Bear Mountain went above and beyond to repair our boiler. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing boiler repairs in the area. Thank you!

Found ourselves in a pinch on a Sunday nite when our furnace went out and temperatures were dropping fast. They responded so quickly, were super helpful, and really saved the day. Huge kudos to these guys, highly recommend!

I have had Bear mountain mechanical doing work for a few years now. I would highly recommend them. They can handle anything you throw at them. They show up when they say they will. In emergency situations, they are fast with answering calls, whether it's the middle of the day or the middle of the night.

Matt and Chad at Bear Mountain went above and beyond to get our boiler fixed. After the distributor sent the wrong part, they tracked down another part in Denver and brought it up late on a Friday to do the install. 5 star service across the board - they got our heat and hot water back in the cold of winter!

Alec and Danny came out to inspect our boiler this week for the first time and it was a great experience. These gentlemen were on time, inspected our boiler and said we're good to go, did not try to sell me something I don't need and said they hope to see us next year for an annual inspection. That's a done deal - I will request these two again!

Bear Mountain quoted me 1/3 the amount that I was quoted by one of the big companies that was recommended on Nextdoor. They explained why their quote was much lower and it made a lot of sense (and I backed it up with research). They arrived/finished on time and did an excellent job. Great experience overall. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this company. Matt, the owner, is very responsive and very knowledgeable. Zach and Mike came out and worked thru the rain with a great
attitude. I have gone thru a couple of HVAC companies over the years and so glad to have found Bear Mountain. -
The plumbers who installed the radiant heat system when I built my house (not Bear Mountain) installed it wrong using tubing that allowed oxygen into the system along with a cast iron boiler. Water, oxygen and iron caused rust that was then in my system. 10 years ago, Bear Mountain replaced my boiler with a stainless steel boiler and a heat exchanger at a cost of over $8000 that should have cured the issue but there was a cast iron pump that they did not replace until about 1 month ago. The pump should have been replaced at the time the new boiler was installed but was left to cause more rust issues for 10 years. That should have been replaced at the same time. You can’t fix the issue until all cast iron parts were replaced with stainless steel or the rust issue will not go away. They used to be good company with Techs who knew what they were doing but no longer. They have come out over 15 times in the past 9 months, charged over $6000 and I am left with a boiler spewing more than 10 gallons of water a day onto my floor. Recently they installed a $600 pump that was not needing to be replaced. Their tech, Zach, came out to remove it and put the old one back in. That’s all he was supposed to do. Instead he decided to flush the system but introduced air into it so the boiler started making horrendous noises. I came in to check on him and he had flooded my basement. This guy has no idea what he is doing. The owner, Matt Pagano kept trying to say my radiant heat system needed to be repiped and that this would fix all of my problems so Zach came back out and repiped but the next day the boiler failed. Matt came back out and said it wasn’t done correctly so he did it himself and said everything should work right. It failed again the next day so he came back out and cleaned the heat exchanger saying that should fix everything but that’s when water started flooding my basement again. I called him back and he laughed and said “I guess you need a new boiler.” and told me to turn off the system and turn it back on when I need hot water and that he would not come back out until I bought a new boiler.
I am stuck without hot water for the past 2 weeks unless I restart the boiler, put a bucket under the relief valve and have to dump the bucket every hour.
Matt is now refusing to come back out, told me he doesn’t feel bad for me and told me to get a new company. What a great way to treat a 10 year client. -
Easily beat out two other estimates by more than 1k dollars for a Furnace replacement with a new AC installation included. Although I had a few installation issues at first, they were very quick to correct them to get it right. Used BMM again for a humidifier install and everything works great. Matt and his staff are very helpful and quick to respond.

Matt, Zack, and everyone at Bear Mountain Mechanical has been super clear with advice and plans, and very fair with pricing. I always feel that they suggest only what is needed, and then perform the work quickly and skillfully. Finding and fixing problems with boilers and their plumbing can be a challenge. They stand behind their work and make sure everything is done right. Always a great experience.

