Purple Mountain Plumbing was fantastic. Jacob came out, evaluated our boiler system and the issue we were having. He explained everything in detail, then provided an estimate. Tanner was on-time and professional. He gave me a run through of my water heater system and explained the processes of maintenance and installation. He was incredibly knowledgable and ensured that I had all my questions and concerns answered. He also provided information about the water in my area so I know how to maintain my water heater in the future. I will definitely be using Purple Mountain Plumbing again.

Jacob did a wonderful job fixing our booster pump. He also took the time to explain what was done and whether or not the other minor issue with it would require immediate repair. I would absolutely us them again for any plumbing issues and highly recommend them.

Had a leaky garbage disposal, and didn't feel like installing it myself as I did this one. Called Purple Mountain; Tanner came out on time, and replaced the bad one with a better up graded model. Very nicely done; would highly recommend!

I recently contacted Purple Mountain Plumbing to schedule the installation of fixtures for a bathroom remodel I was undertaking. Despite my tight timeline, they accommodated me promptly, offering a same-week appointment at a competitive price. Although my travel plans changed, allowing me to complete the work myself, I canceled the service, and their team was exceptionally courteous and understanding. While I did not experience their technical work firsthand, their outstanding customer service suggests a high standard of professionalism. I look forward to engaging Purple Mountain Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

Nothing worse than waking up to a 30 degree morning and finding your hot water heater leaking all over the place. Called Purple Mountain Plumbing and they were able to come out in just a little over an hour. Jacob and team gave us our options and we had a new hot water heater installed in just a few hours. Jacob and team were great!

Right around the holidays I had a shower drain that I could not get to flow properly, no matter what I tried. I called Purple Mountain plumbing, and they were able to send out Tanner the next day to help me with the issue! I received a text message with an accurate window of estimated arrival time, and a bit about Tanner, which was helpful and comforting to know who to expect! He did what he could before having to pull out additional tools for the drain repair, and he was sure to explain the additional cost before doing anything else additional, which I also appreciated! No surprises, nice conversation, and a well done repair!

I contacted this company to install two toilets. While they refused to give even a rough estimate over the phone, I chose them based on their high recommendations. This was a mistake. Upon arrival, I was quoted $1,400 for the labor to install two toilets—a rate that is well beyond the industry standard.

When I declined the obscene quote, I was still required to pay a $64 site visit fee. Furthermore, the technician’s bio described them as a 'DIY enthusiast' rather than a licensed plumber, which didn't instill confidence given the premium pricing. I called another local plumber immediately after who quoted a standard rate of $135/hour. I would caution anyone looking for fair, transparent pricing to look elsewhere.

Follow-up: The owner called me and apologized for the confusion on the high estimate that was a surprise. He agreed to wave the $64 site visit fee. I raised the rating to 2 stars

PMP was able to come out within a day even tho they’re busy, and replaced our 10-year old water heater. They discovered a failing check valve after installation and fixed that a few days later; cost included in the original fixed price. Communication is excellent; between Sabrina, Tanner and Jacob I always knew what was happening and when. Finished install is tidier and simpler than original plumbing. Highly recommend.
