DO NOT USE THEM. They took my $100 deposit, claimed they mowed twice (citing dates and times, which we know are not true), refuse to return the deposit , and now will not return phone calls or emails.

Can't wait till snow season hopefully shoveling will be in the future lol

One of the finest landscaping outfits in all of Colorado. Creative designs, trustworthy, reasonable rates and fast and efficient work ethics make this a true 5 Star outfit.

Unreliable service. Even after four attempts to request service - not even a call back. Perhaps if you have a big money making project they will make time for you. Otherwise - if your an average home owner- don’t waste your time.

Called them for a quote on sod removal/replacement and flagstone. They came out, seemed very responsive, and never heard from them. I called a week and a half later and left a voice mail, asking if they had a quote yet, or if they did not want the job to just let me know, ...no response.

This Family owned and operated business provides friendly professional services. Everything looks great; from the landscape renovation, to the custom flagstone patio addition. They do not stop caring after the install is complete; providing lawn maintenance, aeration, and full sprinkler services. I'd recommend them for both personal property and business!

Amazing job on my Fall clean up. Fast service and exceptionally responsive. Customer service was outstanding. Yard Elves will definitely be my go-to for any yard projects that come up.

I had a small job to do, and some companies weren’t interested. I called Yard Elves, got a fair estimate within a few days, and they scheduled and completed the job a couple of days later. I was very happy with the whole process and finished job. I highly recommend them.

The new rental house our CSU student lives in needed some serious yard TLC -- and Yard Elves came to the 'rescue'. Leaf removal, shrub trimming, tree trimming, and weeding were all done to a level that exceeded our expectations. Very professional and friendly to deal with. Yard Elves did a large landscaping project 13 years ago which came out beautifully and we have been using them ever since for irrigation, plowing and lawn care. They are prompt and everything gets taken care of automatically.

Yard Elves has been helping service several families rental properties in northern colorado for more than five year. and they have personally landscaped my family property. they have been wonderful to work with and have exceeded our expectations with the service provided to us over the years. they have personally taken care of mowing, weeding, trimming, and provided snow removal when needed on our rental properties. they have also landscaped my property which turned out spectacular. everyone we have met with over the years have been professional , and knowledgable. i highly recommend you give these guys a call if you need any yard work done in the northan colorado area.

Just had a project completed by Yard Elves. The entire process was very easy and team was a pleasure to work with. They had many ideas to help make the yard look better. I would highly recommend them and look forward to using their services again.

Yard Elves does high quality work! They installed red stripstone edging for some flower beds, stripstone around a large red flagstone walkway and a large cement pad/patio that would support a hot-tub at my first property in 2013. The cement pad/patio has not cracked or chipped and the pour was very smooth. The walkway was done in such a way that it is rare that weeds ever take hold in the 'cracks' between the pavers. This home was new construction so there is often shifting and settling that happen with the clay soils. For the items Yard Elves installed, there seems to be no problems with the clay soil. The front step of the home that was poured by the builders is experiencing wash away of soil from underneath but the Yard Elves installed patio is not having that problem. If you want quality work done that won't require a redo in 5-10 years, contract with Yard Elves!

Yard Elves did a total re landscaping of my backyard this spring. Initially, the job was beautifully done. However, about mid summer, the fescue sod which they laid down started to die. It took me almost a month of constant phone calls and emails (only 2 of which were returned) to get them to come out and take a look. They admitted that there was a definite problem with the sod, and promised that they would get back to me right away after contacting the sod farm about what should be done. They even took several photos.

It has been a month. They never came back. Never called. Nothing. I have given up on Yard Elves. I cannot recommend them as they do not take responsibility for fixing what is wrong, even when they acknowledge the problem. I will have to re sod the yard - with a different landscaper.

I wish more companies were as trustworthy, knowledgeable and cared about the customer/people as yard elves does. I have worked with Nicole and Alan for 12 years on multiple projects. Not only did they install my entire landscape design impeccable according to the architect, but the work was done in a very quick time frame and was seriously amazing. I had so many compliments from neighbors on the detail of the work. The crew and job managers are so respectful and detailed in the work. They totally respect your property and are considerate to neighbors. The irrigation system for the lawn and drip system I have never had problems with and this is after 12 years. When repairs and maintenance does occur they have the upmost skilled technician available, who will explain everything in detail on site. Over the years, I have had yard elves come refresh the property (the most resent June 2018) , mow and do general maintenance, and now will be using them to upscale my backyard Koi pond! I am so excited to have them give their Koi pond expertise to my back yard. Not many landscape companies know anything about pond installation or maintenance, but trust me, you want a company who knows about ponds! One thing most people don't know or appreciate is that they have a vast amount of knowledge regarding tree and shrub health and have contacts with local experts regarding disease and weed mitigation. These folks hit the ball out of the ball park every time. I highly recommend them. Melinda Poland.

Yard Elves did a lawn/leaf maintenance project that included removing years of heavy pine needles.
They also bid for and carried out a landscaping project that involved leveling ground, installing weedblock, and installing rocks to improve groundcover.
Their work has been excellent -- we are very happy with the results.

Yard Elves is the best lawn care service I've used. I've used them a few times, and they've always been very helpful and professional. They show up when promised, and the results have always been fantastic. I would recommend Yard Elves to anyone looking for a lawn care service in Northern Colorado.
