Quality work that can't be beat. ABC landscaped our entire yard, including the addition of a beautiful water garden with accent fire, an arbor with patio, a new chef-quality outdoor kitchen, fire pit, lawn, and over 100 plants & trees . Both the design and execution are top notch--people see the yard and just say, "Wow." We couldn't be happier with how things turned out. The overall effect is tranquil and beautiful with the elements all flowing together perfectly.

1 Year Update: We are updating our original review and lowering it to 1 star based on the condition of our deck and patio one year after installation. Unfortunately, we’ve encountered several significant issues:
- The pavers beneath the deck stairs were not compacted, resulting in four of the six stringers no longer making contact with the ground.
- The deck itself has shifted and is now sloping away from the house and is no longer level.
- Several joints have shifted, impacting both the appearance and structural integrity of the space.

We hired ABC Landscaping for a significant project that included front and back patio work and replacing a small deck. We rely on reviews for our major purchases so I thought it was important to share our experience so others can make informed decisions as well.
We were initially told that the project would take 5-7 business days; it ended up extending to nearly two months.
One of the patios was specifically designed for a hot tub, and we confirmed the delivery date multiple times with both the staff and Michael, the owner. Unfortunately, the patio was not completed by the agreed date, forcing us to delay the hot tub delivery by a week. Despite repeated requests to have the pavers re-leveled, the patio still wasn't level when the hot tub arrived. While Michael did offer to fix the issue, by that time, the hot tub was already installed, filled with water, and connected to power, making the fix impractical.
Throughout the project, we encountered several issues that caused unnecessary stress. Our yard was often left in disarray with trash, water bottles, and fast food containers. Water hoses were left turned on, and broken bags of concrete were left on our driveway. The skill level of the employees varied significantly, which required us to monitor the work closely to ensure it was done correctly.
The most significant problem arose with the deck. The work was so poorly done that I had to research building codes and request the deck be redone twice. After the second attempt, I asked for another qualified company to come in and complete the deck. Although Michael did address my concerns and hired another company to finish the job, there are still major issues that remain unresolved. These include the concrete footer being buried about 8 inches underground, causing the wood post to also be underground, the beam not being centered on the footings, and improper waterproofing where the deck meets the house. Additionally, the frame of the deck was built too high, causing the deck boards to not sit flush with the house.
We are mostly satisfied with the patio work, but based on our experience, we would not hire ABC Landscaping again.

We have used ABC Landscaping for 2 major projects (concrete driveway and patio; major landscape update in the back yard to include drainage) in the past month and they were outstanding on both. They completed both on time and on budget, and even took care of some last second changes/updates we wanted without hesitation. We've already lined them up for a major spring project and have no doubt they will take care of what we need done. Highly recommend!!

Michael did an outstanding job. After consulting he advised a solution to our yard that solved two problems at a lower cost than just doing one of them standalone. The job was completed on time and under budget. I will definitely use his company again.

Paradise did an excellent job landscaping my yard 10 years ago. When it was time for maintenance, Paradise Landscaping was my first choice. Everything went well for this four day job - reasonable cost, always on time, quality work, mess free, and polite. My yard looks great again! Highly recommend.

Outstanding crew and company!

We have a large water feature that was full of slime and algae last year. I tried cleaning it but to no avail. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out the Paradise Outdoor Design and Landscaping would clean it for me. Kevin spent an entire day cleaning our water feature and did an amazing job. It looked brand new and exceeded my expectations. I am OCD about cleaniless so my expectations are high! I love this company. It's quality of work is always top notch.

My husband and I were soooo impressed with Paradise Outdoor Design and Landscaping. We wanted a very special water feature and they created one perfectly for us! We told them what we wanted as far as the location, size, water flow, curves and how many waterfalls (plus places for birds to take a bath!). We met first with the owner Darin, discussed our ideas, then meet with Ryan, project supervisor/designer, then we went to the stone yard with Ryan to pick out the larger boulders. We wanted to add LED lights and wanted to have the water flow on a 'dimmer switch' to be able to control the speed and sound of the water. The whole team did a great job and did it quickly, within a few days once ground broke. The crew, who was Cole, Thayer, Kevin and Airen did an amazing, very professional job and you could tell they really enjoy working with each other and love their job! They cleaned up the yard so well when they were done you could barely tell anyone had driven skidsters through our back yard! If we ever had questions, comments or requests we were treated with the utmost respect and were promised they would take care of us. It was so refreshing to work with true professionals who actually did more than promised! We have been enjoying our new fountain immensely! Thank you everyone at Paradise Outdoor Design!

Don't waste your time with this company. Extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional. I don't know how they stay in business.

Paradise Landscaping was doing work in our neighborhood and repeatedly parked a large enclosed trailer at the end of our driveway which blocked the view for us exiting. I called the owner of Paradise and explained that we had no way of seeing oncoming traffic. I also informed her that directly across the street there were houses under construction, where her 4 vehicles/dozers/trailer could be parked without infringing on any residents and she assured me they would move the trailer immediately. The workers came to out door and said they would not move the trailer as it would be dangerous for them to cross the street.

On the fourth day of Paradise's project they did park the trailer across the street as it benefited them due to the large pile of stone they dumped in the street and needed to distribute to complete the project. So apparently when it suited them they could park on the other side of the street and not infringe on our driveway and their employees could cross the street safely!

Very frustrating that this company was not concerned enough about OUR safety to correct the situation when brought to their attention on the first day.

On the fourth day

I hired Paradise to complete landscaping on a new house we are building, and Darin & Co were super accommodative to numerous schedule slips by my GC. The project turned out great, and Darin's team got numerous compliments by my GC for professionalism and willingness to help out with the overall project. Would recommend them to anyone.

I have extensive yard/patio/deck remodeling and yard landscaping, patios, outdoor kitchen, water feature and more to be completed. Due to bad luck with prior contractors requiring payment in full up front and not completing jobs, I wanted to stage my work to be sure the work will be completed timely and with quality. This company would not even schedule a time to come see the work that needs to be completed, or provide a bid, unless the cost will be a minimum of $10,000!!!! And I was told they are already booked out and not available until August. So, it seems the pandemic has had no effect on this company, and they do not need business. I am seeking estimates elsewhere and will have another company complete my work.

Worked with Darin and Chad for several months now and have found these guys to be the most conscientious , fair and easy to work with folks. They both are very well experienced !!! We inherited a disaster of a yard when we purchased our home. In that yard is a massive and complicated waterfall, ponds and filtration system. It was not maintained and had several leaking areas . Darin devised a plan of attack to find the leaks and Chads execution was flawless. It was a time consuming (3weeks) process but Chad identified the areas, recommended the best approach for remedy and executed. There was also a deep bog area which was leaking very deep in the ground beneath boulders the size of a house. It was determined this area was not needed for filtration as there are other filtration locations and so was eliminated, plumbing rerouted, and replaced with a small patio of which Chad built.

The streams were cleaned out and power washed, lining replaced , rocks repositioned for sound, flow rate requirements , and aesthetics.

I wouldn't want anyone else to maintain or manage my gorgeous waterfalls and ponds.

Next year I'm hoping to work with Darin on landscaping several large areas . I'll keep you informed about our next adventure with Paradise Ponds and Landscaping.
