I called today to clarify our charges on the repair of our oven as I was quoted something different from the repairman, Margo. I was treated very poorly by the owner of the company, and very disappointed with the exchange.
Regardless of my experience with the owner, I wanted to say that Margo did a great job repairing our ovens and I would definitely have him back. Not only did he do a great job, but he was very respectful and friendly. I'm sorry that things didn't work out, I thought I found a good appliance repair shop.
The owner deserves a 1 for the owner response, but would have given a 5 for Margo the technician. Make sure you have quote in writing with the tech before agreeing to anything. I see where other reviews say the same things about the owner and the refund of the $99 service fee. -
Brandon was sent out by Mr. Appliance through my Home Warranty company and I was so pleased with his customer service and efficiency on fixing our oven. Having just had a baby 2 weeks ago, I requested that he wear shoe booties and a mask, he did so without hesitation and even had to go get some booties and return to ensure he was helping keep my newborn safe. Upon opening the part to replace he noticed that a piece looked to be missing, which was the problem with a previous company that could not complete the job. He took the time to thoroughly inspect the part and realized it was just an adapter piece that needed to be installed to make it compatible. His ability to pay attention to details aided in the completion of the repair in a timely manner. During his visit he was very pleasant to conversation with. Extremely impressed with him and this company. Thank you.

I have been using Mr. Appliance of Golden now for about two years and in that time, they have repaired my fridge, freezer, stove and the repairman, Margo, actually felt bad that he had to tell me my microwave was fried. He is conscientious and tenacious especially with my fridge. My appliances are all 25 years old and high end and I don't want to replace them. They are responsive and in all cases are out within 24 hours and are fairly priced.

Got home from vacation and washer broke. Mr. appliance was able to get someone out to diagnose the problem and order the part in 2 days. Once part came in they quickly scheduled an appointment for repair. Matt did a great job!

Andrew was extremely professional and helpful. Came exactly when expected and worked quickly to fix our Dryer. On top of this he provided some excellent energy saving and maintenance tips regarding our washer and dryer. Highly recommend to anyone with home appliance issues

Poor communication and failure to keep not one but two pre-scheduled appointments. Super frustrating when I set aside time during my workday for their service call and they ghosted me and then seemed completely confused when I called to inquire about it. Also, they invoiced me BEFORE the service? Strange.

Very reliable company. Far better than the original one GE connected me with for a warranty repair.
Very responsive and communicative with scheduling.
The tech was great. Nice guy, knew his stuff, and super helpful. 10/10! -
Absolutely terrible, terrible customer service!
Not only could they not fix my washing machine. They basically told me tough luck.
Renee is EXTREMELY rude. She hung up on me and raised her voice multiple times.
Never ever hire Mr. Appliance for anything! -
I found Mr. Appliance as Bosch recommended them as a local Appliance repair company. I was impressed when I was able to make an appointment within a day of calling and during Thanksgiving week! The tech came, was professional and thorough when diagnosing the problem. And today someone came to install the new part and was again equally helpful and thorough. And even discussed a question I had about another appliance. 100% recommend this local company!!

Had Mr. Appliance techs come out twice for my GE appliances. On both occasions the techs were very knowledgeable, professional, and worked quickly. I can’t say the same for the GE representative that I spoke with on the phone unfortunately. Would not hesitate recommending this company for any future appliance work. Gabe and Margo were both exceptional.

Mr. Appliance was sent for a warranty service call on our ice maker after another company failed to fix the original issue. Margo was kind, efficient and ultimately fixed our ice maker. While I can't speak to the price of the service because it was under warranty, I can say they know what they are doing and I would call them again!

This company is a complete scam. Do not use them. Came out to look at my dishwasher and couldn't find anything wrong with it even though it is throwing a code for an internal leak. Still charged the service fee. What a joke. Find another company that is small and locally owned. I will never work with this company again and will only ever tell folks not to work with them. Awful experience.

Renee, I'm back again ! Out over $1,000 and still don't have a working double oven. I sent you an email on 5/5 with a screen shot of the most recent error message "this product is experiencing a problem and can no longer be used." I have called Jennair and as before, they have said it is defective/faulty control panels but can't say more without a technician coming out for a service call. Both control panels were replaced by Mr. Appliance Golden on 2/3. I sent you the email on 5/5 because I am not a vindictive person, I would hope that you aren't either. I would have called but I'm just not at a place in life right now where I want people hanging up on me. Thanks again. Jeanne Dietz
Renee, I'm back. At a minimum I was hoping you would have apologized for hanging up on me mid-word from my posting 2 weeks ago. Today I set the oven to bake two cakes. Opened the oven, put the cakes in and closed the door. Immediately the Jennair logo appeared and the oven shut down to recharge. Bummer. The 90 day warranty for your company ran out on 4/3, bummer for me that I have spent over a thousand dollars and my oven doesn't work.
I have been working with Mr. Appliance of Golden (Renee the owner, and Jesse and Margo, technicians) for the last several weeks. We have a JennAir double oven that has consistently dropped the temperature by 25 or 50 degrees. Jose came … More

Mr. Appliance of Golden - Lakewood (Owner)
Unfortunately not able to make everyone happy. The unit is running correctly per Jennair spec. Owner -
I had an excellent experience with every aspect of Mr. Appliance’s business. They were able to schedule and appointment same day for me. The technician that helped me, Ryan, was quick and explained exactly what was wrong with my dryer. They were more affordable than any of the other places nearby and much quicker as well. Cannot recommend enough!

