Aaron was referred to us by our daughter. She found Aaron's reviews very helpful in choosing him for her landscaping job. Aaron was very professional and easy to work with. He brought great ideas to the plan and was able to schedule us in with very little wait time. The job turned out GREAT! We love our new backyard/patio space so much. His crew were equally wonderful!

I’m not sure if I have the words to describe how happy I am with the job Modern Concepts did for me. My yard was an overgrown weed mess. I didn’t even like to be in the yard. My front flower beds were also a disaster. Aaron and his team completely transformed my backyard and front flower beds. My yard has become a beautiful, peaceful oasis. I can’t wait to entertain back there. I absolutely recommend Aaron and the team at Modern Concepts. They are super hardworking and have great attention to detail. I will definitely use Aaron’s company again when I redo my side yard.

Aaron and his team are great. They helped me redesign and landscape my backyard. They were patient with me, helped me through to process of getting approval for the new design, worked tirelessly to get everything done quickly, and didn’t complain when I asked them to make changes. They did a fantastic job, and I will use them in the future for my front years. Aaron even came out in the spring to check my sprinkler system because it wasn’t working properly after I had it de-winterized. He quickly figured out the problem (which had to do with the way another company blew out the system for the winter) and got it up and running. I never leave reviews, but I can’t say enough about how great my experience was. If you have a large landscaping project, call Aaron. You won’t be disappointed!

Such a great company. Very efficient. They were in and out and completely changed my yard in one day. Very respectful. They communicated Very well. I will be using them in the future for anything else I need.

Aaron and his crew are amazing! They did a fantastic job on our backyard and we couldn’t be happier with the process and result. It was a big project, transforming a large uneven dirt space into our design, including new fencing, a new retaining wall in the alley, pavers, gravel, sod, raised beds, and adapting the sprinkler system. Throughout the time they were there, they were extremely punctual and even worked extra hours to meet their timeline, everyone was considerate and respectful about keeping things tidy, and they were always thoughtful about asking questions and offering insight. We felt like they were looking out for our best interests and wanting to make sure we were happy and knowledgeable about what they were doing. Through the whole time we were communicating with them about the project, Aaron was always very responsive after any emails I sent with questions, which I feel is rare to find. We are so pleased with the result and so happy to have worked with them on it!

We had them redo the landscaping around our house. They did a great job. They also fixed all the damage done to our sprinkler system by the plumbers that replaced our main sewer line. They were very kind and really listened to us in terms of our design ideas. Great company.

Modern Concepts did an amazing job building a retaining wall for us. They are hard workers, and the finished product seems strong and durable and is very attractive too. We’ve already gotten several compliments from neighbors. The team was willing to change design plans and bump the wall back further than hey had planned to match our vision, even if it required extra work and excavation. They went above and beyond, bringing in rock to fill in the dirt spot left on the driveway to finish out the project. They also did a thorough job cleaning up before they left. All members of the crew were courteous and kind. Highly recommend for any retaining wall or other landscaping projects you have.

Aaron and his crew did an absolutely fantastic job with my backyard. Between my dog digging up the drip system years ago and putting in a garage, it was quite the mess of weeds and dirt. Aaron came by to take a look and get me an estimate and immediately understood my vision for the yard. He and his crew got it done, checking in with me throughout the process to make sure everything was looking good, and even planning to come back by to swap out one of the flagstone pavers that has a crack in it (without me asking). I can't recommend this company enough!

If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then here’s a 12,000 word review. From Thursday morning to late Saturday afternoon, the change was amazing. Aaron and his team were clean, efficient, and did top-notch work. I mean, c’mon, look at the difference in my retaining wall. Fair and reasonable charges as well.

Aaron and his crew are among the best contractors I have ever worked with. We had areas of our lawn regraded, with channel drainage and rocks/pavers put in as well. As soon as they arrived, I could tell I was in good hands and could sit back and relax, as opposed to the usual contractor experience where I feel the need to check-in frequently. This was a 2 day project and I spoke with the crew the morning of Day 2, just to mention some very small and specific things I wanted addressed. Well, the crew was already 1 step ahead of me and already had plans to address those exact things.

Aaron and his crew were meticulous in every aspect of their work, with precise cuts and attention to detail. They were also so amiable and easy to talk to. At the end of the project, they did a walkthrough with me of all the work afterwards to go over every detail, which was a nice touch.

If you want to finally have a contractor experience where you can truly just let the pros do their thing without having any worries, hire these guys. I surely wont hire anyone else to ever do any landscaping again.

Amazing quality work for a very reasonable price! Great communication from the start and working with us to understand our vision and build it out into the front yard. They offered great suggestions and ultimately created a wonderful design that we've gotten multiple compliments from our neighbors in just the first few days. They worked diligently and very professionally, and overall was a great experience contracting with them!

Aaron and his large team showed up on time and started work immediately on replacing our turf with artificial pet grass. Everything they touched looked better than before! They used their equipment to remove debris and replaced broken flagstone with better pieces!!! The turf looks amazing! No ripples and seams look great! They also helped with clogged underground downspouts. They removed the clogged pipe and placed a drainage grate instead! It’s beautiful! I’m all…I recommend Aaron and his crew for landscaping and will use them again!

Aaron and his team created a small, xeriscape oasis in our yard with rock & native plants, exactly to requested specifications. They were quick & thorough - did a great job cleaning up after the work was done.
Our neighborhood has a large bunny population that had destroyed an area in the yard, previously sod. It is now a pleasure to look out and see grasses, flowering plants, and best of all, pollinators!
I would highly recommend Aaron for your xeriscape &/or landscaping needs.

Aaron and his team of hard working individuals completed a set of backyard walls at our house. They showed up earlier in the day than they said they would and stayed much later than I would have thought. The team communicated all of the process to us before beginning work and throughout the project. Aaron is very thoughtful and provided suggestions on how the project could be completed. I have sense suggested this company to family and friends needing backyard work. After the project, when a different concrete contractor backed out halfway through the patio, Aaron immediately suggested someone to complete the cement work. Our backyard is so much nicer than it was. I cannot recommend this company and Aaron Le enough.
