NEW POST-Olshan did such a good job on my basement I hired them again to replace my concrete front stairs. They called and asked to come a day earlier and that was unexpected and great for my schedule. The crew arrived on time removed the old stair and replaced the new and were done by 5:00 pm. They cleaned up leaving the front if my house looking like it did when they arrived. I want to thank Jorge Aguirre and his crew for being professional and doing an excellent job. If I need additional cement work I will definitely request Jorge and his crew.The stairs look great!!!
I live in Olathe Kansas so I contacted the Olshan in Raytown Missousi. Keith May came to my home to evaluate the cause of a flooded basement. Keith determined I needed wall shields, J-drain a grate and drain in my crawl spce and a sump pump. I reviewed a vrry reasonable quote and was able to schedule the work for the next week.

I was contacted by Gabriel and told he would arrive with his crew between 8 and 9 am the following day. When they arrived they covered my washer and dryer, the stairs and a sheet to keep dust from entering our living space.

It took Gabriels crew 1 1/2 days to complete the job and when they were through they cleaned up.

Gabriel kept me informed through the process. The crew was professional and courteous.

Gabriel and his crew Cordero Rail, Leonardo Trujillo and Carlos Ruiz did a great job and would recommend them to anyone.

Our experience with Olshan was excellent from start to finish! From Heath coming promptly to assess our situation and quote us a very reasonable price, to Chance and his crew of Carlos, Jose, Nelylin, Angel, Juan & Jorge who diligently and professionally installed 12 piers, all went extremely well! We have already referred Olshan to another party.

Martin Bello and Archie Hines arrived on time and were professional and informative. They leveled the driveway, sidewalk and two back patios. They politely asked to move items on the patio and put them back. They cleaned up and were completed in a timely manner.

Very pleased with the work performed and the professionalism of the crew. Martin Bello, Idaquer Gonzalez and Gorge Mateo were super nice and did a great job. Fixed my sidewalk, driveway and leveled up a crack in my basement floor. Job well done!

Update: They called and said they would see about someone coming out to make a list of what needed to be done and see what they could do. We approved payment, and trusted Olshan. And, nothing happened....no one called or came over. Do not use Olshan. Shame on them.

They started working on our home the end of April and it has just been one problem after another. I contacted the salesman, through an email and was quite upset because what he told us and what was being done was 2 different things. The wrong size support beam was put in and the wooden support beams were supposed to be metal adjustable beams.

We were told piers would be going in, in the basement corner. They actually tore up half of our concrete patio and put the piers in. They left for the day and left a huge hole under our house with no support. They left our basement door open and didn't shut it, because the house was sagging the door could not be shut. There was a hole that I could stick my hand through as well next to the door. I took pictures and I emailed them to the salesman because we could not just leave our basement door open or have this hole in our house that animals could come in our house through. I heard nothing. My husband used a crow bar to pry and pull the door shut. And we covered the hole the best that we could.

We were also told that we had to now move our plumbing for the wall to be torn down and rebuilt. Originally, the salesman had told us that our plumbing wasn't going to be an issue because it wasn't in the wall.

The NEXT day, the salesman emailed me and said that he contacted the guys about my door not shutting but they were already home for the evening. Then he asked me if we had a plumber we could call. I told him we did not. This was not part of our budget in this because we were told our plumbing was fine where it was. He did not address any of my other concerns in my email.

So, a few days later, Olshan sent a plumber. The plumbers disconnected everything. A drain broke on one of the sinks, which was fine because it was old. However, no one came back to hook our drain system back up and it leaked. It leaked for weeks. We kept thinking someone was going to come back and hook up our drain system. So we finally had to take the rest of the plumbing out and the sinks. Had they sent someone back to hook up the draining system we could have just put a new drain on the sink. Today, June 9th, we were told they would not be putting the drain back in. So we can not put our toilet or sink back in!

They did replace the wooden beams, with adjustable house jacks. House jacks are temporary, but we were told these are what they use for permanent beams.

They tore down the wall and rebuilt it. They put a floor jack on top of our floor drain and our pvc line that drains from our furnace/ac unit has had no where to drain for the past month, except onto the floor!

The hole that was created from the house sagging they just put shims in it. It has been constantly wet and so has the wall on the other side. They didn't do something correct because water is running into the house now instead of away from it.

We were also told that we needed to have piers under our kitchen that it was also an addition to the house. And that the piers would also raise our kitchen and make it almost level. The piers did nothing at all to our kitchen floor.

Our basement door still doesn't close correctly, we are stuck with no plumbing in our basement because we have to hire someone to put back in the drain system, we have new leaks that are causing new damage that we didn't have before this whole thing started, they tore up part of the ceiling where they tore out and rebuilt the wall, the kitchen floor is the same, etc... They tore up part of the existing wall attached to the concrete wall they replaced. We just tore it out and decided we would just rebuild it ourselves just like the plumbing, we will have to do ourselves.

This is a very expensive and disappointing experience. I would not recommend Olshan to anyone at this point.

We had a great experience with Matt Neal from Olshan Foundation. Before finding him, we scheduled another foundation company that never even showed up, so our expectations were honestly pretty low. Matt completely turned that around.

