EDI is amazing to work with. Dan had such a great vision for what we wanted and the expertise to what what plants work the best. Every division of this company is so easy to work with. If only every contractor I have hired was so professional and courteous. We will be doing many more phases with them going forward.

I’ve been unfortunate enough to have this company at my townhome complex. There have been an array of issues from sprinklers to flowers being cut as if they were weeds. Warning flags not being placed after pesticides are used in areas where pets, and children are. Unfortunately I don’t speak Spanish and the landscapers don’t understand English. It is the first time I’ve experienced a landscape company where the landscapers don’t know the difference between flowers and weeds. A couple weeks ago they cut many of my sunflowers after I stood there and told them they were flowers. This week they took the rest out, leaving the weeds behind. It was clearly on purpose, these flowers were 4 feet tall. This is not a company I would recommend. I also find it interesting that they continually wear masks. I think it’s so that you can’t tell who is who.

In 2018 we contracted with Environmental Design out of Henderson, Colorado to complete a fairly complex and expensive landscaping, stone retention and irrigation system. The project went very smoothly and now that we have had almost one year for the plants to grow in the project looks outstanding. I wanted to make people aware that EDI is not only a great firm, they go out of their way to make customers happy, Kyle, Senior Designer, and Barry, Construction manager was awesome, we had some issues in the spring with the irrigation system and Barry had a crew there in one day, no questions asked, just fixed it. Some of our trees had a tough winter, and Kyle came out and with Barry’s support had a crew out in one day to replace the trees!

I can't say enough good things about the team, support, and beautiful design work. I highly recommend EDI and Kyle and Barry. They are truly customer-oriented and love their work and made our property healthy and beautiful.

Kyle is the most knowledgeable, talented, customer focused landscape designer I have ever worked with. I hope to never work with anyone else! The crew was also great.

EDI is not professional and doesn't stand behind their work.
We paid for several expensive trees to be planted and EDI did not plant them properly. We had a third party tree expert reach that conclusion. The trees should have been covered by EDI's warranty. EDI (Mike Hoefer) agreed to half responsibility but only offered to provide that in the form of labor. We obviously didn't want compensation in the form of labor after the trees were not planted properly. Now they have changed their mind and claimed no responsibility. I would avoid engaging with EDI.

Kyle and the Environmental Design team have been an invaluable resource for Apex Homes and our clients. From the very detailed design process/plans to the installation is very collaborative and seamless. We feel very confident whether they are designing a spec home for us or a custom build for one of our clients, we can entrust them to deliver outstanding customer service every time. Look no further if you want your landscape to compliment your home in the best of ways!

Our community has a 2 acre roof top garden as well as an expansive front garden area. EDI has done a magnificent job of working with our garden committee for the past three years to improve and maintain the gardens. Polo Club

We moved into a new home this past year, and evaluated a number of companies to handle our landscaping. We ultimately selected Environmental Designs. Kyle and his team did a fantastic job taking time to understand our needs and develop a plan that met them. We did not want any grass on the property, and they were able to put together a great design with entirely native/drought-resistant plantings. Often you see a design like this that looks a bit bland and is full of rocks, but Environmental Designs made this exciting. On top of the great design work, they were extremely responsive, communicative and professional. Their install teams were great too. Highly recommend.

Mike was a true professional throughout our process, he provided a fair price and made the changes we requested, communication was excellent and we were very happy with the final results. Highly reccomend!

The bid they provided was significantly higher than other bids we had received for landscaping our front and backyard. People in my neighborhood have also said that the work they provide is subpar. When I asked that they send me details for the bid so I could try to figure out a way to possibly make it work, they said they would not unless I committed to using them, which I of course would not feel comfortable with given that they had already provided such a high quote.

PS- their reply to my review is very telling. 1) the exact words they told me were "If you wish to continue with our involvement, we would require a signed Letter of Intent for the construction phase. " And when I wrote a review about it here, the reply was "No one has said we do subpar work. Putting a statement out like this. I will have to have my legal team get with you. " Do yourself a favor and hire people who know what true customer service is and do not have questionable work and ethics

Connor Burgwald was so thoughtful and thorough when beginning our design! He was personable and professional! He took all our considerations into account and gave incredible feedback and recommendations for our desired vision. We recommend Environmental Designs to all.

Terrific crew on our new home landscaping project. Reliable, creative and accommodating to our needs.
Project included drainage, irrigations system, sod and extensive scrubs, flowers and trees as well as hardscaping and placement of large boulders.
Of all our subcontractors used to build the house - the EDI crew was at the top.

We did a backyard kitchen and patio and front yard tiered gardens. EDI is among the most professional teams I have worked with at my home. The attention to detail, high quality of the design and the work, and the regular communication were first rate. Kyle was a great partner in the design and Nico and his team are true craftsmen. If you want to build a forever space - they are your team!

Zero quality. There to get paid NOT do a good job. Stained, messy, tire tracked, grass/smashed mud + dirt covered un-walkable sidewalks whenever these guys roll up! Standing around the truck laughing and joking is where to find them! Their work or lack thereof at my apartment complex is a joke. Every car gets covered in a thick layer of fertilizer showing zero care/effort for quality work.

Kyle, Wayne, and the crew did an excellent job from start to finish. This is the 3rd time we’ve used environmental designs and they’ve been handled everything from navigating HOAs to executing the design with skill and professionalism. Thank you for a great finished product!

EDI has beautified my yard and kept it in amazing shape, adapting to fit our needs as they have evolved. Kyle provides thoughtful, sustainable design. (I constantly receive compliments from passersby.) Jerry and his crew are diligent and professional, starting early and staying late to finish the job. Donovan, Joe and their team have an eye for detail, leaving no weed unpulled. Thanks EDI!

We've just used Environmental Designs for the 3rd time and as with the first two projects, this one was phenomenal as well. Each time, Kyle (the architect) has created a plan to exceed our expectations and Wayne and team executed on the plan perfectly with a front yard refresh that rivals those found in magazines. The first job they did was so good that it was the first photo in our listing when we sold that house.

Connor walked us through the design process, listened to our ideas, and created something beautiful and importantly stayed with in our budget.
