Arik and his crew were fantastic. We had a challenging project to repair our landscaping. We received a recommendation for SolMauna and they exceeded our expectations. SolMauna cleared snow to keep on track. Arik was great at communicating progress and asking approval for any changes. I’d definitely hire them again.

We totally enjoyed working with Arik and the crew of SolMauna Creation + Design. The finished work is beyond our expectations.
They put in a beautiful new fence along with front, back and side yards with many new trees, plantings, sod and irrigation. They also repurposed 100-year-old sidewalk stones to create our front walk plus patios and steps. Arik and the crew were professional as they implemented our ideas and made them even better. This is the second time we've worked with Arik and his team at Sol Mauna. Yet again, we are astounded! The design is custom--Arik does a great job of listening to his client's needs and wants and tailoring the design to create yards that look like no other. He's great at working within your budget and suggesting ways that you could save costs or where to splurge and gain the most. The team is FAST and thoughtful. They do all the little things to make sure that your landscaping will last and that you can live around your house as peaceably as possible while work is going on. We already have plans to work with Arik and Sol Mauna again to xeriscape our front yard. I can't wait!

The guys did a fabulous job on my yard. They listened to what I wanted and gave me something even better. The team doing the work were hard workers and very polite. All my neighbors were impressed with both the work as it was being done and how it turned out.

Arik designed and installed the landscape around my home in Loveland over a period of 8 years. He has been great at listening carefully to my initial ideas and working out a plan that fit in my budget. His vision of what could be done exceeded my expectation every time. Arik and his crew came back in spring of 2019 and did the major cleanup when my yard was featured on the Loveland Garden tour in 2019.

Arik and his team did an amazing job. The retainer wall they designed and built exceeded my expectations and hopes. They reused all of the timber from an old garden box that the wood was still in good condition and made a garden box behind our retainer wall and it is amazing. Definitely will use them again for future landscaping needs. Thank you.

My family had the great fortune to meet Arik and become clients of SolMauna Creation +Design. As our family is not always on site in Colorado, Arik patiently met many of us in turn and worked hard to communicate progress using all available technologies when we were not there.

The company's work added a great deal of beauty and safety to our home. The rock work that is meant to deter fire risks enhanced the property more than we even hoped for. The buried drainage system and grading work will help with erosion. The pad they created for our new shed is level and sturdy.

Working with SolMauna Creation + Design on the xeriscape garden for my front lawn was such a positive experience, and the finished landscape is a joy for my household and neighborhood. Arik and his team made the project easy for me, and I am incredibly pleased with the process and result!

I've worked with Arik on several occasions. He and his crew helped us to landscape a front yard of our home. He's an excellent plantsman with knowledge of CO native and xeric scape designs. Good guy with a great attitude and work ethic.

When my husband and I bought our first home and it came on an undeveloped lot covered in overgrown weeds and with serious drainage issues, we were not sure where to start. Luckily, Arik and his SolMauna team were amazing. Arik was able to help us envision the possibilities for the lot, listened carefully to our likes and dislikes, and created a design plan that we loved. This was a BIG job, with lots of hardscaping, a retaining wall to build, concrete steps to pour, trees to remove, and many plants and grass to add. Arik and his crew worked tirelessly and respectfully, our neighbors even all mentioned how much they appreciated SolMauna compared to other landscaping companies in the neighborhood that were less respectful. When finished, Arik walked through everything with us, making sure we were 100% happy and immediately addressing the few minor changes we requested. We are now absolutely in love with our outdoor oasis- it has completely transformed the appearance of our home for the better!

I was in the demo phase of a landscape renovation when family health issues prevented me from being able to continue. Arik and his very hard-working crew did a fantastic job transforming our mess into something wonderful. He proved to be a good listener who was able to interpret my somewhat vague preferences and vision and make it a reality. When we ran into a material shortage issue that derailed the original plan, Arik came up with creative workarounds that resulted in something much better than what I originally envisioned and requested, and still met the original budget and timeline. Arik, Virgilio, and crew were extremely responsive and easy to work with, and completely exceeded my expectations in every respect. I'll be recommending SolMauna to anyone who asks me.

We cannot say enough good about Arik and his team! We met with 4 different landscape designers before meeting with Arik. When he came he patiently listened to our priorities and hopes for the back yard and then brainstormed ideas with us within that framework. Our backyard is VERY sloped which presented some unique challenges. But Arik and his team did a brilliant job in creating and installing a beautiful xeriscape plan. We are SO happy with the finished “product”. Our backyard space is beautiful, functional, easy to maintain, and such a peaceful space for our family. We couldn’t be happier. He was easy to communicate with, was often on-site to oversee installation, was patient with any questions we had, and was reasonable and transparent in his cost assessment. We highly recommend him. (I would add that we found Arik, through a Google search and read these many 5 star reviews before calling him. Now we are adding our own 5 star review! He’s earned it!!)

We hired Arik, owner of SolMauna, to do our backyard landscaping for a newly built house. He came over looked at our yard and took the time to listen to us and what we wanted as well as our budget concerns. He took his time making sure he understood what we wanted and what he could provide. We felt like he really cared about his work and what we wanted, other landscapers spent 10 min or less looking, taking notes, and not really offering up much. Our yard was difficult as there was drainage grading right outside our door, he was able to plan a beautiful patio and rock design that didn't change the grading. Arik was very informative and able to provide set timelines and keep them. Once we received the design and the quote, within the time frame he provided, he was able to start in a few weeks. Him and his team was very professional and respectful while doing their work. Everyone was so nice and able to answer any questions I had. I am so happy we chose to go with Arik and SolMauna we are so happy with how our yard turned out. I would recommend him to anyone needing landscaping.
