Have a plumber’s success story to share. A drawn out steam boiler loud very loud banging pipe mystery over many months: mid October thru mid February finally reached a definitive conclusion only because Blue Sky Plumbing had the wherewithal to fix it. Took two companies, four different plumbers and seven visits (four from Blue Sky) to resolve the problem. Eventually return pipe, the length of an 800 square foot basement had to be repiped and pitched at a more extreme angle, to ensure vapor found its way back to boiler.
Kristopher diagnosed the issue and laid out plan of repair within minutes of hearing thwacking. He was schooled on steam boilers in New York City’s multitude of historic buildings, often referred to as “the mecca of steam.” Kristopher is super knowledgeable and impressive. Blue Sky Plumbing stands by their work and are highly ethical.
The water hammer as it’s called, lasted about five minutes on average every time boiler engaged. It’s not hard to imagine the sound, like a baseball bat hitting a metal pipe-the worst part, radiator acted as an amp. It drove me nuts! System runs quietly now, thanks to Blue Sky. -
We had a great experience with Blue Sky Plumbing and Heating. Our heat exchanger failed after only two years, and unfortunately the original installer had gone out of business. Even though this technically wasn’t their problem, Blue Sky did everything they could to work with Carrier and get the replacement covered under warranty.
Their technician Oscar was excellent — knowledgeable, professional, and thorough throughout the entire process. The manager, Bill, truly went above and beyond to help resolve the situation and advocate on our behalf, even though he had no obligation to do so.
It’s rare to find a company willing to put in that level of effort for a customer, and we’re incredibly grateful. We will absolutely recommend Blue Sky Plumbing and Heating going forward. -
I am very happy with Blue Sky. My Triangle tube boiler was making a lot of noise and the first two companies that looked at it told me I needed to replace it at the tune of about $18K. I called Blue Sky and Gabe determined rather it just needed cleaned, tuned and a couple worn out parts replaced. During the inspection we recognized the unit was part of a large recall, and so I worked with Triangle Tube and Blue Sky to get the repair kit shipped to fix it all at once. Blue Sky did have to reschedule a couple of times, but fortunately it wasn’t a hassle or an emergency situation, and communication was great. In the end, and I think partly as a good gesture for the scheduling issues, they covered all maintenance under the recall, and I have a quiet running boiler again. Outstanding service compared to what the other two companies were trying to get me to do. I’m certain I will be replacing this unit eventually due to age and Blue Sky will be my first call.

Blue Sky Was great! They worked hard to provide same-day service and were even able to send a technician sooner than scheduled.
Anthony arrived and quickly determined the cause of my cooler problem. He resolved it and was on his way within 30 minutes!
He was professional and personal at the same time!
This was my first experience with Blue Sky but I would definitely recommend them. -
Adam is hands down one of the nicest electricians we’ve ever met! He came to install a new outlet for our dishwasher and prepped it for the plumbers to install(fixing another person’s mistake), and from the moment he arrived he made us feel completely comfortable. He talked with us the whole time, answered all of our questions, and even went above and beyond by sharing some family-friendly fishing spots for us and the kids. It’s rare to meet someone who is both highly skilled and genuinely kind—Adam is both. We’re so grateful for his work and his heart!

We have had Blue Sky twice now for issues in our home. Once for a furnace that would not start and yesterday for a backed up sewer. Both times they arrived within the time window, did the work professionally and with friendly communication and were done in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable fee. Both service technicians who came were personable, knowledgeable and communicated well with us on what the issue was and how they were going to resolve it and the price estimate for the work. I really appreciated the fact that they texted me with a picture of the technician coming so I knew who he was before his arrival - thereby giving me peace of mind as to who I was letting into my home - and that they told me a couple little personal things about him. This company is the real deal - competent, easy to trust with their client transparency at all levels and clean, reliable technicians. I also like it is a local, family owned business. We will continue to hire and highly recommend them for Plumbing, Heating and Electric needs around our home

Blue Sky did an excellent job installing our new boiler after our original one needed to be replaced after 40 years. They worked diligently and together to replace it in a couple of days. A beautiful job, respectful of us and our schedules. Great work! A piece of art!!

Andres with Blue Sky Plumbing was awesome. We had a cracked outdoor spigot pipe, and he handled everything quickly and professionally. He was knowledgeable, extremely kind, and took the time to clearly explain what he found and how he fixed it.
The company was very responsive, he arrived right on time, and he left the area clean when he was done. He even helped communicate with our landlord since we rent, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Pricing was transparent and very fair. We would absolutely request him again and highly recommend him -
We had such a great experience with this team! From start to finish, everyone we worked with was respectful, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in their work. Daniel, Joseph, Phaylan, Fernando, and Jayden were all fantastic—professional, friendly, and extremely thorough. From the initial visit and quote to the completion of the project, their attention to detail and care really stood out. It’s so refreshing to work with people who genuinely care about doing a great job. Highly recommend this company and this crew!

I have waited to do any kind of comment or review.
It is often said to never review anything while angry. Don't "YELP" angry.
The work done by Blue Sky Plumbing was done in September 2025
It is now mid January 2026.
I've had a great deal of time to look at all aspects of the work and formulate my opinion.
Right after the work was "completed" I called the representative who originally estimated / Sold the job
He came to our property to look over the work and listen to my concerns / complaints.
To start the two people who performed the work were polite enough with me, the home owner.
While on the job there were all kinds of mixed communications between the two. I noted at times they were conflicted and would appear to argue.
Other times over the few days here the seemed to be on the same page.
On at least one occasion one of them seemed possibly ill or lacking much if any motivation to work.
All of this is what resulted in the condition our property was left in at the conclusion of the job.
The approach to the job seemed to be to get things done as quickly as could be done.
I've found that most contractors take this approach to save as much in labor cost as possible, regardless of work quality at times.
I've taken several pictures of the finished work as well as the condition of the property upon completion of the job.
Here is a list of my concerns and complaints expressed to the Blue Sky Representative for this job.
A great deal of over spray due to neglect of proper prep prior to painting the installed gas line
This left our brick, foundation, and cedar gate painted with gloss black.
I consider this to be damage to our property that could have easily avoided with attention to detail.
Blue Sky got paid, our property got sprayed.
According to the licensed inspector who reviewed the work, it was not even necessary, according to code,
to paint many of the unions and valves that were painted in whole. That being said, the very last piece of black pipe installed
was left unpainted and left to rust in the rain. Left unpainted after it was explained to me by Blue Sky
how it was required that the entirety of the gas line be painted (again, not necessary) Again a lack of attention to detail.
During excavation the downspout drain to the garage was destroyed . No repair or replacement was offered.
Debris was left on the property from work performed.
When a Blue Sky crew returned to fill the trench that was dug by a company they contracted. A few people showed up to refill the ditch by hand with shovels
as opposed to using the same contractor that dug by machine. It took a much longer amount of time, and the yard was left considerably uneven. This again, I assume
was in an effort to save expense, where as bringing a grader back for a fill and a few passes to even things out would have left our yard as it was prior to the work performed.
