I am a business owner and have been using Frontier Mechanical since 2019 for Maintenance and any service needs that have arisen. They are consistent with being here for my maintenance call every quarter. I have always felt that they are more than fair and honest. I have had some other companies here before and always felt like they were trying to rip me off but not with Frontier. All the techs have been extremely professional and friendly. I am now selling my business and will no longer need their services but will definitely pass on their contact info to my buyer and hope that they continue to use them. Thank you Frontier for all your great service.

I had the same exact experience as Matt B. had. Their tech was out for 45 minutes and I got billed for 3 1/2. When I asked why I was charged so much they told me the same thing they told Matt B. There are plenty of good mechanical companies out there. I highly recommend using someone other than Frontier.

I contacted Frontier Mechanical to service an ice maker and was scheduled fairly quickly, either same or next day.

I was billed $750 for the visit, which included 4 hours of labor at $170/hr, a $50 service charge, and a $20 fuel fee. The invoice stated that the technician cleaned the machine’s coils and recommended replacing a computer control board, quoting an additional $2,000 for the repair, without disclosing the cost of the part itself.

After reviewing my security camera footage, the technician was on site for approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes. When I questioned why I was billed for 4 hours, I was told that Frontier Mechanical charges $170 per hour for drive time, the same rate charged for skilled mechanical labor, while also also adding a separate fuel fee. They did remove one hour of labor because the technician drove home after my job.

After receiving the quote, I looked up the control board and found the retail cost to be only a few hundred dollars, meaning the vast majority of the $2,000 quote was labor. To put that in perspective, a brand-new ice machine costs roughly the same amount.

Charging premium technician rates for driving, stacking service and fuel fees on top, and then quoting a repair dominated by labor—without disclosing part costs up front—was not transparent and feels grossly disproportionate to the work performed.

I’m posting this so other customers clearly understand Frontier Mechanical’s labor and travel billing practices before deciding to schedule service.

ATS Mechanical is the most reliable and efficient company I have worked with. I am property manager/real estate agent and have utilized other companies but will only refer ATS as their standards and ethics are extremely high.

Everything was good and worked great until about 2 weeks ago. One of the wires had a short and they diagnosed it although it took them sometime to locate it, finally they locate and fixed it. And now my unit is up and running perfectly. KUDOS GUYS…

Trigram Commercial Air Conditioning Repair replaced my existing heat pump system with new units and did a great job with craftsmanship, explaining how to use the new thermostat, making sure everything worked as it should, and cleaned the work area before leaving. Highly recommended.
