They removed a massive elm right next to my house, using a specialized crane. James is easy to work with. Fair price. Highly recommend.

James and Matt did a wonderful job clearing out ALL the dead and dying branches in our Hackberry tree. The squirrels have really enjoyed the bark of this tree and have done a ton of damage.
James and Matt said the tree has many years left if we get rid of the dead stuff. I really wish I had done a before and after picture. I feel like the tree is smiling now. They also cleaned up the yard after all the tree debris.

The owner and his team are AWESOME! They are reasonable in price, prompt, and know how to effectively care for trees. When appropriate (i.e., for Ash Borer treatment), they call on PhDs and other scientific teams to tailor treatments to maximally protect the trees. Local, nice, cost-effective, prompt, and smart--what more can you ask for?

James and Matt are a terrific team. They pruned two 60 foot ash trees with great care and precision. As professional arborist's we also learned a lot from them regarding the continued care of our trees.

James orchestrated a phenomenal team to handle the complex and potentially dangerous situation in my backyard with numerous 50+ year old mostly dead elm trees overhanging lots of power lines, sheds, and threatening a neighbor's house. Many big name competitors said that this job was too complex for them, but not for James. He even beat the prices of the few who were willing to do the job. We explored all options to save these trees, since James really does want to save trees if it makes sense.
James called in the A-Team to make sure the job was done right. This included an amazing crane that was able to grab huge sections of the tree and cut it with a chainsaw simultaneously. This crane was able to be parked on the street and bring these sections over the top of the house! Not only did they tackle that during a windstorm, but they even managed to save some healthy cherry trees that we didn't even know were there. Since he did such an amazing job on this tree removal, we also plan to use him to plant some trees or shrubs in the future. We give him our highest recommendation!!!

You definitely need James and Matt to do your tree work!!! I received 4 estimates for BIG Cottonwood removals, a couple of Maple trims, and other miscellaneous tree work. Not only did they have a reasonable estimate these guys are Arborists. So you have trained and experienced people working on your trees not some random guy who hacks them up. They showed up on time, did some pretty intense trimming, cleaned up, and they are personable, smart guys. I have found my tree company and will use them again and again!!!!

Great service and quick response time. Just had James and his crew cut down a tree and prune another. The job involved some tricky spaces around internet/electrical wiring as well as craning over the house. Everything went great and James worked with me the whole time. Will definitely use them again!

James and his crew did a great job trimming my huge maple and Locust trees. They don't over trim and the trees look beautiful. I also had them remove a tree that was impeding the growth and health of another tree. I ended up keeping the mulch from my trees or my beds which saved me some $$ as well (since I didn't have to buy mulch!) I highly recommend them!

I am picky about contractors and Arborist Prime did fantastic work. I am very pleased with the Ash tree pruning and how efficiently they removed several dead 25-30' Aspen trees very close to the house. The job couldn't have been better - superior service at an affordable price. James is very knowledgeable and he is a professional. I will definitely choose them again for our tree care.

James was great to work with. For a large and varied amount of trees, he took the time to explain what he recommended, and why, answering all my questions along the way (which will help me down the road for minor pruning I can do on my own). James and Russell were friendly and professional and efficient - and just good guys! Would call on them again in a heartbeat.

Highly recommend Arborist Prime for your tree trimming needs. They did a great job removing/trimming the trees in our front yard. One thing I really appreciated was that they left our property completely clean of any tree trimmings. I worked with James on this project and he was very professional and made the entire project super easy. I did my due diligence and got 3 different estimates for this project. During this process, Arborist Prime stood out to me because they were the only company that provided me with a written estimate and proof of insurance. They also were very responsive and got the estimate/work done in a timely manner. Of the 3 companies I spoke with, Arborist Prime was the only company that showed up when they said they would for the estimate. This project went extremely smooth from start to finish and I have absolutely zero complaints. Pricing was reasonable and fair as well especially when you factor in the customer service the provide. James and his crew are awesome to work with and provide outstanding service. I have used them on multiple occasions at multiple properties for; storm clean up, tree trimming, tree removal, and tree planting. They always do excellent work for a fair price and leave the property cleaner and tidier than they found it. I have recommended to many friends and all have had the same experience.

James helped identify and diagnose 2 mature, 80-100 ft, but sadly dying/hazardous trees on our property. He removed the trees with surgical precision, which was all the more impressive given their size and challenging locations (near power lines, nearly inaccessible to heavy machinery, etc.). The job was so tough that other arborists I got quotes from outright told me they weren't up for it! Through the whole process he was professional, communicative, and fairly-priced. Looking forward to working with him again to maintain our other healthy trees.

Highly recommend this team. I had two trees that grew into each other and wanted one cut down and the other trimmed. They did a great job on both trees, cleaned up the entire site and were very responsive. Solid group, will certainly be using them again!

We recently relocated from out of State and struggled to find an honest tree service. James 5 star reviews actually helped me pick up the phone to call him. Within an hour, James came by to talk through the job.

We had 2 trees removed and 2 more trimmed. This job required a large crane and my entire neighborhood came out to watch them work. Everyone was pretty amazed at the speed and accuracy of the crew. By 1pm the entire job was completed.

Since then I have also called James to provide help as an arborist for the health of our new trees. He didn’t hesitate to come over to offer his advice.

James and his team were a great help addressing the removal of a very large tree. They communicated well before and during the job, were prompt, and took great care to safely bring the tree down in a tricky spot between two buildings and bordering a fence. Not a single picket was disturbed! Beyond that, they're just plain nice and interesting people and I won't hesitate to bring them out again should the need arise.

I had a tree that was overgrown and running into my drain system so it needed to be taken down. The Arborist Prime crew was hard working and easy to work with. James was easy to reach and easy to get ahold of. Additionally James and his crew honored his pricing despite a couple changes I requested at the last minute. James came to prune my ash trees and to treat them for emerald ash bore. He was efficient and left my property neat and tidy. And my trees look great. I definitely recommend this business.