I have used Bear Mountain Mechanical for a few projects around my home, including: a new Heating and new AC Unit install and some maintenance visits.
I am always impressed how professional and straightforward the business is conducted. I was never once been left without working heat or air for more than a few hours and the job was done before the deadline for the project and within the scope of my budget. The quality of the equipment has always been fantastic as well.
I would most certainly trust them with future work and plan on using them for a few custom projects this coming year alone. -
Matt and his team were outstanding! They were timely, courteous, and had very fair pricing. I have my new HVAC team for my house and all the properties I manage now! They rerouted a bunch of radiant heat baseboard lines around my house, moved lines for a renovation into the ceiling so we could raise it, moved a thermostat, various items.

Matt showed up promptly to a rental property I own. He found that the water leak was a simple clogged tube on the humidifier, and blew that out. He then pulled off a thermostat and snapped another back on. I was billed $550.00! Turns out he charges a $280.00 trip fee and $300.00 an hour for time which also includes trip time! So for a total driving time back and forth and time at the house, a total of two hours, (exaggerated) I was charged $550.00! Yes, I feel violated.

I would like to give a strong recommendation for Matt and Bear Mountain Mechanical. We needed to replace the manifold for our under floor radiant heating system this past year and we spent many weeks trying to find a company that would replace it for a reasonable cost. We had one company indicate it would cost over $20,000 and take a significant amount of time to get the equipment needed. Clearly, that company was trying to take advantage of us. Matt did the repair for a fraction of the time and the cost. And the repair is currently working well. I highly recommend Matt and Bear Mountain Mechanical.

We called about our broken boiler fan and 24 hours later we had heat again. Omar was on time, communicative and efficient! Other staff who took our call and helped find the parts were also great. Will be using these guys again.

Alex with Bear Mountain Mechanical was such an incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable mechanic. He came to look at a heat pump we were having issues with in our condo complex. We never felt rushed or like we were trying to be sold solutions. He explained everything really well to both my husband and I AND the building engineers. He was literally the best. In the long run, he saved us a lot of money and headaches. We will be calling this company again if we ever have another issue!
Not only were we able to get a same-day appointment, but Bear Mountain Mechanical's prices were drastically better than two other competitors we called. -
Heat zone valve motor was not working.
Service Tech diagnosed the problem quickly, said it was a quick and easy fix.
Told me the part was easy to order on-line and do it myself next time and that he would show me how to do it.
Said it would save me "a couple of bucks" next time to do it myself, so I allowed him to proceed and show me.
Took less than 15 minutes. He then informed me that I would be billed $480!!!
That's not "a couple of bucks"!!!!
Part is available online for $60.
Based on their hour rate of $210/hr and assuming a 1/2 hr minimum, they charged me $295 for the part.
Avoid Bear Mountain Mechanical and save yourself "a couple hundred bucks" or more. This is the first time I've had a company proceed with work without providing a quote or estimate on the repair. I usually don't even have to ask and in this case I didn't feel too concerned based on what the service tech told me about the repair. I'll be more careful in the future and I won't be using Bear Mountain Mechanical again. -
I was a little skeptical at first when my apartment complex in Fort Collins brought in Bear Mountain Mechanical to handle HVAC maintenance—mainly because I noticed they’re based pretty far from here. As someone who works in the HVAC industry, I was curious why a company outside our area was contracted.
That said, I was genuinely impressed. The techs were professional, friendly, and efficient. They were in and out quickly, and the PTAC units are running great.
A few months ago, we were dealing with some respiratory issues caused by black mold buildup in our PTAC heaters. Our maintenance team handled that at the time, but it was still reassuring to have Bear Mountain do a follow-up cleaning. They mentioned the units were already pretty clean when they got to them, and I appreciated their thoroughness and the fact that they took the time to check everything over. I know the importance of seasonal maintenance, so this gave me a lot of peace of mind.
They were respectful, personable, and clearly took pride in their work—thank you! -
We have have a great bond with Bear Mountain Mechanical and they have been a pleasure to work with! Selena - Office Manager has always been very responsive and quick to get us scheduled.
