Our world is an excellent company. Kim was my regular contact and she was always available and flexible. She helped make schedule adjustments, answer any questions, and was kind and personable throughout the entire process. The installation team also went the extra mile to make sure my house and it's 60s electrical system was connected safely and even worked over time to ensure we had power back on the same day. I'd recommend their services to anyone looking for solar.

One of the best professional service experience we've had on a home improvement platform from beginning to end.
Their well select "patient" employees are very communicative, responsive, efficient, and they keep you updated at every step of the way.

Has been our whole experience with this company has been fabulous. Starting with Charles the sales representative so glad he knocked on our door that day.

Our sales person was not pushy and was understanding of our situation. Our project coordinator, John, was ever so helpful. He keep us up to date on our project. We would get text messages or phone calls regularly to keep us up to date. And if we felt insecure about anything, Joh was just a phone call away.

Salesman was great at convincing us solar was the way to go. Stating how they work directly with CORE electric and the financing options that couldn’t be beat. Until we did our own research and find out they don’t work with CORE electric at all. They wanted to see our bills and all of that which is sketchy. So we let it all fall through. We get an email saying that our account is closed and then what? They continue to call, show up at our house unannounced and send emails. Clearly they do not get the point.
This company is proof that when something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I had Team #1 install my solar panels the other day from Our World Energy and they arrived on time and did what needed to be done and informed me on things that I needed to know as they did their process. They even asked if I had extra exterior paint to be able to pant the conduit to match the house to look better and who knows if other company’s or other teams of this company even thinks about those things but they went above and beyond and I appreciated their professionalism and communication through the process. One thing I would have like for there to be better communication on is what I am personally suppose to do next in this process after install which they might not have know exactly for all I know which is why I’m still giving them 5 stars because that is kind of on me to figure that out too.

Along with that Lys who managed my project was amazing as-well through the whole process. From getting me scheduled to checking up on me on how everything is going to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Not only to mention that but she even was very understanding when I had to pause the project for a good while as I had a life change and she fully understood and wanted to make sure I got better before anything else. She was very professional and had some of the best costumer service I have experienced.

One more thing to add is Brian Nowlin was who I first talked to about getting panels and he was great with explaining everything and seemed very knowable with it all. He not only did that but every time I reached out with questions or when I wanted to chat quickly he always responded in a timely manner and answered my questions and figured things out in a good manner.

I was very impressed with everybody at Our World Energy. Installation went well. It was quick. I asked them questions and they answered my questions. The group that set up the installation and the inspections was very thorough and very friendly. I look forward to working with them to install a Tesla Wall in the future.

I have had an amazing experience with OWE! They have followed the installation of the panels and months later follow up regularly. Rea, the manager has been very efficient and so very pleasant to work with! I appreciate her dedication to her work!

Recently got solar installed on our new home and it has been such an easy process. Everyone has been so helpful and informative along the way. Today, Johan Lumsden came to inspect and give the green light that our project is complete. I truly appreciate how smooth this process has been.

Johan Lumsden arrived on time & was very professional. He competently completed the work that needed to be done.

Today, Tyler made a site visit to make sure that the system was running correctly. He was very professional & was able to make an adjustment to our solar system that now allows the Tesla App to show how much of the energy produced mby the panels is being used to run our house. We very much appreciate Tyler’s work & his ability to clearly explain aspects of our solar system that we needed additional info on.

I’ve put off writing this review for weeks hoping this company would show some initiative and fix what they’ve done to our house, but alas, it’s been at least a month now and nothing is being done; and it’s clear this company only cares about raving reviews without putting much effort into earning it.
Our solar panel install went fine, panels themselves are great. The issue(s) lie with the aftermath of the install. It only took a few days for our breakers to start blowing (which, mind you, we live in a house built within the last 3 years and have never had issues prior to the solar install). At first, we were optimistic into thinking this could be a simple fix from the solar company and we could move on. Wrong. Initially, the service guys came out and we were met with “well if this happens again, just call us back; maybe you should unplug everything”. It happened within hours of him leaving that day. Whatever, moving on. We reached out again immediately, and (a week later) another service provider came out and turned off the solar panels themselves to see if the problem would persist. It did. We reached out again. And again, a week later, another service provider came out, poked around for hours, and we were met with “well, this isn’t our fault.” Nothing further. At this point, we can barely use our microwave. We can’t run our vacuum. We can barely use our coffee maker, garage door, the list goes on. I digress.
STILL, we were thinking, ‘well, maybe we should get an outside opinion on this to see if it’s just a weird coincidence.’ So we brought an electrician out to diagnose the issue and longer story short, the issue links to the solar inverter. I know, the plot thickens.
So here we are, over a week after the electrician diagnosis, and a text message to the solar rep met with “I’ll reach out to the team” with no further response a week later. So, I’m laying it all out on the table hoping this company will FINALLY take responsibility and show some decent customer service or maybe, dare I ask, some care for their customers having to tiptoe around using everyday appliances around the house and fix the issue before we start getting lawyers involved.
Despite what this book of a review looks like, my family isn’t a bunch of Karen’s trying to tear down a company. But hindsight being 20/20, I wish I could’ve read something like this before this nightmare of an installation. So reader, beware, and hold your vacuums and microwaves a little tighter at night, because Lord knows I miss mine.

