Blue Construction did an excellent job replacing by asphalt driveway with a concrete driveway. I am very please with their service and the quality of work. They offered a written proposal in day one and it was a competitive proposal. They have highly skilled crew and manager, specially, Nancy kept me updated throughout the project. Highly recommended.

Blue Construction replaced the floor in my garage. The work was done per the schedule. Large crew worked quickly to remove the old floor. New floor was poured a few days later. Finished floor looks very nice. Highly recommend them.

"Blue Construction Corp. recently completed the installation of a new concrete driveway and stairs at my property, and the finished result is visually appealing, even drawing positive attention from my neighbors who have requested their contact information. The initial communication from the company was also helpful, with a clear email outlining the schedule for the pour and providing essential guidelines for initial care, such as when it would be safe to walk and drive on the new surface.

However, my experience was somewhat mixed due to inconsistencies in communication after the initial stages. My inquiries regarding the reinstallation of the stair railing experienced significant delays in response, requiring multiple follow-ups. Furthermore, after the sealant application, a question I had for the office went unanswered via both phone and email. On the day of the sealant application, there was also a language barrier with the on-site crew, making it impossible to ask questions directly about the process.

In terms of professionalism, the crew appeared skilled and knowledgeable in their concrete work. However, an unusual incident occurred when they used my outdoor electrical outlet to power a microwave for their lunch, which felt out of place.

While the overall quality of the concrete seems good, I have noticed a small area on the driveway where water consistently pools after rainfall, which could potentially indicate a minor issue with the grading or surface.

The work site was cleaned up upon completion, which I appreciated. However, there was no prior communication about the cleanup schedule, leaving me uncertain about when to expect it.

Finally, as someone without prior experience with concrete work, I found the initial guidance on post-pour care, such as the watering instructions, to be vague. More detailed explanations and proactive information about the curing process and necessary steps would have been beneficial.

In conclusion, Blue Construction Corp. delivers a quality concrete product that is aesthetically pleasing. However, their communication processes need improvement to ensure timely and effective responses to customer inquiries and clearer guidance throughout the project. While I am satisfied with the final look of my driveway, the communication challenges and the unusual on-site incident leave me with a somewhat tempered overall recommendation.

They did a fantastic job. They were on time, did a quality job and were done on schedule.

Had my driveway done. Excellent job from scheduling all the way to the final inspection. Crews were working clean and organized. It took them one day to remove the 2500sf concrete, to remove old gravel and to replace with the new one, and they framed everything as well. Day 2 they used to pour the concrete. Day 3 to remove the framings. Day 4 to seal coat it. Thanks to Nancy, Felix and a crew. Well done!

Not only do we love our patio, it was a pleasant experience dealing with the crew all the way to the office staff. They kept a nice clean worksite and communication was great! We NEEDED a driveway. It looked as if we were going to have to go back with an asphalt drive, but we were able to replace it with concrete after we talked with Ruben from Blue Construction and received a very reasonable estimate.
I was impressed with the crews they sent out to do the work. They were very skilled and worked hard all day to rip out the old drive, expand and prep for the new drive - all in one day!
Two days later, an equally skilled crew of workers came to pour and finish the new concrete. Again, they did not stop until their job was completed - that’s when they took their lunch break - well into the afternoon! They also needed to build in different pitches for water movement around the house due to it being the lowest in the cul-de-sac. This was certainly the biggest issue we needed to accomplish! Done!
Blue Const. has a well organized admin group, too! They have several members assigned to handle the different aspects of the project: one for proposals, one for permits, one for scheduling, and so on. Even with this many steps, they worked in sync with each other and made the entire process go extremely smooth!
We are very happy with the quality of work, the professionalism of all of the staff and the price we paid! I’ll definitely use Blue Construction for future projects and have already shared their contact info to some of my neighbors! Thanks Blue!!

The guys at Blue did a great job building a new porch and walkway for us. We did have a small issue but it was immediately taken care of. I would use them again. And highly recommend them. A+ Blue Construction.

We had Blue Construction pour 2 stamped patios for us. We couldn't be happier with the results. The patios look great and we are constantly getting comments about them. From start to finish, the process was smooth and without issue. They were also able to handle an obstacle we were having with the gutters. I highly recommend. We will definitely be using them again for any concrete projects.

I worked with Blue Construction over the last 3 months on two major projects, one for my driveway and the other for a patio. They are easy to work with, run all the permits on their own, and do a great job. I've gotten several compliments by anyone that sees the work.

Where do I begin? Sometimes I get so excited when there’s dazzling and tantalizing reviews to post, I forget where to start!
I found Blue Construction on Facebook Marketplace. Out of three inquiries for a concrete and landscape job posted on Facebook, Blue Construction was the only company to respond immediately. The owner Felix showed up the next day to provide an estimate on a fairly large project. Despite my best efforts, I had nothing to offer Felix other than crude visions in my brain translated into words. I did my best to explain what we wanted - a mountain of new concrete to replace a weary, dreary, rotting wood deck and crumbling paver stairs and sidewalks around the house. I asked about better back yard drainage so my sump will last more than a year, and some decent landscaping to hide the annoying array of ghastly pipes, vents, and twisty wires plastered to the back of the house. I also wanted to replace a very tired fire pit. Felix took notes, patiently listened, and made a few laps around the house, examining his blank canvas. When he was finished, his words I best remember were, “I will do a good job for you.”
Two truckloads of concrete, dirt, gravel, rocks, rebar, shrubs, questions here and there, various trenches and pipes, and a few short days later, the results were far beyond what I had ever imagined or expected. I stood in awe, hands on hips, shaking my head in disbelief. My slow, teary-eyed clapping and cheering was difficult to suppress. All I wanted to do was follow Felix and his crew around giving out hugs. The wife was annoyed with my starstruck fanboy phase of this project. Between the beautiful hand-picked landscape, expertly formed stairs, and stamped concrete that looks so much like hand-laid stone, neighbors were spreading rumors I was mafioso. How could he afford such luxury, he’s on the take, he looks like that bank robbery suspect I saw on TV, and blah, blah, blah.
But it was Felix and Blue Construction that truly fooled everyone. Their stamped concrete work is artful and impeccable, their project communication constant. The Blue Construction crew worked extremely hard in harsh conditions to get this job done in less than two weeks. Their prices were fair and honest, and I will say this in closing — you are not simply paying for “work” and “materials.” What you are truly paying for is the result of 40+ years of experience, solid work ethics, and trade skills that are unmatched at this level. If you want it done right the first time, every time, call Blue Construction. They will not disappoint you.

Excellent communication, gave quote quickly, got project scheduled as soon as permit was obtained. Did a clean and quality job at a fair price. Even the inspector said this company is the best in the area, and we couldn’t be happier.

Crew worked hard and results showed. Driveway (with the California) finish looks great. Sidewalk to my front stoop was sinking so a couple of slabs were removed and replaced with a slight slope to the front stoop. If you need concrete work done, check out Blue Construction. I recommend!
