had some additional questions, they stopped, responded to our questions and altered the proposed cuts to address our revised desire for tree's shape. Clean-up was immaculate.

Jason and his crew of guys are amazing! They really care about the trees and their customers. Talon, Matthew and Jed were all friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all very reasonable on pricing. I just wish I would have found these guys soon, but I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

The Flatirons guys were great to work with - they had reasonable prices, showed up when they were supposed to, did exactly what they were supposed to, and cleaned up everything. Their equipment is also super quiet unlike other tree services I have used.

Jason and his crew removed a struggling tree and an overgrown juniper bush for us and they did a great job. Very clear communication all the way from the quote process to the day of service. They respected the space and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves and they had very good pricing. I will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Nick (the owner and licensed arborist) and Marvin were great to work with. They were very conscientious, walked us through the process before and during the work and cleaned up the site afterwards. I obtained three bids to take out a group of old, four-story tall trees. I also asked in the bid for a winter pruning of another large tree in the yard. Nick/NorthWest was the only company who told me I didn't need the pruning for another few years and said who ever did it, did a great job. Amazing! It shows they love what they do - which is an important factor of my bid decisions.

Highly recommend Nick and his team. Nick helped me identify which trees were the highest priority given my limited budget. Because of the equipment he uses, he was able to do tree removal at 1/4 of the price of others who have bid this job in the past. He educated me about why certain trees were not thriving (insects, fungus, no water) to revive them appropriately. He threw in many free cuts during the time he spent on our yard. He loves and knows how to care for trees! Very grateful to have found Nick; and will definitely use him again.
