We purchased a house with aluminum wiring and were concerned about the fire hazard. We contacted several electricians before choosing Peterson Electric. Peterson Electric didn't give the cheapest bid but was very thorough. We were glad we chose them because they took the time and care to do the work right. Joshua explained each stage of the job in detail, so we knew exactly what work was done. Many unexpected challenges arose during the job. Peterson Electric stayed late and worked on holidays to try to keep to our agreed upon timeline. In the end, we are confident in the work done and feel safe in the home. The folks at Peterson Electric were nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. We need some work done on our circuit box, we wanted to install a treadmill, and fix some existing problems with the electrical work done in the house. Josh was amazing to work with and communicated well throughout the process. We are very happy and satisfied with the work he completed in our home.

Peterson Electric has been consistent and professional through every step of our projects. We originally had Joshua out for a small fix on our porch light and some internal switches. When we began building out our basement we didn't hesitate to call Peterson Electric again. Our project has stretched out over the months, but Joshua has been flexible with scheduling and consistent with his work. Our basement electrical work passed inspection the first time because Joshua knows the codes inside and out and does a clean, well thought out job.

I called Peterson Electric after lightning had hit our house and knocked the power out. Joshua and Alisha arrived at our house shortly after my call and during Joshua's investigation of the damage, he discovered a small, smoldering fire in our attic. Without hesitation he climbed into the smoke filled space and put it out. Shortly after we had the Fire Dept on site to assist. Joshua and Alisha stayed for 2 more hours as we waited for the Fire Dept to conclude their work and allow us back into the home. Once Joshua could resume his problem solving, he quickly got the lights on, assessed the condition of our appliances and HVAC systems, and fixed a few blown outlet problems along the way. All total they spent nearly 3.5 hours at our home, stretching into the evening hours, for what was to Joshua and Alisha about 40 minutes of actual work. Our gratitude goes out to the Joshua for his quick actions in dealing with a fire problem that could have resulted in far more damage than there was. Also their professionalism and expertise in diagnosing the problems from the lightning strike got us back up and running quickly. I will not hesitate to recommend Peterson Electric to anyone. We had an excellent experience with Peterson Electric. Joshua responded quickly to our call, and maintained outstanding communication throughout the process as we waited for things we had ordered, requiring some rescheduling. He explained exactly what he was doing and why, and offered additional safety information as appropriate. Josh and Alisha communicated with us effectively, helped us think through some of our plans in the basement remodel, and accommodated changes late in the game without hesitation. Peterson Electric was a recommendation from a handyman I have worked with. Joshua and Alisha have been a saving grace. They replaced my electric panel and updating switches and outlets (history of warm walls). Even to work in updated lights and fixtures. We called PE late one night when we were having power issues and they showed up within 2 hours, accurately diagnosed the problem and spent the time to explain it to us. Joshua is extremely knowledgeable and was able to put us at ease in finding a solution to our electrical nightmare. He, Alisha, and family are some of the most professional and hardest working people you will find. We were blown away at what they were able to accomplish in our difficult to work with 1908 home. I had Peterson Electric out for light switches that stopped working. Josh and his wife were super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain in layman’s terms the basics of wiring, what the issue was and how it was resolved. These guys will definitely be my go to!

He has helped me with a variety of electrical projects including wiring for an electric car charger, bringing underground electricity out to our barn for our donkeys, and installing outlets. A long overdue review for Peterson Electric....
Josh and his wife did the electrical work in our basement back in December. We are extremely happy with the work they did for us. My husband is a retired contractor and is very particular and hard to please. Josh is very knowledgeable and was able to get us just what we needed. PE was punctual, neat and clean, and got the work done in a timely manner. Thanks for the professional work; it's hard to find these days.

Day of the repairs he showed up on time. I showed him and his daughter my house and where the issues were. He quickly diagnosed an outlet and switch. Then they quickly installed a new ceiling fan. They were careful in the house; putting down canvas drop cloths prior to ladders and performing work. They were so tidy you never would have known they were here.
