Had a relatively minor problem with a breaker plug malfunction. Sam (Excel service technician) diagnosed the problem and repaired it relatively quickly. He went above and beyond by improving access to the outlet by correcting a mounting braket that had cracked. He also took a look at our breaker panel and determined it was functioning properly. Sam was helpful, knowledgeable, professional and easy to talk to. I am looking to have Excel Electric handle installation of a back-up generator. Great company to work with.

I needed a 240Volt line added from my Service Box in the garage. The electrician, Ken, came out to estimate what could be done and how long it would take. Several Breakers had to be moved or replaced to make room in the Box. The job went very well and was completed in fewer hours than the estimate. After asking about the billing, Excel gave us a discount on the estimate. I enjoy watching any contractors that I employ and like to learn from their experience.

Excel installed my type 2 EV charger and did a great job!

I was able to get on their schedule quickly and then they even moved up my appointment when they had a slot open up. The team they sent out was polite, helpful and possessed a "can do" attitude when tasked with hanging a delicate and difficult to deal with chandelier. They put down drop cloths and made several height adjustments I requested. I highly recommend Excel Electric.

We've just wrapped up a significant remodel of our home in Fort Collins; Excel did all the electrical work on the project and we've been really happy with them. We had our final inspection yesterday and they had Scott here to make sure that everything went smoothly, which it did. We also appreciated that when there was an issue with our new hard wired smoke detectors, they sent Tim up to replace them, no questions asked. Excellent customer service! We're in the early planning stages of the next "phase" of our remodel and we'll be calling Excel for the electrical work!

Great crew! Ryan and apprentice, Lucas, upgraded my 1950-something breaker panel. They’re professional, easy to work with, and left things tidy when they left my home. Shout out to Samantha in the office, as well — she was awesome in helping with all city permitting and scheduling. I’d definitely recommend Excel!

Excel Electric was awesome. My main breaker was nuisance tripping. I had 3 companies look at the problem. 2 companies recommended replacing the breaker or replacing the whole panel. Excel investigated further and discovered that ground settling had caused the buried electric feeders to pull on the main breaker, compromising the connection. Excel relieved the tension in the feeders and I didn't have to replace the breaker or panel. Relieving the tension was also an important safety repair. Excel respected the urgency of the issue and did the work within a week.

Great electrical company. Jason came out and was able to provide a cost effective solution for our EV charging needs. Honest and reputable company. Wish they were still in Niwot though.

Excel came out for an estimate to replace bathroom and laundry room exhaust fans, was competitive with their bid (and knew they did great work from previous projects), and were able to complete the work 2 weeks to the day from bidding the project. Ryan came out at 8 and was finished by 3. Great cleanup (wouldn't know they were there!). They even hauled off the old fans. Completely satisfied and definitely recommend!!