I have been working with Mr. Appliance of Golden (Renee the owner, and Jesse and Margo, technicians) for the last several weeks. We have a JennAir double oven that has consistently dropped the temperature by 25 or 50 degrees. Jose came out first, spent time running diagnostics, etc. He wasn’t able to determine if there was a clear cause but suggested that we replace the control panels in both of ovens. I was a little hesitant to incur the cost but given that the oven is useless the way it is, gave the ok. Jesse returned, removed the old panels and installed the new panels. Within the next one or two times the oven was used, the same problem occurred. The oven was set to reach 375, beeped that it was at the correct temperature and WITHOUT opening the oven door, I hit the “edit” button that then visibly indicated that the oven was only at 350 or 325. I called Renee back with the information and she arranged to have her top tech Margo come out and check the oven. Margo was prompt and professional, as Jose was for the appointments. I relayed to Margo the temperature drop by 25 or 50 degrees that was occurring after spending money to replace both control panels. I was especially clear about the fact that the oven door was never opened when the temperature dropped. The inside oven temperature will always drop by 5 degrees or so when the door is opened. Margo ran diagnostics for a period of time, set the oven, waited till it indicated it had reached the correct desired temperature and then each time repeatedly opened the oven door and said yes, the temperature has dropped by a few degrees. I continued to calmly say that it was important to realize that I had NEVER opened the oven door while checking the temperature and that he had consistently opened the oven door each time he checked the internal temperature. I pointed out that we didn’t seem to be comparing apples to apples because he was repeatedly opening the oven door and I never had. We left things the way they were, at an impasse and with an oven that still won’t hold the desired temperature. I let a little time go by realizing that there was only a 90 day window to have Mr. Appliance of Golden return for the same issue. I first used my cell phone and took a video of the process. Set the oven to a desired temperature, 375 I believe, it beeped and without opening the oven, selected the “edit” button which indicated that the actual oven temperature was 25 to 50 degrees lower than what it should be. I asked Renee if I could send her the video and did that last week. I have traded phone calls with Renee over the last week or so and will admit that although our conversations have been professional and respectful, that changed this morning. I had to leave another message for Renee this morning. Renee finally returned my call a while ago, said that Margo had watched my video and that the problem is that when I hit the “bake” button it is automatically setting the oven back to 350 degrees. Renee said that is the factory default. I calmly said that she can watch the video again, as I did this morning, and that I’m not hitting the “bake” button I am doing what I have shared with Jose, Margo and Renee - after the oven beeps that it has reached the desired temperature (without opening the door) I hit the “edit” button and a temperature appears that is 25, 50 or 75 degrees higher or lower than the desired temperature. (I have also contacted JennAir directly and they confirmed that the process I am describing will show the accurate internal oven temperature after selecting “edit.”). It appears that Renee doesn’t want to discuss this with me any longer as she hung up on me as I was still talking with her. I tried to call back and after reaching someone at the call center, asked if Renee could return the call because she had hung up on me while we were in the middle of a conversation. I have never raised my voice, used inappropriate language or been anything other than respectful with Jose, Margo and Renee and am disappointed that I was treated this way.

Margo is an excellent, 5-star technician. He very patiently explained and showed me what the problem with both my washing machine and my dishwasher were. We worked well together in testing and diagnosing the issues. He let me video him doing the detailed explanations of the issues, fixes and preventative maintenance needed. I highly recommend Margo and Mr. Appliance of Golden and would not hesitate to call them again for any future appliance issue.

We have been having problems with our New LG refrigerator icemakers, from the first day in July. It has a plastic/chemical taste in the ice cube. The LG company suggested charcoal, baking soda, and basically told us they couldn't guarantee the taste of our ice. Renee from Mr. Appliance said she would ask her techs for suggestions. One of the companies techs Dean suggested to change a water holding tank in the door. He did this a week ago, we may be still having issues with the top maker but I want to give it another week and see if it helps clear the ice.
LG knows there is a problem with their product but doesn't care to fix it.. I unfortunately bought all new LG appliances in July of 2020 and they have already had to fix a leak in the dish washer door that leaked all over my new floor.
Mr. Appliance at leased worked to help to find a solution. -
Excellent experience! Great communication from the office and our technician Margo. He was polite and thorough, explained every step of what he was doing to assess the problem. Unfortunately the needed part for the oven had been discontinued so he helped us locate an alternate vendor. He returned to install the new part, and again explained every action and double-checked that the oven was functioning as expected. On both visits Margo summarized what had been done and ensured there were no additional questions. I would not hesitate to call Mr. Appliance for future service needs.

Jose has been out to my house several times to fix my GE monogram oven. We have been waiting on some parts which have been problematic on GE‘s end but Jose has been thorough and pleasant and I have watched him call and sit on hold with GE and communicate with them effectively Demonstrating that the problem is on their end. He has done good work and is personable and I would recommend them for other appliance needs.
