Norman and his team did an outstanding job on my yard! Norman is a true professional and his work speaks for itself. He arrived to give me an estimate the same day I called. The estimate was very competitively priced, he agreed to do the work within a few days and he and his team were punctual, respectful, and cheerful! I am extremely pleased and will be telling all of my friends about the excellent work from this small, family owned business. I tried to provide a review via Angie's List and Home Advisor (now the SAME company), but unless you ordered the work through them, you cannot do so. :( As I had Norman referred to me by a friend, my only option was to provide a review via Google. I hope this helps others looking for tree pruning/removal service! Thank you, Norman!!!

I had a very large willow tree that needed to be removed. Norman and his wife and crew were excellent! Very professional and safe and courteous. They worked so hard all day long! It was done in one day! Stump grinding was done as well! I would HIGHLY recommend Norman and his crew for all your tree needs! Norman has been doing this for a long time and knows what he is doing! His crew has been with him many years and they all work together very well! This was a challenging tree to take down and they handled it with the utmost professionalism and safety! Don't hesitate to call them!

I had a tree damaged by the wind. Norman's Expert Tree Service recognized the urgency of the situation and expeditely removed the tree. They were considerate of my property and thoroughly cleared my property of all debris. The tree stump removal was beyond expectations. I had room to plant perennials in the same spot. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Norman Expert Tree Service and will use them again.

Norman and his crew did an amazing job taking down a massive dead 80+ year old blue spruce in our hard-to-access backyard and did so with minimal damage to our grass and surrounding plants. Norman is an outstanding source of knowledge on trees and tree care, and he clearly places an emphasis on safety. Highly recommended!

Norman has helped us out multiple times, from trimming to large removal. The experience has always been quick, clean, and professional. His crew is very friendly and do a very thorough job- it's apparent that this company cares. Norman seems to have an inexhaustible knowledge of trees as well. I wouldn't call anyone else!

Norman and his crew are always on time and professional. I have worked with them several times and refer him often to people looking for tree care. They always do excellent clean ups and the only way you can tell that they were working on someone's property is that the trees look great. Don't hesitate to call them for any tree related services.

Norman and (Alex, if I'm remembering correctly) cleaned up an established crab apple and our Norway maple. Quite happy with the results! I also appreciated Norman taking extra time explaining things to me...the process never felt rushed. Norman and his crew are skilled skilled climbers, fun to watch! It looks like they're having fun getting things done! We intend to ask them back in the future.

Kevin and I walked walked around my property and looked at all of my trees. He shared his tree knowledge and addressed my concerns. He wrote an estimate on the spot. A week later, Kevin and his crew showed up, on time, to do the trimming. They did the work as specified and quickly. They did a great job with the trimming and clean up. The bill is exactly the same as the estimate. Great job! Highly recommend!

I am very happy with the work Foothills Tree Experts did for me, pruning/thinning a mature American elm tree that was overhanging my house. They were fast with an estimate, the price was reasonable, the tree looks terrific, and they just simply did a great job. The care they took cleaning up the roof/gutters/lawn afterwards was far beyond my expectations.

Kevin and Company did a good job of pruning our trees and cleaning up the area before they left.

Kevin and his crew are amazing! They took out an old cottonwood tree in a very difficult position on a steep bank of a lake and did a fantastic job! Professional, fair, honest and experts, absolute experts at what they do. Could not have done a more perfect job!

Not only have they provided the consistency of quality, they are absolute professionals. They are communicative, clean and speedy. A neighbor hired this company and they needed access to my yard to get the tree out of their yard. It worked out great because I had a couple smaller trees that needed to be removed as well. Foothills Tree Experts did a great job and all of the workers were really friendly. They cleaned up the area very nicely. Would definitely recommend this company.

Hired Foothills Tree to remove some trees as well as do some pruning. Was very impressed with their knowledge and attention to detail. They were quick, got the job done, cleaned up beautifully and the rates were reasonable. Highly recommend!

Kevin and his crews have cared for my trees and bushes for a number of years and have done such a good job, both as to the health and appearance of them. They always leave the work areas clean and in good shape which I really appreciate.

We had 4 different bids to get our honey locust tree pruned out and even if Foothills being just slightly more in cost, we got so much for our bucks! They did such a great job, were professional and really listened to what we were looking for. Very detailed. Clean up afterwards was immaculate. Would highly recommend.

We have used Kevin and his team on several of our tree removals. Unfortunately the 2008 tornado has slowly but surely taken its toll on our trees and most of them had to be taken down. Most recently however we had a tree struck by lightning and the top had died off. Kevin came out and instead of removing the tree he recommended we take off the damaged area and give it plenty of TLC.... water, nutrients etc... to see if it could be saved. Thankful that is their attitude instead of "cut it down" prefer to not lose anymore trees. Great team, quick and helpful service.

This has been one of the worst companies we've ever had the displeasure to come in contact with. They do subcontract work for PVREA "trimming" trees for the power lines. Now we understand the need for this, but years previous, they left all the trimmings for us to clean up. In speaking with the owner, Kevin, this year we expressed our concerns with what they have done in the past with leaving trimmings behind, he informed us that he's been doing it for 25 years and it was PVREA that left the trimmings behind most likely.

Secondly, they are driving big trucks all over our yard with out asking permission. When I noticed this, I got him on the phone and let him know that's NEVER how it's been done, and that wet conditions exist where the trucks are and that if they bury a truck they are responsible for any damage caused.

Thirdly, I informed him there are cameras all around the property. He did not heed my warnings. I have them on camera talking bad about my mother and one of his co-workers making motions that we're crazy. Very professional. I will upload this video on YouTube and share the link.

I have reached out to PVREA to express my concerns with this subcontractor and his lack of professionalism. All the positive reviews seem to paint a different picture, so apparently we are the problem with merely wanting our property respected, and their trimmings cleaned up.

We will have Climbers Tree Service, a professional tree service, do this next time because they have completely butchered our trees.

Foothills Tree Experts of Fort Collins, CO came out to prune and/or remove seven large trees on our 8-acre property off Bingham Hill Road on March 12, 2025. They had the job completed in less than four hours, including clean up. It was impressive to watch how organized and efficient they were. We particularly appreciated that any time there was the slightest question about what we needed done, they made sure to ask before proceeding another step. Many of the trees were located at the periphery of our inner yard area which is surrounded by wooden rail fencing and they took particular care to ensure no damage was done to the wooden rail, the flower beds or grass. After agreeing on the original estimate and start date, I contacted Kevin later to add a couple of trees which he did without hesitation for a bargain price. I don't know most of their names as there were probably ten or more working under Kevin's direction and all, to the man or woman, friendly, especially Daniel, who loves animals and even "hugged" our 2,000 lb pet Angus steer, Bosco. We've had many contractors out to our new home since we moved here but the folks with Foothill Tree Service most assuredly stood out with their professionalism, enthusiasm and pleasantness.
