Wanted to support local small business. Ed came out 7 times over 5 months and couldn't repair my icemaker. Finally gave up. Told me he'd hook me up with the local frigidaire people to call. Never heard back from him w a simple ph. number. 5 mos. no ice. $250 wasted. (he needs to replace his grandkid for service tech as well). Can't give a good report.

Was able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days. He came on time fixed the washer. Had to order parts for drier. Said he expected them to take a week but shipping is unreliable. He was back in 6 days and fixed the drier and it runs great. Price was extremely reasonable. Very courteous and professional. Highly recommend.

Ed was perfectly on time and figured out our refrigerator problem immediately. His repairs were done with care and precision and he made sure he left us with a quality fix. He's great to talk to and very courteous as well. I highly recommend him!

I cannot say enough good things about Ed and his team at Hometown Appliance. My GE washer went out, and they made no fewer than 4 trips (maybe more - I lost count) to my house until it was fixed. To say the repair was challenging would be an understatement but the entire time, Ed and his guys gave me the assurance that they would indeed get this fixed and kept me informed at all points during the process. Thank you Ed!

I will only use Ed and his employees from now on! Ed listened to everything I had to say about my attempts to repair a cheap refrigerator myself. He was patient and ready to answer all my questions without interrupting. In the end and after a home visit my refrigerator needed a new condenser. Ed explained that the cost of the repair wasn’t worth the $1,700 fix for my appliance and advised me to replace it. Because he didn’t fix my refrigerator he wouldn’t accept payment. He could have gleefully replaced the condenser and charged me but gave his honest professional opinion and went without the business. I’ll be returning when I break something else!
