After months of troubleshooting an electrical issue with my HVAC thermostat, CEC saved the day. I was referred to Dan's company via my trustworthy HVAC contractor who promised that CEC would run new wire to the furnace for a reasonable price. After describing the issue to Dan (owner of CEC), he sent Mathew to assess the situation. Dan explained that Mathew's HVAC background makes him perfect for my situation. My wife was the only one home and was concerned about being able to communicate the exact issue and communicate between Mathew and me. Fortunately, he took the time to take pictures of everything to explain his diagnosis and fix. Mathew also showed my wife the cause and fix so she would understand.
A few hours later, my furnace stopped heating, which was concerning on an evening with sub-5-degree temperatures. I called Dan who immediately got in a truck and made his way to our house.
To my surprise, Dan picked up Mathew on the way over within an hour. Both spent the evening troubleshooting the wire connectivity and making the necessary repairs, mindful of minimizing any drywall repair (none is needed). They were adamant about cleaning the very little mess made during the repairs. When it was all done, I was not charged anything extra!
I have worked with many contractors in the Denver area professionally and personally. CEC is by far the best company for any residential or commercial electrical job. You will be treated with respect and honesty and have peace of mind.

CEC was the electrical contractor on a heat pump installation on our property today. Besides doing a fine job on the electrical work for the heat pump, when asked if they could look at a dysfunctional baseboard heater in the walkway, they made the time to inspect and diagnose the problem and recommended replacing the unit. Once this was agreed to, they very quickly procured a replacement unit and installed it in no time. Thank you to Dan and his electricians for going the extra mile.

Dan and his team are incredible! My husband and I recently moved into a new home, and they really went above and beyond to help with various projects and improvements around the house. They were personable, attentive, and very knowledgeable. I genuinely will miss having them around! We will use them for all of our future work and houses - no doubt about it!

SAME DAY PANEL REPLACEMENT
My electrical panel needed to be upgraded. I called around to a few companies and found the price to be kind of high. I was speaking to my neighbor about my panel, and he highly recommended Colorado Electric. I called the following day and spoke with Dan (the owner), he was able to come out the following day and walk the job. Dan explained everything that the job would entail and gave me a competitive quote compared to the two other companies I previously spoke with. He also said they would take care of the permit and the inspection, (which passed with flying colors). Dan stated the work would be completed in one day, but the other two companies said it would take 2-3 days to complete.
We scheduled the work for about a week later. Two electricians showed up and were very professional. They explained the work they were going to do and how long the power was going to be off. After that, they got straight to work, I was really impressed with their quality of work and their efficiency in completing the panel replacement in the same day. Both electricians were very friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after themselves.
I would absolutely recommend Colorado Electric to friends and family and use them in the future.

They were very professional, friendly, and answered all of our questions and concerns really well. They gave us a few options for routing the power and did an excellent job overall. This is my go-to electrical company. They are great to work with and I've used them for years. They are very honest, reasonably priced, and meticulous in their work. Whether it is a big or small project, I HIGHLY recommend them for any electrical work that needs to be done.
