I am absolutely thrilled with the work David and his team at Ideal Engineering have done for my home. Not once, but two times! Most recently they cleared a sizable space in my back yard (which had a tree, large rocks, and unused gravel in the way) and installed a solid concrete foundation for a shed. This was no small task, but they made it look effortless and the result is simply fantastic.

On top of the hard work in preparing a space for our shed, they planted nearly 30 plants, each one given the perfect spot on our property. The attention to detail that his team operates with is just astounding. David always makes sure to do a "complete job" - they also installed all the necessary lighting and irrigation, ensuring the new plants and trees will continue to thrive.

David and his team are always super professional, efficient, and clearly passionate about their work. I couldn't be happier with the result and I highly recommend Ideal Engineering for any landscaping needs. They make you feel cared for; it's not just a job to them. I'll be a loyal customer for life.

We've just finished a very large, multi-part project with David and his crew at Ideal Landscape. Completely new concrete driveway, parking pad, retaining walls, backyard patio, and full landscaping throughout. I'm absolutely satisfied and couldn't be happier. As a first time home-owner it can be daunting to plan (and pay!) for a full home remodel. On top of that having to figure out all the hardscaping and landscaping was just overwhelming. Enter Ideal Landscape & Concrete to save the day! David and his team were super communicative, professional, and most important of all HONEST throughout the entire project. I always had my questions answered, the crews always came on time, and the speed of progress was something I've never experienced with other contractors. Even when it came to working with Public Works and meeting some critical requirements for gutters and retaining walls, David and his team were there and handled it. They're a family run operation and they handle their clients and employees with care; values that will keep them in business for a long time to come. I can't recommend Ideal Landscape enough. Call them for your next project!

David is very responsive and always kept us updated with the project and the schedule, so we felt comfortable to work with him and we can trust him.
His teams are hardworking and good people, always made sure the site is clean after their work.

I hired Ideal Landscape to install artificial turf over my backyard. Pretty simple job that took about 2.5 working days. His team did a solid job and they were very communicative, transparent and professional throughout the whole process. Due to rain, this project got delayed almost 2 months but David was very communicative throughout all of it. Sadly, he has no control over the weather!

They were punctual, and took care of everything as promised. His price was on the higher end of the range of quotes I got but he wasn’t the only one on that end. Despite this, we went with his team anyways as we felt they would be the best to work with and would do a great job. Happy to say we were right!

David and crew helped us completely overhaul our home's landscaping. Super happy to have found them and would highly recommend them for anything landscaping related.

I didn't know a thing about landscaping before we started but David and his brother, Fred, were happy to talk to me throughout the entire process. They do most of the work with an in-house team so the quality of work is excellent.

David provided excellent guidance for our project. He communicated efficiently and responded promptly. Pablo and his crew are truly masters of their craft. We were able to ask questions and make a few adjustments along the way with guidance from Pablo. Our new driveway and patio look amazing. I would highly recommend Ideal for any landscaping projects.

David Alfaro came out to look at a concern I had with my stone patio and was fantastic to work with. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain that the stone is naturally layered, so some surface flaking over time is normal. After removing the loose pieces, he showed me that the stone underneath was solid and that no repair was actually needed.

I really appreciated David’s honesty and integrity. There was no pressure to do unnecessary work — just a clear explanation and reassurance. I’ll definitely be keeping his contact information for future projects and would highly recommend him.

David and his team were wonderful to work with from start to finish. David was very responsive from our initial contact and throughout the project. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient as we talked through different products and options to extend our driveway. The team that did the work was very friendly and professional and they ensured I was involved and informed as they were working so that it met exactly what I was looking for. On the scale of projects, ours was probably on the smaller side but you wouldn't know it from David's interaction - he was engaged, attentive and ensured it was done timely and correctly as if it was his most important project going. I would recommend David and team to anyone for any size project without a doubt!

David and his team helped me transform a section of my front yard from dirt/grass into a beautiful brick paved walkway. Him and his team were very easy to work with and everyone was very professional from start to finish. They were all very knowledgeable and gave their expert opinion on what design and layout would work the best. Everyone on David's team was also very responsive and patient as well.

They finished the entire job in just two days which was amazing. They took one day to level and clear the area and another day to add in all of the pavers. Even though the project was probably more on the smaller end, the level of attention and detail David and his team provided was top notch. I would definitely reach out to David again for any future landscaping projects!

Ideal Engineering was hired to fix various issues with the pavers on our little community street - some were missing and the rest were uneven. From consultation to project completion, David and his crew listened to concerns and paid attention to ensure that residents were not inconvenienced. More importantly, they did an excellent job with the pavers! It is hard to tell which parts were the original and which were fixed. David personally came by to ensure his crew was on schedule and responded promptly to questions. The professionalism and the quality of work from David and his crew were truly unexpected and phenomenal!

David was very available for consultation along the way and kept in close touch while the work was being done. He recommended Agnes Tung of Muzik Design Studios, who helped guide our plant choices. His crew was easy to work with: efficient, communicative, flexible, patient with our questions.
Our project included a front and side yard redo (pulling up Mexican Feather Grass, planting new plants and shrubs, creating and improving flagstone paths and installing a new irrigation system), in addition to hardscaping a back area with flagstone and rock.
We are very pleased with the outcome and feel that we got a great value.

We were beyond thrilled with our new driveway. Everyone was so professional and kind, and they even made a huge effort to let us all out handprints into the wet concrete! I never thought concrete would make me so happy. The team went above and beyond, including fixing some downspout issues we were having. Highly recommend.

I just had a driveway installed by Doug and his crew. They did an excellent job and were meticulous about making sure everything was done right. Many people have commented on the obvious high quality of their work. They were very friendly and professional. The driveway is beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased! I had four different quotes and their price was in the middle.

Absolutely cannot recommend this company more! We hired Doug and crew for an old pool excavation job that integrated some landscaping elements. Alissa was so easy to communicate with in order to align on all details of the job up front. Once we signed our contract and work began, Doug and crew showed up on time each day TRULY went above and beyond our expectations of the job. They were so professional and hard working each day. I expected the job to last as a least a week or two but they got it done in about TWO days. I would absolutely hire them again. If you need concrete or excavation work done these are your people!

I have nothing but good things to say about Doug and the crew at Bill Lewis Cement. We lived through a disastrous situation with another contractor, who tore out our front porch steps and sidewalk and vanished (yes, unfortunately, with some of our money in hand). Winter was quickly encroaching, I had to have surgery, and I was dreading living without access to the front door. Doug gave us a very fair quote, and within two weeks, we had beautiful new steps and a sidewalk. Facing a situation where my mobility was going to be temporarily reduced, I literally cannot say enough thanks to Doug, Alissa, and the whole crew at Bill Lewis Cement. No need to look all over for a cement contractor, just call these wonderful folks!

Doug and his crew were great. I had a new drive way put in and new front stoop and side walk and back stoop. These guys are hard working and care about the job they do. I would recommend them. I'm looking to have them do my approach from the street next.
