Fantastic local Landscaping and Design crew, VistaCraft
What a relief to have such a wonderful company to work with on our landscaping project. We have had ongoing home improvement projects for the last 18 months including a new detached shop/garage build, a large cement driveway/pad poured and a few other projects. Landscaping is one of the last few items we had to complete. It has been difficult to say the least. Unmet deadlines (some unavoidable, but mostly avoidable), unprofessionalism and crews disappearing for days/weeks sometimes. What happened to work ethic??

From the first time speaking to Andrew with VistaCraft, it just felt like such a relief. He is just so knowledgeable about his industry. He had so many ideas and suggestions for us to consider. The entire process seemed so smooth it was almost unbelievable. The crew was fantastic. They were so professional, polite, and communicated with us throughout the entire project. Andrew was onsite often checking on his team and making sure all was well. The team was always on time, they kept the areas as clean as possible and tidied up every day prior to leaving so the dogs could have their areas back in the evenings. Their equipment worked, was clean and orderly. The trucks were clean and well maintained. Our yard looks fabulous, and we cannot wait to finalize the yard with our fire pit and grilling station. Thank you, VistaCraft for doing such an amazing job!!

Andrew and his team built an incredible Boulder Retaining Wall for us. We had a pretty good picture in our head of what it would look like and they far exceeded anything that we had dreamed of.

They were great communicators and extremely hard workers at a very fair price. Photos don't do it justice. Work is still on-going, but I wanted to highlight the wall.

I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Andrew, Dom, Ed and the rest of the crew mobilized to build us a beautiful 250’ stream and pond water feature next our home in little more than a week lapsed time. Ahhh, the sounds of falling water! All were courteous, clever and cleaned up when finished - after working hard all day. We appreciate you all!

And now we have the a large “water cistern” ready to help protect our home from the next Black Forest fire.

Andrew and his team at VistaCraft did a fantastic job on our patio/fire-pit project. Andrew was very easy to work with and he frequently let in contact to ensure all our expectations were understood. The overall cost was very reasonable compared to other estimates we received and they fully met all commitments and finished ahead of schedule. The attention to detail was beyond compare. When the project was completed, they left the worksite in better condition than it was before they started. We will definitely go back to VistaCraft for any future landscaping needs.

Vista Craft Review
We could not be happier with the work Vista Craft did at our home. We live on a ½-acre lot that had flooding issues long before we bought the house five years ago. During the heavy rains in July 2025—when nearly four inches fell in minutes—we quickly learned the previous homeowner never addressed the underlying problem. The undeveloped lot behind us slopes directly into our yard and our neighbor’s basement, and two streets essentially drain into that same area.
With all that in mind, we needed a company that could truly fix the issue while keeping our property looking great. We had several landscaping companies come out, but Vista Craft—especially Amber—stood out immediately. She walked us through her plans in detail, listened carefully, and understood exactly what was causing the problem. Andrew also came out to assist, and together they demonstrated professionalism and genuine expertise.
Vista Craft was not the cheapest option, and that was fine with us—we weren’t looking for a bargain. We were looking for a team that would do it right, and in my experience, going cheap only gets you cheap results.
Vista Craft delivered in every way. The design was perfect, the work was high-quality, and what truly set them apart was their communication—something I value tremendously. They also installed new fence posts and a gate with materials we purchased last year, and the results were outstanding.
Finally, they completed an additional driveway to our workshop, and that work was equally impressive.
Bottom line: Would we hire Vista Craft again? Absolutely. They were thorough, detailed, and maintained excellent communication from start to finish. Would we recommend them? Without hesitation.

VistaCraft Landscaping and Design did a terrific job on our landscaping project. Andrew and his crew listened well to what we wanted. They were very professional, hardworking, precise, skilled, careful and friendly. Andrew stuck to his estimate for the final charge. Their prices were competitive and they even had to work on it longer than expected without charging more. They did a beautiful job. We may still add a boulder. Here are some before and after photos. The moisture on the walk shows the design a little. The steps are perfectly level even though they look slanted in the photo. The edging and block walls were there and they were so talented to work with that. We highly recommend them.

