Kerry is nice and knowledgeable about what he does and does quality work when he does it himself. Some of his staff are not as attentive to the work. We have been great customers for over 5 years but as of late the quality of service has decreased. I recently shared some dissatisfaction with weed control and when I was denied a redo of the service I was told by his wife Cheryl that weeds are just bad right now and they would charge another $69 to do it during a normal service. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with that I let her know that after the upcoming service that I would be looking for a different company. I was told by Cheryl that she would prefer to part was immediately.
On the website “about us” page it speaks of “great customer service”.
Not in this case.
It’s unfortunate that after this long being a customer to be treated this way.

We have used Cypress for several years now. Kerry and Cheryl are knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and responsive. Further, they really brought our grass back to life. We continued to use them upon moving to a new house that had many mature trees and bushes. Kerry kindly walked the yard with me and named all the many varieties and what I could expect from them. Our grass looks so good that our next door neighbors began using Cypress too.

I have been using Cypress Land & Tree Care for over a 2 years now. They are great! Good price and my lawn is looking great. Kerry came out for the initial visit and recommended a specific plan. Our yard was very very negated when we bought the home but now front yard is very green and healthy and so is the back yard as well.

Love Kerry at Cypress! He has been taking care of our lawn, trees and shrubs for 5 years or so. He does not trim just sprays and fertilizes. We hands down have the best lawn and the biggest trees on the block. He always responds when I have questions and is always a pleasure to see him and his crew. I highly recommend.

My interaction with Doug was like working with an old friend who wanted to help me find the right rock for my small rose garden. He has small to large rocks to choose from and will deliver them, if needed. Highly recommend

Doug came to my house to drill the fountain hole through this 4 ft wide granite boulder that was turned into a boulder bubbler. Doug was very quick, very polite and a really nice guy. Turning a boulder into a functional art piece is amazing and highly recommended to elevate your landscaping with something unique and one-of-a-kind!

Excellent communication and reasonable prices. Asked him to do a small pond-less bubbling boulder. It turned out exactly how we requested and was completed very quickly. Definitely looking forward to going here again for other projects.

Owner Doug Root gives GOLD-NUGGET service and advice. On initial phone contact he provided relevant and detailed information about creating a waterfall boulder pond and the costs associated therewith, including instructions re how-to-do-it-yourself to lower costs. Upon his invitation to view his boulder field I found a boulder that interested me. Doug noted that it had a crack that would most likely break so he purposely broke the boulder eliminating the defect. He took time to angle the boulder into several positions and to pour water on it to simulate the waterfall. Upon my inquiry he showed me his diamond drilling and sawing equipment and he referred me to several other providers of boulders if I decided not to go with the one, he demonstrated. I left with a negotiated price if I were to purchase the boulder, have him drill the waterfall source, and deliver and place the rock at my residence. I have never met a more engaging, friendly, and helpful vender. He offered to bring his drilling tools and front-end loader to any location where I located a boulder, even from another vender. I later contacted him to inform him that I decided against his boulder, but instead hired him to immediately load a large rock from my cabin (to beat the big snowfall), deliver it to my home, and place it appropriately. We negotiated a very reasonable price and when he arrived at my cabin he offered to include two additional boulders without charge. Upon arriving at my home he spent an hour arranging the three boulders in different configurations. Doug is a very honest and engaging vender who goes out-of-his-way to please customers. He has an outstanding website full of his creations and helpful information. He knows his equipment and he carefully protected against collateral damage to my property while positioning the boulders. People like Doug are rare and I am confident that anyone doing business with him will be very pleased. On a scale of 1 to 10 he is a 20+++ and worthy of far more than 5 stars.

Doug was great to work with. Nice property with plenty of options. He made sure the boulder was placed EXACTLY where we wanted. "Willing to move it an inch if that's what you'd like". Would recommend him time and time again.

I am looking for a memorial stone. Doug is a super friendly guy that you can tell has a great heart and just wants to help people out!! He took time to explain the process that would be needed and steer me in the right direction. I highly recommend him and his company!