Team 1 did such an amazing job!! They were very efficient and we highly recommend them to anyone that would like to add solar to their homes!

I just want to share what a great experience I had with the installation of my solar system. Jason showed up the night before the installation and spent at least an hour just getting ready for the next day. He came after hours and went above and beyond the call of duty so that everything would go smoothly the next day. The team (Jason and Robert...aka Team #1) showed up right on time the next day and worked expediently to finish my system in no time. They were very personable and service oriented, and I feel they did an excellent job!!!

It hasn’t been the best experience for me, and at times very stressful and frustrating. I think the people I’ve dealt with have been pleasant, but the experience just hasn’t been worth adding solar and in fact with the payments I’m making and the bills I still have to pay Black Hills Energy I’m upside down. I DO NOT recommend getting solar!!

Been considering solar for several years. OWE was quick to come out for the sale, quick to come out for install and quick to address any issues. Jesus on their service post install team was super responsive.

Everything with the solar project has been smooth and easy, and all employees have been fantastic. Taylor was our initial sales person and remained my contact when I had questions, Lys was exceptional at notifying me of when crews were going to be here and giving me plenty of heads up, my initial install team and lead electrician were super polite, great at communicating to me what was being done, and our electrician even stayed well past dark to complete what he needed to do. Nic came out and spent a great deal of time and effort finding my hidden ground to make sure I would pass inspection, and Johan Lumsden, who came out today to make sure I passed my county inspection even went above and beyond by installing a surge protector for the solar that also protects my house. The panels look great and I really appreciate them paint matching with the house so that it is not obtrusive, looking at all. So far, my entire experience with everyone from this company has been outstanding. Several of my neighbors also went with them and have had similar experiences. Thank you, our world!!!

We gave the go-ahead to have solar panels installed in July of 2024, and it is now February of 2025 and still have not had them activated. We were told the installation process for the panels and electrical boxes would take one day, and it was way longer. Many times, we were told they would be out on certain days and never show up. The communication is horrible. We were told they would be out on February 14 and waited all day until 6:00 pm. When we reached out to one of the many people who occasionally spoke to us, we were told they would be out the next day. The next day, we at least received a call, and they said they couldn't make it, and it would now be the next day. So many times, we have wasted an entire day waiting for them to show up, including Valentines Day. We also had them show up with no notice while we were not home. When we answered the ring camera, he was irritated that we weren't there and told us it was now going to be a few more weeks before they could be back. I understand that permits and inspections take time, but it has now been 7 months. We are also not confident in their 25-year workmanship warranty based on how the inspections went. The inspector found that there were roof jacks installed upside down that would cause leaks. The roof jack was installed for months incorrect. I'm surprised we did not have leaks because it has snowed many times. I would not recommend this company based on our expirences. I never write bad reviews, but I have expressed my concerns and frustration with them, and they do not care at all. This is still such a frustrating burden. I wish I had never signed. They can't even get my name correct in their response to my review.

I had a fantastic experience with Rea managing my solar panel project. From start to finish, she was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They handled all the paperwork and permits seamlessly, keeping me informed throughout the process. The installation is completed and the quality of work was excellent. I highly recommend Rea to anyone considering solar energy!

Tyler G. Did an amazing job with the install. He cleaned up all the leftover trash and He came back out and re-labeled the breakers to 100% accuracy. Its such an important item for homeowners so it was much appreciated. I also appreciated the call 1 hr prior to arriving. Rea also did an amazing job throughout this journey. Communication was on point. :)

Starting from Jacob the sales person to the project coordinator Rea Ann it has been amazing process super fast to actually be accurate. The inspection was great as well he was super nice. The installers omg those guys were straight to business install was fast and really clean. Everyone and everything went so smooth. 😊 thank you
