Fast, professional, friendly and clean. Excel did a fantastic job helping button up some repair work and did it quickly. It’s my second time using them and I’ll keep calling them back for future work.

Tim is the absolute best. He takes time to explain everything and show you what he's doing. We have been using Excel for years and have no plans on changing.

I had a fantastic experience with Excel Electric. Ryan came by quickly to provide a very reasonable quote and offered thoughtful insight on the electrical plans for our basement project. From the start, he was professional, knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand what we needed.

When it came time to do the work, Ryan was right on schedule. He was efficient, respectful, and delivered high-quality results. I did not expect the electrician to get started right away so that was nice. Took out the headache of gfci tripping when dishwasher ran and coffee maker or toaster was plugged in. Mostly pleased w the work, but, still likely need another breaker swapped out as toaster tripped it. Please follow up regarding a quote on my request to install outlets in basement. This was all clarified while electrician was onsite 6 days ago. Thank you.

We miss Ken who helped our family for decades. Thankfully Tim showed up to help replace smoke detector batteries and educate me about the breaker panel. He helped me understand what was what on the panel as well as how to insert batteries in the detectors, which can be tricky. Thank you Excel Electric.

Excel electric did an excellent job on my project. Ben and Kyle did an exceptional job, problem solved when necessary and kept the project moving forward. They also passed final inspection on the first attempt!

We had to have an ev outlet installed in our garage with our electrical box located outside of the garage on the opposite end of the house.Jason was our electrician. He was highly knowledgeable, respectful and on time. He took the time to answer all of my concerns and questions. He even came to work outside in the pouring rain. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and neat. The price was reasonable for the extent of work. I would definitely go with Jason again for any future work!

The power connected to my fridge and a few small appliances suddenly went out. I couldn't see a breaker issue so I called Excel. Matt patiently walked me through some steps to locate the problem. All is well and Matt saved us a whole lot of $$ for what would have been an emergency after-hours call. We will be reaching out to Excel when we're ready to schedule some bigger, upcoming projects. Roman was very helpful, trustworthy, knowledgeable and on time! He was able to quickly find the issue with a switch that wasn’t working and fix the problem right away. Explained everything clearly and made sure everything was working correctly. Would definitely recommend!

Update:
I will be moving my 2 star review to a 5 star review. After sharing my frustrations with the company, I decided to give Excel Electric one final opportunity to complete the work. I’m happy to say they came back out and were able to resolve everything in one day. They brought additional team members, which made the process much more efficient, and all remaining items were completed.

While the scheduling and staffing challenges were frustrating, I truly appreciate that they followed through and ultimately got everything taken care of. Excel has some great employees and everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. I’m glad we were able to get everything resolved.

I was referred to Excel Electric by a neighbor and initially looked forward to working with the company. The first electrician who came out was friendly and knowledgeable and was able to repair one of many issues

Unfortunately, due to the holidays, my follow-up appointment was pushed out by about a month, which I completely understood. During the prior visit, the electrician had already purchased the necessary supplies and staged them around the house in preparation for the remaining work.

On the day of the rescheduled appointment, I received a text stating that the electrician had called out and there was no replacement available, as the other electricians had left the company. I was understanding of the situation and agreed to reschedule for the following week.

On the next appointment date, I received no call and later received a text that my appointment had been moved to the following day. After contacting the company, I was informed that the electrician had quit and moved out of state. I was told the work would be completed the next day. I was completely understanding and agreed to the reschedule for the following day.

Two electricians arrived and reviewed the scope of work. They completed minor repairs under my sink and rewired some outlets in the washroom. However, they were onsite for less than two hours and stated they were done for the day. Several outlets and switches that had been clearly staged and boxed were not addressed or evaluated. As a result, the primary work remained incomplete after the third appointment.

Due to the repeated delays and incomplete work, I decided to move forward with another company, as this postponement impacted my ability to move into my new home. I was informed that no further appointments were being scheduled until February 1st due to staffing shortages.
