David did a great job troubleshooting and fixing the water leakage below my 6 y.o. AC/Furnace combo in the basement in about an hour. (He also did pre-winter cleaning/maintenance on my furnace.) The drain for the AC condensate pan had never been cleaned and was clogged. He cleared it with a brush and poured water thru to test that it was clean. To maintain the drain, he said to pour a gallon of water thru the drain (their is a clean-out opening above the P-trap of the drain where it exits the AC) at the end of the season to flush any build-up out. I asked about putting treatment tablets in the pan to prevent sludge build-up, but my pan cannot be accessed without breaking the concrete-type sealant on the seams of the AC unit. He said unless the AC has to be opened for a repair, it's best to leave it sealed tight. He also answered several other questions I had. If the drain ever needs replacing, or if you are installing a new AC unit, he recommends a clear drain that comes with its own brush for maintenance. I also like that he didn't try to "up-sell" add-ons to make extra money for the company. Thank you for good, old-fashioned service and a job well done. My son recommended Moore to me and I will call them in the future for any HVAC service.

AC Maintenance performed by David M. was excellent. He thoroughly explained what he was doing and why. My AC unit is located in the attic, so he recommended getting sensors to detect water in the event there is a leak. The sensors could easily be ordered from Amazon for a fraction of the price of an instrument he could install that would automatically shut off the unit. This option will work well for me. I'm glad I went with Moore and will use them again.
