Jerry and his crew installed a new driveway and walks at my home in Strongsville about 2 years ago and I decided to wait a while before leaving a review to see how their work would hold up.
These guys did a fantastic job! My only disappointment so far is that the apron end of the driveway is beginning to pit and scar a little.
I don't believe this to be the contractors responsibility though as over the past two winters city plow trucks have constantly pushed snow and salt into the apron when clearing the streets and this is very likely the cause as salt is horrible and can be destructive to concrete.
If you become a customer of Jerry's please remember to put a good heavy coating of concrete sealer down after driveway has cured and before winter arrives. I did this but evidently needed to lay the sealer a bit heavier closer to the street end of the drive.
Again these guys are very hard working, professional, reasonably priced and a pleasure to to do business with! Would definitely recommend them of use them again!

Jerry and his team are top notch! They do excellent work, listen to what the customer wants, are a fun team to have around while working, and do a great job cleaning up. They did a great job putting in a beautiful stamped concrete patio, smaller colored concrete patio, and concrete drive with stamped edges. Highly recommend this team!

Lozinak & Sons did a great job replacing my driveway, front porch stoop, a couple of sidewalk blocks, and stamped backyard patio of my mid-century home. They brought a large crew and lots of equipment, and finished the job in just a few days. All of the guys were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and were a pleasure to deal with.

I had recently reseeded my lawn, and was very pleased with how little damage was done to my yard in getting the project done.

They surprised me a little with some style choices that we hadn't discussed, but I really liked what they did. For example, the front stoop on the house previously required a step up for entry, but Lozinak put in a ramp instead. Also, I assumed that they were going to put a plain finish on the driveway like the one they replaced, but instead they did a gorgeous swirl pattern that really sets off the property. To me, these touches showed that Lozinak & Sons really care about the beauty and functionality of their work.

Prices were not cheap, but were fair. If I had to do the same thing all over again, I would pick Lozinak and Sons.

Jerry and his team are true professionals—experienced and hardworking. From start to finish, they made our ideas a reality. When they discovered rot under our stoop, they took care of it immediately at no extra charge and made sure it would last years to come.

They transformed our front yard with a stamped concrete patio beside the garage and a stamped walkway leading up to the house. I love the way it separates the driveway from the walkway. They also stained the stamped concrete a dark grey color which looks amazing.

They also addressed a long-standing issue with our garage threshold. The door used to sit unevenly, leaving gaps at both ends. Jerry’s crew removed the old concrete, cross-drilled into the existing slab, and added a raised step that not only prevents rain from entering but also allows the garage door to seal perfectly across the entire bottom. It’s a game-changer.

Our driveway, which spans three cars wide and two cars deep plus the apron, came out exactly as we envisioned and we couldn’t be happier with the final result.

We highly recommend Jerry and his team to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and honest service. They’re the kind of crew you hope to find but rarely do

The best contractor experience I've had to date. Full driveway replacement in Lakewood. Absolutely stunning results. Jerry and his crew are true professionals, everybody knows their job and they work as a well oiled machine. I appreciated that there was no swearing or yelling on the job site (little kids next door.) To address other reviews, Jerry is old school, if he doesn't respond to a text message, pick up the phone and call him. Also keep in mind that he's on a job site every day - so you might have to call twice. Jerry had the best price in town. We also had three fence posts for a gate that we needed installed - Jerry did that for no charge. A+, I'd give 10 stars if I could.

I'm not one to write reviews...so this is a high compliment! I want to thank Carmen & Son's for doing a such a great job on 2 pads we had poured in our backyard last week. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly and were very organized! The team kept moving, was professional and did a great job. We worked with them about 15 years ago and were pleased with their quality so brought them back and 15 years later another great job! Thanks again! I'd recommend them to anyone.

I contacted the owner Luke Carlisle they where doing work in the neighborhood. He did stop over and gave me a verbal ruff quote in May of 2023. In early June of 2023 I called and told his office staff I wanted to proceed with the Job . I was told I would be placed on the list with no date given. As I continued to call 888 Construction for current updates on the schedule. I was told the same thing I called each time . They are running behind due to weather. When I asked if I can talk to Luke I was told he is to busy to make calls back because he was using every waking moment doing work . In August I was told that I was scheduled in October of 2023 but could not give me a date . Late September we called again for a date in October and we were told that they would give us a call back that afternoon. Again no call back . On 10/2/2023 I received this email below

Sorry for the delay in reaching out, we have been out of town for a project in PA. Unfortunately, there has been a miscommunication. We had another customer with the last name Shay that was on the schedule, who had received an official quote and signed off on the amount on the typed up quote. While we gave you a verbal estimate, we had not measured out square feet or discussed finishing of the patio and cost. To get on our schedule you need to have an official quote with measurements in the system. There is a chance that we could get to you this year based on weather and current projects, if not it would likely be next spring. That being said, we would come out to do official measurements and get your quote in the system beforehand and then add you to the schedule from there. Let us know how you would like to proceed.

WE WASTED THE ENTIRE SUMMER WAITING FOR A DYSFUNCTIONAL COMPANY .

Recommended and tried to work with them. Spoke to Luke after numerous attempts (hmm, hint). Promised quote next day. Its been 2+ weeks AND numerous calls to his cell. Said if too small, just tell me.

Literally reached out 10+ times. I even said if too busy, let me know. On the one call, said no issue. Just want others to know my experience. Frustrating and one way, I am a pretty straight shooter.

Just dont appreciate the lack of respect.

We were very pleased from beginning to end with 880 Construction. Although it took longer than expected to have our driveway replaced, Vic was a man of his word and fit us into their busy schedule this year. The men on the crew were absolutely stellar, and we enjoyed having them around while they completed the work. Patience paid off, and I'd highly recommend this company to anyone looking for concrete work done.

Fantastic job installing my new lights in my dining room and entryway. The fixtures look great and the wiring was neat. Great communication from start to finish . Highly recommend.