He was extremely professional, responsive, and respectful of our time. He showed up when he said he would, performed a very thorough inspection, and most importantly explained everything in a way that was clear, relatable, and easy to understand. No confusing jargon, no pressure, just honest information.

Overall, Matt was fantastic to work with and we would absolutely recommend him and Olshan Foundation to anyone needing foundation work or an inspection.

Olshan Foundation Repair is a GREAT service. I worked with Melissa as the foundation inspector and Thomas as the team lead doing the repair. They were both absolutely incredible. Melissa was super available and made sure all my questions (and I ask a lot of questions) were answered quickly and accurately. Thomas was the same way, incredible patience as I asked a lot of questions and the quality of work his team did was INCREDIBLE.

There was a bit of a communication issue regarding my solution, but they were quick to to respond and went above and beyond to make the solution even better than we had originally discussed at no extra charge. 10/10 would recommend this company and specifically these two individuals to anyone.

We had a huge vertical crack in our wall. Unlike many other company's that tried to sell us on a HUGE project jacking our foundation up, Mel did not try and scare or oversell us, gave us the exact solution we needed to address the issue at hand. The work took about an hour even with the adjustments to the solution. Thomas made sure I was satisfied with the quality before leaving. Highly professional and personable.

We needed these guys to come bust up some concrete so we could install our own drain tile. They sent a team out that did the job very quick.

I would say the price was a little steep but we were in a hurry and they were the ones who could get it done the fastest so can't really knock them.

The communication was hit or miss sometimes. Could not get a hold of the guy they sent out but he seemed like a busy man so.

Just have to remember this is a buisness and they will try to sell you things you might not necessarily need. Just make sure before you do foundation work pay like $400 to hire an independent structural engineer to evaluate your issue. The little bit of money on them could save you getting ripped off.

Overall if you know what you need and this company does the work they have a good reputation.

Patrick was our sales rep/estimator. It was great that he had been with Olshan actually installing the product because it was so easy for him to explain the work that needed to be done.
Gabriel was the team supervisor. He was very easy to work with and gave me a lot of confidence that his team was up to doing everything they could to lift and stabilize our foundation as Patrick explained. He introduced me to Gerardo, Edgar, Enrique and Leonardo and they all put in a lot of hard work to get all of our piers installed. They also cleaned up our basement really well.

Olshan did a thorough job from start to finish. We live in North Kansas City, MO. Patrick, who provided us with the initial estimate, followed through with all the details. Gabriel, the lead for the crew ( included Gerardo, Edgar, Enrique and Leonardo) who actually did the entire project, was incredibly professional and very thorough with his continued communication throughout the project. We were very pleased with the work conducted and truly appreciated the complete cleanup of the mess that had been created digging (16), 3x3 holes in our basement foundation. They had to lift our home 2" on one corner of the house, and 1" on the opposite corner. We own a very large, older ranch home. They will also be back one year from the initial project to remeasure everything to make certain that the work completed in 2025 would be secure. I requested this follow-up visit with them and they obliged immediately.

After gathering multiple quotes from many different businesses, I felt very comfortable and confident in choosing Olshan. My specialist Jacob was honest and very helpful, explaining to me all of my options and what would be the best recommendation. I did not once feel like I was being over sold to for things I did not need. I chose to have two sump pumps installed and new supports. Other companies wanted to sell me everything they offered with scare tactics, or very little for almost the same price.

When the team arrived they were friendly and professional. Gabriel, the supervisor, made sure to check in frequently letting me know how things were progressing. The entire team was great: Geraldo, Leo, Trujillo, Candelario, and Enrique. They kept the yard in good repair and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly.

My husband called Olshan Kansas City for a bid for cracks in our basement foundation. Matt was thorough and professional, and we went with him instead of getting more bids. The crew was able to come several days before their initial scheduled date, which was great. Jacob, Jose, Carlos, and Isaac repaired the cracks as I had discussed with Matt. They were careful about tracking in dirt, cleaned up when done, and went over the repairs that were made. We are happy with the service that Olshan Foundation Solutions gave.

I had a great experience with the company salesman Clint and the crew Gerardo , Odilio , Leonardo , Trujillo , and Cordero as well as with there Supervisor Gabriel. From the time they arrived till the time they left the men were constantly working i don't believe i have seen a harder working team. They dug the holes raised the building supported the building foundation and back field the holes. They cleaned the work aera and left it in great condition. Extremally happy with the work this team performed. And all this as the crew came from Raytown Mo to Wichita Ks.

We needed our front concrete sidewalk lifted as it had settled around 6 inches away from the front steps and porch. All of the companies from which we received estimates recommended polymer lifting as it is unmatched in its durability and longevity. Ultimately we decided to go with Olshan as they were the lowest cost option while still being knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. For those of you also looking to have concrete lifting done, be aware that all companies using polymer have a minimum volume of product they have to consume per job. It is an excellent product but there is a minimum cost per job solely due to the nature of the product.

