I was having problems with my HVAC system. Tiffany worked with me to get me early in the schedule if an opening came up. Frank H. was the technician. I am not sure he believed me about me stating there was something wrong with the HVAC system. Frank took a very systematic/procedural review of the system and eventually determined something had been mis wired. He fixed the system and I soon found a measurable improvement in the system. I was grateful for the thorough review and fix of my system.

Andrew came to my house this summer to repair my AC that decided to give up right when summer was winding down. Even though the season was almost over, we still needed the AC running—and I’m so glad we got it fixed because we ended up using it for another month!

He spent about an hour carefully diagnosing the issues with my older unit and then took the time to sit down with me to go over everything line by line. He explained what needed to be repaired right away, what I could do preventatively, and what could wait (and what might happen if I waited too long).

I really appreciated how thoughtful, detailed, and honest he was. This was the first time someone truly took the time to assess the system with care and explain it in a way that actually made sense. My AC has been running great since, and I’ll definitely be calling Andrew again in the spring for more maintenance!

Great company! Very polite, professional employees. Andrew, came out yesterday to perform a PM on my furnace, not only did a great job, but explained to the me what he was doing. Since I started using this company a couple years ago, I’ve had nothing but a good experience with them. It was nice to have my home heating at an even temperature all night long. I joined their yearly membership, I know my next step will be calling them to preform a PM on my AC. It’s nice to work with a company that is honest and that you know you can trust being in your home.

I'm very happy with the service I received from Sensible. They were able to get the water heater installed very quickly. Jake and Brian were great to work with and their electrical contractor, Richard from Modelco Electric was also first class. I highly recommend them especially for green energy jobs.

I contacted Sensible to help my mother with a checkout of her furnace along as to determine why she couldn't get the unit to operate. (2 other companies had been out and frankly they weren't very helpful.) Andrew was the tech that came to her home and he was able to determine and mention a couple of things that the other companies didn't. First, regarding the functionality of the furnace, Andrew saw that a code needed to be entered into the thermostat to allow it to operate. Once he was able to figure out a work around to get my mom's furnace to kick on, he set the thermostat at a temperature that would stay constant and be comfortable for her through the colder months. Secondly, Andrew advised us that the furnace is 26 years old and while it was working okay for now, it is on borrowed time and it's hard to say how much longer it will work. But at least it's working for now and my mother is no longer having to go outside to warm up! When it is time for her to replace her furnace, Sensible is the first company we will call to do the job. Highly recommend.

Brian and Hunter did a great job installing my new indirect water heater attached to the boiler. They were knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and kept everything clean as they worked in the house. Phil and Jo were also great to work with getting everything set up. I highly recommend the whole team at Sensible Heating and Cooling!

Tiffany (the dispatcher) and Andrew (the technician) did a great job scheduling our appointments and performing very thorough tune-ups of our two furnaces and boiler system. They provided detailed feedback (including photos) of the health of each unit and also identified a warranty issue that required attention. We were very happy with their services and recommend Sensible Heating & Cooling to others in need of similar support.

Aaron all ways does a very thorough job, is friendly and courteous and carefully explains his recommendations.
