Great company and people that have helped us for many years! Terrific resource for helping us fight beetles (using green products), saving our pine trees, keeping our yard looking great, suggesting solutions to our other questions, great arborist, and attentive service. We highly recommend them!

Chris came out to help with some problems we were having with our lawn. Roots from neighboring trees are coming up. I was prepared to spend money to grind them down, but he showed me a simple way to deal with them and also gave several good tips about how we could improve appearance of our lawn. These are my go-to guys the next time I have a lawn and tree issue.

Before the crew arrived, I asked them not to block one of two driveways. When they arrived, they blocked one of the driveways and I asked him to move the truck up so neither was blocked. I explained that vehicles in both garages had to be driven. The foreman didn't let me finish, turned, and walked away. I moved a vehicle that had been in the way, so that branches could be drug to their chipper. After I did so, the foreman backed the truck closer, re-blocking one of the driveways. His attitude was unfriendly and unprofessional.

After a lot of phone calls to many tree services,
News stations etc.! My niece Bernie (Avid animal Lover)called Schulhoff to please come help to rescue a cat up at least 30 feet up in a tree, it was windy and the cat would not come down!!! Schulhoff was so kind to say they had a truck in the area and would be right there.
Thank You!!!! So grateful for such a compassionate company!!! My family, friends will spread the word about this! Thanks again!

While literally cutting branches off a tree above a brand new car, the staff member asked, "What do you expect us to do? Knock on every door to find the car owner to have it moved?" He proceeded using my brand new car as a dropcloth for all their branches, twigs and leaves. They said they were going to blow all the debris off my brand new truck when they were done. Terrifying!

well, to answer the question.. Yes, I do expect that a tree trimming service would not damage a car during their services. Crazy thing to expect, I know. I know. Yal can do better tho. I know it. Go try harder and stay away from my car plz.

Big thanks to Corey, AJ, and Chris who went out of their way to rescue our cat from our neighbors tall tree. Really appreciate them and their willingness to help out!

WOW! They just left and my tree looks wonderful. Their chipper had broken down which took them an extra hour but it was no problem! They were very apologetic! They did a great job cleaning up and they were kind enough to explain some tree basics to me. They took care of my yard decorations so nothing would get broken. VERY CONSIDERATE!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Chris has been our go to person for all issues regarding our big lot: grass, tree pest control, tree trimming and I have been most grateful that he has taken the time to educate us on what we need to do and what can wait. I truly rely on their honesty and integrity as a company and our landscape is the evidence of their knowledge and understanding of all things involved in having a cared for and beautiful landscape. What a great company! I have been a customer since 1995 and have had nothing but excellent service. Schulhoff has gone above and beyond by helping a friend in need of yard care. They’re not just good for lawn and trees, but kind and good to human beings.

We inquired about a possible treatment for our large cottonwood tree to reduce the amount of seed dropping in our yard. Chris took the time to explain that the treatment we had in mind was not only very expensive, but ineffective. I greatly appreciate Chris taking the time to educate us and avoid wasting money on something that wouldn't work to his or our satisfaction. A very professional and high level customer service experience.

Bob Ross may have painted them the best, but Schulhoff has to be among the best around when it comes to keeping trees happy. Fair prices for fantastic work. Solid guidance and consultation. They know their stuff and do great work.

I have used this company in the past and had a great experience, however, this past year, I found myself chasing down to follow up on an estimate and each time was told someone would call me to schedule, which never happened. I ended up going with Qualitree, who gave us a very fair estimate and who immediately followed up with a confirmed date and time- to which they held and did a great job.

To start, what we have learned from our experience with Scholoff is a lack of care and consideration for our property or taking time to thoroughly explain what they mean by clearing branches. Beyond the 5 months it took for them to do the work, which being covid, we were very patient about, we often felt as though it was more about them and not so much about the customer. We were very patient and understanding with this and again covid. W get the staffing shortages, experiencing the strain ourselves at our work. Anyways, in Dec, a large 35 yr old pine was lifting at its base and threatening to fall on our house or neighbors. It was near holidays and response we got was 'well, we are on vacation the next 3 weeks and will contact you at some point in the new year,' resulting in a very scary day where the tree was leaning and we ended up contacting another tree company who came out the same day and took the tree down, without the need for equipment Schuloff said they would have to bring through our yard (and probably tear it up). We still figured we would keep the other work- being loyal to Schuloff and understanding. But, they nevered scheduled us in January and it took multiple phone calls to find out if we would ever get on the schedule. In February, they finally came out and the best explanation I got for 'clearing a pine tree 8 ft' (which their experts came up with on the work order as I am no expert) was a hand in the air. No time to really explain it and totally did not match our vision of cleaning it up a little and allowing a little more head room to walk under it. The result is branches cleared half way up a blue spruce- which not only looks aesthetically bizarre and our neighbors have commented- but also refers back to that lack of consideration for our property or for the birds and other creatures who shelter and nest in one of the only other large pines left in our yard. We complained and management was supposed to call and we still have not heard anything. We cancelled all other work orders with them (we had 2 more) and the other tree company did us a favor, and once again, came out the same day after hearing this about Schuloff. The other tree company also took the time to explain Schuloff's work to us- which was very helpful since we feel a true sense of loss for what their experts did to our beautiful, large, healthy blue spruce.

We have used Schulhoff for years for all of our lawn and tree care needs. They have taken good care of everything and our lawn continues to look amazing year after year. We have also used their tree lighting services in the last few years and what amazing holiday lights we have. We frequently have neighbors stop to ask who does such beautiful lights for us. We are happy to brag on the work the guys at Schulhoff do for us year after year. We love supporting this wonderful local business and look forward to continuing our business with them for many years to come. They are reliable, dependable, knowledgeable and all around great guys to work with.

I been in Denver for over 20 years. I had a very established yard with lots of landscaping and many trees. I recently had a bad experience with a Non-Local company. I started calling around and can across schuloff Tree. The guys came out and went over everything, in detail, that I wanted done. They made some suggestions and I was so impressed that I hired them on the spot. I left for a couple of hours and came back to beautifully trimmed trees that had all the spraying and fertilization done. I was so impressed that I ask for a contract for next year. These folks know their business and they are a local company that’s been around longer than I have. I strongly recommend them

I found this tree service satisfactory. As Schulhoff representatives very easy to work with over the last 5 years. Have no hesitation when calling for advice concerning various trees, shrubs and overall landscapes.

I called around a few companies and others didn't seem to have the time of day to give us some basic tips. Chris from Schulhoff came out to take a look at everything we have and give us tips on how to care for it. They did not pressure us into doing any work and even suggested a bunch of little things we could do ourselves that would make a huge difference.

This company really cares about doing the right work and not just racking up another invoice. They even told me some work would need to be done, but that it was the wrong season for it. When we did find an issue-- a tree sitting against our deck that needs to be dealt with-- they again gave us a lot of options and a comfortable time table for dealing with it. Schulhoff Tree did an amazing job of cutting out the dead parts of our tree in a difficult area along the fence line and below electrical wires overhead. They arrived with more than adequate equipment and cleaned up every last branch and twig afterwards.