We chose VistaCraft to design our patio, water feature and landscaping over the competition because of their technical expertise and passion for the work. I can’t say enough good things about VistaCraft Landscaping and Design. Andrew Ulferts, the owner is experienced, creative, professional and patient. He is a problem solver. He listened carefully and made my ideas work within my budget. I am very particular and my design plans evolved as I saw the project come to life. Andrew and crew understood and went above and beyond to accommodate me. We wanted a bocce ball court. He had never built one but he researched it and came back to us with specifications and a price. It is fabulous. He has an excellent crew. They are hardworking, knowledgeable and couldn’t be nicer to work with. And they liked my dog. His subcontractors - plumber and concrete installers, are people I would use in the future. I had tried the low cost competition over the years before I found Andrew. In landscape you get what you pay for. This is not a cut rate guy and a truck. Andrew, Dominic, Ed, Raygan and Eric care about your job and take pride in their work. Everything that is nice about my .9 acre has been done by VistaCraft. You won’t find anyone better for any price.

We used VistaCraft to landscape our front hill. The workers were very professional and always answered any questions or concerns we had. We were provided a color rendering of what the project would look like which really helped us visualize everything before we committed. We would use VistaCraft again in a heartbeat.

VistaCraft is the REAL DEAL. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of our back yard landscaping overhaul. We've been in our house for nearly 10 years, and our back yard has always been a boring mix of dead grass, dirt and weeds.

VistaCraft completely transformed our backyard with a MASSIVE water feature that looks like a mountain stream with multiple waterfalls and pools. They artfully designed a new stone staircase next to the new waterfall, natural paving stones and beautiful mulch and rock landscaping that turned our "meh" back yard to a "wow" back yard. The final touch was beautiful sod installation and irrigation for everything.

Andrew and his team spared no expense or effort to give a first class product. From their choice of materials, to the efforts they put into making everything "perfect", I was completely impressed with this team from start to finish.

We purchased a new home and needed complete landscaping for the front and back yard. We contacted four different landscaping companies for designs and quotes. After speaking with Andrew, we knew that VistaCraft was the company to go with. Andrew came to the house several times to help design the project, and walk us through some ideas. I purchased a home that had no landscaping on the outside. After receiving several quotes, I choose to go with Vista Craft after working with their landscape designer Amber. She did a great job bringing my vision to life with a lot of different variables to take into consideration. The project required regrading the back yard, bringing in 60 +tons of top soil, installing irrigation, a gas line for a fire pit, installing a patio, planting trees and creating 3 rock gardens. Additionally they removed all mulch and created a rock edge barrier around the house as well as rock steps and a dry creek bed to assist with drainage and erosion control.

After Amber designed my ideas, then the crew did all of the magic. The crew: Dom, Ed, Keenan and Ryan showed up on time and worked hard all day long for the duration of the 3 week project. They were available to answer my questions and consulted with me when they had questions on my vision. Both Amber and Andrew (the owner) stopped by to check in on the project daily. It was a true team effort. After showing our neighbors - they said that "we now have a show home" and they are calling Vista Craft for some landscaping updates.

Our only regret is that we did the project in October and won't be able to enjoy the great work until May. But we'll be ready to roll in the spring!

The little fenced-in area of our backyard desperately needed an upgrade and due to the drought situation and water restrictions, artificial grass was the solution for us and our little dogs. We found local company, VistaCraft Landscaping and Design, for our project. They are highly skilled, trustworthy and reasonable. The designer had great ideas, was able to re-use boulders and sheet rock that we already had, maximize supplies, work around our trees, and ultimately created something completely new, low maintenance, clean looking, and beautiful! (And this new turf is nothing like it was in the past! This stuff looks and feels so real! Little dog approved!) The team was professional, dependable, timely, neat, conscientious, and very easy to work with. All really nice people! We would definitely use VistaCraft again for our next project and wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone!

Great family owned business that's been around for decades and does an amazing job

ABC, Mike Couture ,filled in a swimming pool and made a backyard oasis with a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen and beautiful landscaping. It was all done beyond what I expected...was actually fun for such a large project!
