Environmental Designs has worked with us over the past 6 years in landscaping our brand new property from scratch. They worked with us in figuring out what would work best for our taste and property. They honored any warranty we have on plants that may not have survived the first year. They also have been great to work with hard scape and always are able to answer any questions we have.

Kyle at Environmental Designs absolutely crushed it. He was dialed‑in from day one—super attentive, detail‑oriented, and clearly passionate about his craft. Our once‑ordinary yard is now an outdoor oasis: a stunning three‑tier waterfall, perfectly set flagstone, and lush grass that feels like carpet (huge win with a newborn in the house).

Up front, Kyle blended a smart hybrid xeriscape around our maple to take advantage of the CO rebate program, and it looks fantastic while keeping water use low.

Not to mention he was super conscious around cost, even recommending going direct for the simpler parts of the project that I could manage myself (where to put flower beds, sod, loose cobble) and saved me a boatload.

Nestled just north of Boulder, Kyle and EDI were hired to design and build a newly installed 1 acre family home featuring a mountain-view blend of natural beauty and meticulous design. The project features 50+ carefully selected trees and shrubs — from towering Colorado blue spruces and hydrangea, Lavendar and graceful Aspens — that provide year-round interest and privacy. Four large flower planters, filled with perennials such as colorful succulents, ornamental grasses, add seasonal color and structure.

The smartphone app controlled 21 zone sprinkler system was set up with EDI input ensuring each planting bed, tree, shrub, water fountain and four expansive natural grass areas receives precise irrigation. These lush grass zones, nestled throughout the property, offer soft, usable lawns while blending into the native planting palette. Landscape lighting with programmable timers highlights key features—accentuating tree trunks, planters, and walkways—creating an enchanting evening ambiance.

To prevent flooding from heavy rains or snowmelt, underground runoff piping discreetly channels excess water away from foundational areas, preserving soil stability and plant health. My partner and I are thrilled with how seamlessly the system integrates the home’s outdoor-heavy aesthetics and function. The irrigation, lighting, and drainage require minimal upkeep, allowing us to enjoy a resilient, low maintenance landscape that flourishes through the seasons. This comprehensive design adds to the transformation of our home into a serene, sustainable and environmentally-responsible oasis.

The Environmental Design team transformed our new build dirt lot into a mountain modern haven. We worked in two phases, hardscape and trees in the Fall and planting and gardens in the Spring.

Joey and Travis listened carefully to our needs and designed a beautiful yard with natural boulder berms (instead of retaining walls) that form beautiful gardens and space for trees. A mix of river rocks and granite create texture and interest in the yard and rock riverbeds integrate seamlessly with grass, trees, and garden areas. Joey carefully selected perennial plants to provide beauty through the seasons and mature perfectly into the space while being dog friendly.

Jerry, Nico and teams were great to work with! They were professional, highly skilled, and attentive to every detail during installation. They worked with us in the yard to adjust placements of plants and checked in throughout the process to get our thoughts. It was fun to see progress each day and the yard come to life.

The teams truly partnered with us on the projects and created a space we love and enjoy spending time in. They worked with us on the budget and suggested ways to stay within our range. Environmental Design delivered both expert design and meticulous installation. Highly recommend!

My HOA went back to EDI in October so at this time I can only address snow removal.
They have been good at shoveling and plowing. But they have charged us for ice slicer. Two of the times they did not apply any where near the amount they charged us for. One time they were applying ice slicer when there wasn't enough snow to shovel (two inches) or plow (three inches). They said they would not bill for it, but they did.
We have not had o e snowstorm this winter that would require ice slicer.
Hopefully they will be better with landscaping charges.

The planning process, design, installation, and follow-up Environmental Designs provided has been remarkable. Emma contributed real artistry to the layout and was also able to work collaboratively with our own input. Her knowledge of adaptability and compatibility of various plant and tree options ensured the success of our foliage over the past twelve months. Wayne, Lyle, and the team were responsive and a pleasure to work with throughout. Concealing irrigation hoses wasn't easy, but the whole project was relatively affordable with the warranties and year follow-up service. Now every day we look out our windows, the landscaping sparks joy.

Environmental Designs it top of the top. Emma has amazing vision and attention to detail. Nico and his crew were absolutely incredible. The only surprise was how the results exceeded our expectations! On budget, always on time and always available. Looking forward to our next project with them.

Joseph and the Environmental Designs team transformed our backyard into a beautiful more usable space for our family. Joseph used his design eye to make the space functional and eye catching, plus he planned for many native plants with low upkeep! Once an eyesore, our patio is now a perfect space for friends and family to relax. Wayne and Nico kept the job on track as much as possible during the unpredictable winter weather, and were responsive to correcting some brick work as the project came to a close. Joseph has reached out to help us keep the new plants and grass healthy through the year; it’s clear the team stands by their work. I would use Environmental Designs again, and would recommend them to friends as well.

The Environmental Designs team conducted a year-long renovation of our 1-acre property in 2024–25, including an existing pool. The project involved major demolition (old pool decks, retaining walls, shrubs, concrete patio, water feature) and a complete rebuild with new retaining walls, pool deck, fire pit, irrigation, sod, trees, and hundreds of plantings.

Emma Jacobs, our lead landscape designer, was a joy to work with—her plant knowledge, design eye, and attention to detail brought our vision to life. We also appreciated designer Kyle Trembley, along with the construction team led by Nicolas Martinez and Lyle Fair. The onsite crew—Alfredo, Jose, and Alejandro—were meticulous and hardworking.

When challenges arose (as they always do), the EDI team was responsive, fair, and solution-oriented. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend Environmental Designs!

Environmental Design handled the full landscape plan for our new build in Denver, and the result has been excellent. They’re knowledgeable, professional, and don’t cut corners. The work was done right, and they’ve stood behind everything, warranties included. Their plant selection was smart and very interesting, my yard looks great throughout the year with different things coming into bloom as the seasons change. It’s clear they think long-term, not just about how it looks on day one.

Cesar, his father and team worked so hard in clearing out almost our whole backyard in order to install sod, extend our backyard patio and set up for further backyard landscaping. Cesar is professional, easy to work with and always on time! He doesn't leave until the job is done and checks in along the way to make sure both parties are on same page. I would recommend Wolf Trail Construction not only because they do do great work but are also fair in price.

We have used Wolf Trail Construction multiple times over a three year period. The father son duo of Cesar (and their team) are always professional, perform excellent work, and establish a meaningful relationship with their clients.
