David is without a doubt the most skilled arborist I have even seen in action. His skill and safety is very evident watching him make a 60 foot pine disappear into dust.

Don't try to do this stuff yourself! save yourself a new roof and have David and his crew come help you

Steve and his crew have been helpful with my trees a couple times and I would highly recommend them and will use them again when needed. Steve was quick to respond, show up for an assessment, schedule the service needed and they thoroughly cleaned up after the job.

Steve and the gang at Elk Mountain Tree Services just completed a fairly sizable project for us. It involved taking down a lot of dead trees, cleaning up and chipping a substantial amount of downed timber/ground fuel, and removal of stumps. They were a pleasure to work with. The team was very professional, flexible, and thorough. On top of that they were reasonably priced. We will definitely be using them again and would recommend them highly.

Steve and his crew did an amazing job. I scheduled back in June for a September/October tree removal so we could enjoy the last of the tree through the summer. His scheduling was perfect for us. His crew was very careful not to damage our fence or garden. Yard was cleaned up better than when they initially arrived. Excellent company.

We've been using Elk Mountain Tree Services since 2019. Last month they did a phenomenal job felling five large trees for us. Steve and his crews have always been completely professional, reliable, honest, and are great communicators. Scheduling is simple, and Steve will make sure the scope of work gets completed to your satisfaction.

A great crew of guys took down several large trees for us which were quite close to our cabin. They did an excellent job cleaning up too. We will absolutely use them again in the future if necessary!

We were so suprised how good and clean the land looked when they were done. They made difficult access to a steep slope behind our house and removed the marked trees. When they were done you could barely tell they had been there. Little erosion on the land. Other trees and our house unharmed. Communication and execution were top shelf. We were so glad we chose Elk Mountain Tree Services for our wildfire mitigation!

We are so impressed by all of our interactions with Elk Mountain Tree Service. Somehow, Steve is always available to talk through the details of tree removal. He responds quickly to all questions. We are a deck construction company and we often need to have trees removed before we do our work. Steve and his team make this seamless. They come in and do what needs to be done quickly and professionally. They are a joy to have on a job-site as they communicate well with everyone and they are very friendly. Especially in the case of a technical tree removal, I would always use Elk Mountain Tree Service!

First time user of Elk mountain tree service and I was quite impressed. I had two large aspens in a very tight space between my house and also house electric and cable lines. Steve and his crew safely cut down the trees and removed them. Also a great job cleaning up. I will definitely call them when needed in the future.

After the last wind storm, we decided it was time to remove a large tree that was leaning towards our house. The removal was very technical. The guys did an outstanding job. I highly recommend.

Kasey did an outstanding job. He did everything we asked of him and more. He was hard working and takes the job he is doing very seriously. We will have him back every 3 months. In the past we have not had a lot of luck with window washing folks, but he in the exception to the norm. He also cleared and cleaned out gutters. Thanks Kasey.

I totally understand that lawn services are understaffed and overwhelmed in the spring. I requested a quote for work, Foothills called me back the same day. But when I mentioned I was waiting on other quotes as well, they told me they did not want to come out to even quote me as it would be a “waste of his time” - he wouldn’t want to do my job anyway. I only have some mulching, a few bushes to replace, and yard clean up. I highly recommend calling another company that might have time for your project. Maybe shut down your online service request.

We recently moved back to Colorado in the mountains. We have a very long driveway up a steep hill. We were expecting a furniture delivery in the morning and unfortunately it snowed overnight. We love the snow but it makes it hard for delivering to our house. Kasey from Foothills Ground Control was nice enough to plow our shared driveway so we could get our furniture. Thanks Kasey, it was very much appreciated.

Sometimes your eyes are bigger than your stomach.....and sometimes our eyes are bigger than our landscaping projects. Such was our case!

Kasey came out and gave us a VERY fair estimate for the work we needed done and then partnered with us to move forward. My husband is an engineer and I am program manager so we both can pick things apart we would have done differently but this team was METICULOUS and took great pride in the work they performed.

They offer a variety of services from yard clean up to aerating to window cleaning! We will be having them back vs. doing it ourselves in the future!
