Heavy rains over the past few months and poor drainage issues caused our house to flood multiple times. We called Fortress Foundation to see if they could help solve our issues. Chris Kennard was extremely quick to respond and understood the urgency of our situation. He was able to come out the same day and assess the problem. Chris was on time, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. He offered multiple solutions and we decided to install a sump pump under our patio. Work was completed within one day and was top notch. Chris kept us well informed throughout the process and made sure we were happy with the work. I would not hesitate at all to contact Fortress Foundation for any drainage or foundation issues you may have.

Update: They came back out to do a recheck of our foundation due to floor failure. No concerning movement in our foundation and Mr. Kennard was still very helpful. Fortress Foundation is still excellent two years later!

My experience with Fortress Foundation and their representative Chris Kennard was phenomenal. He took the time to explain to me what he was looking for and how their measuring device worked in order to detect slab variations. He was patient with me as I was preoccupied with my family and animals while he was there. We called them out due to our flooring starting to bow. After we ruled out a sub floor leak we looked to a couple foundation companies. Each one gave similar readings as there isn’t much fluctuation to worry about. Chris was very honest and said these readings are fairly normal and you have a good stable center point. He didn’t recommend work at this time, but will come back out and take readings when it in August when the ground dries up. Other companies gave me quotes for repairs that are likely overkill. We instead are adding gutters and French drains to help protect the foundation further. Then we will have Chris back out this summer to evaluate. Excellent customer service and prompt responses. This isn’t a company after your money and is here to legitimately provide exceptional service/repairs WHEN needed. 5/5 recommend. Thank you!

Everyone at this company was so great to work with. We had them foam under our driveway to raise up a sinking section. They communicated well, were on time, did a very detailed job. They also installed piers under our patio. They were complete professionals and very good at what they do. April was so great to work with. She kept me in the loop at all times. They were also very honest. A company like this with people like them are very hard to come by these days. Highly recommend!

Fortress Foundation Systems repaired our foundation by lifting it and installing steel piers. Raul was professional, always on site with his crew and always ready to patiently answer any questions that I had. They were on time, worked quickly and efficiently and left the area neat and ready for us to put in our new landscaping. Cathy was professional, heartfelt, easy to talk to and very transparent about any concerns we had throughout the entire process! Our home feels solid again and we couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend them!

We are very happy with our recent experience with Fortress Foundation. With the months' long extreme heat and drought this summer, we were concerned about potential foundation movement. We called Foundation and they set up a free evaluation right away. Michael came out to our house and took generous time to review and take measurements, explain what he was seeing throughout the process, and provide a very honest recommendation on what to do going forward. Michael did not try to upsell while pointing out areas of concern in detail, and we felt genuinely equipped to make decisions. He is a consummate professional and it is clear he truly enjoys and appreciates doing the work he does, which was a huge joy to see. Communication with Fortress was excellent throughout. Highly recommend Fortress for any foundation needs!

Fortress delivered on their promise as well as their rough estimates. Steve and Raul showed impeccable professionalism and transparency throughout the entire process. During the actual work they took delicate care around the perimeter of the home, landscaping, and even did their best to avoid precious tree roots. After they were all done, no one would have known 10 foot holes were dug save for the FORTRESS sign proudly displayed by the sidewalk.

My contractor to me to call Chris Kennard at Fortress Foundation Systems as he has done business with him for years and trusts him implicitly- Chris came out and did a very thorough inspection and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. After he took a million measurements it turns out I don’t need any work on it right now but 1000% will be calling him to follow up this summer and for any work in the future.

Thought I had a problem & Chris did a wonderful job. Btw he said I didn’t have a problem which was not what I was expecting but appreciated the honesty. I live at Cedar Creek lake & it is difficult to find qualified & honest people. But I hit the jackpot!

Chris and Blayne are FANTASTIC! They are knowledgeable, professional, and honest. They inspected our home, explained what they were doing, and gave us their honest opinion in under an hour. They didn't use scare tactics or doomsday sales pitches. Quite the opposite, they reassured us that everything was normal, and even gave us some tips on how we could make sure things stay that way. I will 1000000% refer them to friends and family and will call them without hesitation if needed in the future.

I highly recommend you call Fortress to get an honest assessment of your foundation. Chris has a wealth of knowledge to help you understand the survey results. You may learn you don’t need foundation work at all, but help with drainage. Call them.

Had a great experience with Micheal. He came by and checked my house out. Didn’t see anything major and gave me recommendations to help improve certain things. He was nice, honest and didn’t suggest I needed to do anything not needed! A nice and caring person. Will recommend this company to anyone looking for a company that does business the right way!

We had a great experience with Chris kennard. As first time home owners we are experiencing foundation shifts and noticing cracks all throughout the house and it’s very concerning. Chris came and put our minds at ease and didn’t try to sell us anything at all. He actually wanted to help us get to the root cause of the issue.