Fast forward to the day of installation. Martin, Antonio, Gorge, Carlos, and Estiven showed up to my house early and were extremely professional and polite as they walked me through the process and prepared to begin work. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of work. Not only did the sidewalk get lifted back into place, but they filled all of the voids in my front porch and grouted the old crack where the sidewalk had separated from the front porch. It looks as good as new again. A little bit of dirt over the polymer that is showing and you'll never be able to tell! Incredible craftsmanship. Thanks so much Martin and Olshan!

Jeff Wolfe came out to inspect our property and give us an estimate. After a thorough inspection and review, Jeff told us the issues we were noticing did not require intervention at this time. Jeff was forthcoming, honest and sincerely knew his job. We have no way of knowing if we needed foundation repair or not. He could’ve told us we did and sold us whatever but he was honest and explained everything in layman’s terms. In my opinion, Olshan is a quality company and employs qualified professionals to represent them. Olshan goes to the front of the line! Not many companies and salesman in this day and age are this forthcoming and honest. Recommend without reservation. G Stevens

Martin and his crew did a great job lifting my driveway. They were professional and courteous, very easy to work with.

Nick-Mario-Reynaldo-Gonzalo-Carloss were an exceptional crew. came in got the work done quick, were respectful and cleaned up after the job! Jamie has been a great receptions handling all my calls and payments and kudos to Jacob and Armando for dealing with me when i was not quite the easiest customer to deal with. All in all a great company. superior customer service-quality products- and superb team coordination.

We were very satisfied with the work they did for us. We are in the Belton, MO area and had to have 5 piers, both inside and outside, installed in the front of our house. Made me nervous having to dig up the bedroom floor! But by the time Gabriel and his team(Leo, Gerardo,Trujillo and Candelarro) finished up, it was unbelievable! They were clean, respectful and kept us well informed start to finish. They definitely know what they're doing. Would absolutely refer them to friends and neighbors.

After having multiple foundation repair companies come out and look at our foundation we ended up choosing Olshan and their water lock plus technology. Martin, Idnquel, Carlos, Gorge, and Leo did a great job on the project. They were respectful, provided very high quality work, and were efficient. The job site was very clean after they finished as well. I highly recommend Olshan and their crew!

I do not recommend doing business with this company. You can check out the included photos to get an idea of what you can expect from a standard Olshan drainage solution installation and decide for yourself if this is a job you would pay $7500 for. I expect no resolution from this business. I am writing this review because while this is frustrating for me, for elderly or disabled people on fixed incomes this kind of situation could potentially be devastating.

I had Olshan out on May 30th to install a drainage system, bury 5 downspouts, and poly-level a portion of my driveway and a concrete walkway.

- At no point was I notified that there were any issues/changes during the installation until they had already packed up to leave at the end of the day and everything was done. I was then informed by the man in charge of the crew that they ran out of materials and were only able to bury 4/5 downspouts. The leader of the crew was unable to answer my questions due to a language barrier, and told me to contact the office.

- I was sold different equipment than what was installed. The salesman led me to believe I was purchasing exclusive low-profile drainage basins similar to those featured in their ads and the product brochure I was given. What they installed on May 30th were giant mosquito bucket basins. They also did not install standard NDS pop-up's at the end of any of the drains as I was told. They installed what appear to actually be 4 inch catch drains with random holes sawzalled into them. None of the basins or drains were installed with gravel sinks, just thrown into holes at odd angles.

- All of the catch basins and the downspouts were installed lower than the drains they connected to. They were full of putrid, stagnant mosquito water at all times because they could not drain and even tiny amounts of rain caused water to pour from my gutters and the catch basins and downspout drains to flood. This caused erosion to the soil around them, and the mosquitos were so bad we could no longer hang out in our yard. No amount of dunks in the basins helped.

- while the crew was working and using an extension cord in my garage, they somehow overloaded the circuits which fried my garage door opener.

- While digging a trench for one of the downspouts they cut the electric line to my shed.

When I attempted to address these concerns with my salesman, he ghosted me. I was able to get in touch with the office manager at Olshan and they scheduled a production manager to come visit and review the work that was done on June 10th. The production manager agreed with my concerns and told me he would be submitting a report and would get back to me with a solution.

The solution proposed consisted of re-working the installed materials (that are not what I purchased, and not the right product for my situation) to see if they could possibly make it work. I am not interested in getting into an endless service call situation, and based on all of the other red flags, I did not trust having Olshan back at my home to "fix" anything. I requested a refund and offered to let them take the materials if they wanted them. What I received in return was an angry phone call from the general manager, Aaron Goucher, where he yelled at me and my husband for daring to request a refund and was generally threatening and unpleasant. He also refused to acknowledge the damage to my garage and shed and the substandard work done by his crew.

I have since restored my house on my own. I came out of my own pocket to fix the garage and shed, restore the above-ground downspouts, and remove all of the materials Olshan installed. The mosquitos are gone, my gutters work properly, and my yard is no longer a swampy mess.

I think these franchise foundation company salesmen are selling snake oil for top dollar, then sending out untrained and underpaid laborers to do shoddy, negligent work. I am fortunate that this issue was fixable (for me) and I feel deeply for the folks who have had their homes and wellbeing compromised.
