Reviews of local pros in Frederick, Colorado

We had a big project at our home that included flooring, putting in a new wall, remodeling a kitchen and more. Mike and the team were great to work with, could do everything and worked within our budget. When we were pricing it out, Wolf Construction had by far the best price and did great work. Mike is proactive in communicating and returns calls and texts quickly. We would definitely work with them again for future projects.

We recently completed a kitchen remodel with Mike Wolf and Wolf Construction. Mike was highly responsive throughout the entire project and was great at providing explanations whenever we had questions. The project took longer than we all initially anticipated, but Mike and crew did a really good job of working around backorder issues and all of the chaos related to doing a remodel during a global pandemic. His crew were also great on-site and the kitchen turned out beautifully! Thank you!

We used Wolf Construction for a full basement remodel (1 bathroom & 2 other rooms). The project was fully completed in 10 weeks which was 2 weeks ahead of schedule and the speed blew us away!! Mike was very communicative and great to work with throughout. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and customer service through the final design and punch list stages. Everything looks great and we were able to collaborate on some creative solutions to keep costs down but keep quality up at the same time. Overall we are really happy and would definitely recommend Wolf Construction for your remodel!!

I am the owner of a local engineering company and thoroughly enjoy working with Wolf Construction Group. Not all contractors are created equal and Wolf is a cut above the rest. They are honest, priced competitively, and they perform excellent work. I highly recommend them for your next project.

Highly recommend Wolf Construction! Mike and his team have been fantastic. From the beginning Mike has been super responsive and handled everything we threw at him. He’s worked on our three rental properties - including extensive plumbing, electrical, roofing, HVAC, painting, foundation, concrete, etc. We have yet to find something he can’t do. All work is top quality and at a fair price. We will use Wolf Construction for our future projects.

Mike and the entire team did an amazing job with our extended roof to create a cover patio. We couldn’t be happy with the finish project.

We used Wolf Construction to a kitchen remodel and new flooring. They did an excellent job! Mike was super easy to work with. Very straight forward and very reasonable priced. We were originally going to use Home Depot, but was having some problems and wanted a second option. Mike came right away, gave and estimate (which came in much lower) and got to work immediately. Our job was even completed 2 weeks early! We highly recommend Wolf Construction Group and will definitely use them again for future projects.

Wolf Construction came out to do our floors and install cabinets last month and WOW! These guys we're on time everyday, did the job extremely well and we're really great people!

We were referred to Wolf Construction Group from our architect for a large-scale renovation and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with them!

Mike and his team are organized, on schedule (even ahead at times), solutions-oriented, communicative, creative and personable. If there was a problem, they didn't come to us until they had a few solutions and options.

From the painters to the tile work to the clean up - everyone was very professional and excellent at their craft.

I really can't say enough good things about Mike, Wolf Construction and his workers. The guys who built the deck were wonderful. They came in the morning and even though it was in the 90's that day finished my 12x12 deck with a top boards and posts to hang plants and wind chimes from in one day. AND IT IS PERFECCT. Blue and Brady did the skirting and also helped me with adding steps and railing to my existing porch at no extra expense. They moved my heavy glider onto the porch and were so kind. They were ALL amazing and so helpful. I will enjoy my deck and extra steps and remember the amazing men who built it and helped me. You can't go wrong hiring Wolf Construction group!

I selected Wolf Construction Group based on price and my need to better understand the entire process and they offered an itemized quote for a tenant finish project. This was my first experience with any general contractor, I found Mike to be easy to communicate with and responsive to my questions and needs. He worked with me so that I could tackle some of the basic parts of the build out that did not require a technical background and kept cost down. He met the quoted timeline so we were able to get our certificate of occupancy and open on time as planned. Personally, I did not enjoy the build out, needs arise and costs go up, but it was important to me to have a partner who I knew I could get a hold of and come up with the best solution to move forward as quickly as possible. I appreciate Wolf Construction Group and all of their subcontractors help in getting the project done.

I had my downstairs bathroom remoldeled. They did an amazing job from start to finish. The project started on time and was completed on time! The guys cleaned up after everyday! You won't be sorry if you hire them, they are also very reasonable on their prices!

Great job, great price. Mike and his team did everything from kitchen and bath remodels to closet design and construction, to exterior painting and driveway expansion. They were kind and responsive, and the final product is beautiful.

We had a great experience with our basement finishing project. The team was professional and communicative. The quality of the work was good and the space turned out how we hoped. Highly recommend.

Every construction/remodel project has challenges. Wolf Construction Group (Matt and Mike) stepped up and dealt with each one in a professional and timely manner. The overall project schedule was a success even as we added other rooms and features to the project. The end result is an amazing kitchen upgrade that has everyone we know saying "WOW". Highly recommended.

We retained Mike to build a family room addition to the back of my daughter’s house in Lakewood CO. Following an architectural plan, Mike and his team constructed the addition as planned and in a professional and quality manner. The project scope included crawl space excavation, framing, roofing, hardwood flooring, electrical and trim work. Furthermore, Mike followed a detailed schedule and, in our case, completed the project much earlier than planned. Mike was straightforward enjoyable to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mike for any type of residential project.

When we moved in, we knew we had a “leaky basement window”, but we didn’t know that the entire stucco wall had been taken over by rot and mold from 20 years of poor builder construction. Calling Mike Wolf at Wolf Construction was such a blessing. Mike’s contracts are detailed and he and his teams take pride in doing a job well. Each crew that came through (demolition, structural/building, interior drywall, exterior stucco and painting, as well as a mold expert, air vent company and cleaning crew) were respectful, efficient and detailed. Our project manager, Matt Archer, was phenomenal, always available for a call back, addressing every concern I had along the way (and I had many!!), and correcting even the tiniest detail until he / I was perfectly satisfied. I have recommended Wolf Construction to neighbors and would absolutely continue to do so again in a heartbeat. Now, when it rains, instead of rushing to the basement with towels or worrying about the mold/rot in my new home, I can finally relax and know the work is done well. I am at peace, and can’t thank them enough for their work.

My husband and I bought our first home in Superior in late fall 2021 and ended up remodeling much of the interior. As first-time homeowners, this was a big adventure and undertaking for us, particularly with COVID labor and supply shortages. We couldn't have asked for a better or more experienced partner to help make our dreams a reality than Mike Wolf and Wolf Construction Group. From the moment we met Mike, he approached every challenge with creative solutions and a can-do attitude and worked hand-in-hand with us, leveraging his long experience in the industry to support us in making informed decisions. At a time when many other contractors told us either we couldn't undertake our project or that we could only begin to start it a year from when we wanted, Mike completed our gut renovation project in just five months. We constantly say we can't believe that we get to actually live in our home, and that is thanks to Mike and Wolf Construction Group's responsiveness, expertise, hard work, and creativity. We highly recommend Wolf Construction Group!

Mike and his crew did a great job for us. Complex projects, inside and out. They helped us transform our “ordinary” home into something really special. Things I appreciate about Wolf Construction: Creative, can- do attitude, professionalism, big picture perspective and also detail orientation. And warmth - they’re good guys to have around the house. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

My wife wanted a door to her office. Wolf Construction did the job and exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail and professionalism of Mike’s crew was outstanding, so much so that we had Wolf Construction paint the exterior of our house too. We recommend Wolf Construction without hesitation.

Wolf Construction is absolutely the best around. Owner Mike Wolf is great at communicating and follows through on every request and inquiry. His team of guys are the best in the industry, one of which, Luke, I've known for over a decade through various projects and his work is impeccable. I highly recommend Wolf Construction for any residential or commercial project, you won't be disappointed!
