Reviews of local pros in Bloomfield, Connecticut

I hired Rivera Brothers to handle the labor for my front steps and walkway, based on a design I created. The finished steps and walkway turned out as I envisioned and I'm pleased with how it all came together. I would recommend them to anyone in need of reliable, skilled labor for similar projects.

Called them day of the blizzard and they were able to come out and clear my driveway. Also very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!!

Rivera brothers did an amazing job clearing out a huge area of invasive plants in my yard! Looks like a brand new yard! I would highly recommend them!

After dealing with a wet backyard for years, we reached out to Rivera Brothers for a solution. We received a date to assess the problem quickly. We were able to get suggestions on moving water away from the foundation and resolve the potential flooding threat. Suggestions included having downspouts feed water into the existing drain at the back of the property along with installing a box that would also move water away from the sliders of our 4 seasons room to the back drain. This was compled in time for today's 2-4" rain storm. The before pictures (1 & 3) occurred during a level 2 rain storm.

Rivera Brothers Landscaping did an amazing job on our failed retaining wall. We couldn’t be more pleased with how the new wall came out! Highly recommend this business- they were professional, job was done in a timely manner, and the quality of their work cannot be beat!

Oscar and his team were great to work with.
Fast and efficient, the landscaping project looks great. Their professionalism, punctuality in finishing the project and pricing were all exceptional. If you live in the area I highly recommend going with his company.

Oscar and crew did an amazing job on our new outdoor kitchen. It wasn’t a huge job and yet they made time for us and created a beautiful look and also added stone to our foundation so it would blend into the kitchen design. I would highly recommend them!

Oscar and his team did a wonderful job redoing our walkway and driveway. They were professional, fast and did a really great job. Highly recommend!

We had our lifetime 8x15 foot shed landscaping done by the Rivera brothers landscaping. It was done so amazing, we had them redo our walk out patio pavers. They also did such an impressive and wonderful job, we decided to have them help us realize our dream backyard. We had a stamped patio installed for our new large Costco hot tub and we wanted to surround the whole patio, the new rock retaining wall, and the back side of our house with beautiful landscaping. We wanted it surrounded completely by 4 feet of bluestone chips, along with 10 maiden grass plants and 5 little zebra grass plants. Rivera landscaping spend a whole ten hour day with three guys installing everything! They went above and beyond and did an amazing job! I would use them for any landscaping and Oscar was the best person I have ever worked with as a contractor! Trust them to do a great job for you, and the workers are incredibly happy and helpful. Thank you Rivera Brothers Landscaping!

I would just like to update my review. I cannot tell you how happy or satisfied I am with Oscar and all of the workers he has working for him in his landscaping company. I had him come back for doing more stone and landscaping work around my two front trees, and around to redo some work on the previous landscaping. It all came out amazing! Plus I also had him help me with a leak in my concrete foundation, and he sealed it up Beautifully all within one day. I commend and thank Oscar and his crew! They do an amazing job and I will be using him as my landscaper for many years to come! Muchas Gracias! Michael L. 🙏👍🙏

I have been a client of City Services for many years, TJ is always there to answer questions that you may have, the crew is polite and performs a great job, weather it’s landscaping, patios, snow plowing City Services is number one!!

City Services replaced a walkway, a retaining wall and repaired another walkway at my home. The process and end results exceeded my expectations, very well executed. I highly recommend this landscape service.

The service provided by TJ and his crew were fabulous! The quality of work, completion of project , and professionalism of the employees were all top notch. I highly recommend City Services for your home landscaping projects.

Have to give them a nod. My snowblower died during this last storm leaving me with a long, uphill driveway to clear. One of my neighbors had a nice clean driveway and I called them to see if they could give me a reference. It was for City Services. As it turned out they were still in the area and got to me quicker than I expected. Very professional people. They got everything cleared quickly and did a good job. Nothing damaged, no plowed up lawn even though I have a difficult driveway that they were unfamiliar with. My nieghbor says they're worth it every time and I agree. Nice people too.

I contacted City Services after admiring their meticulous work on several new properties in Avon. TJ responded promptly and came to my home to develop a plan to maintain and enhance the landscape. Further, he reduced our discussion to a concise agreement and has delivered on all of its terms. This is a professionally run company that I can trust.

I used City services to facilitate a very large project at my home in Wethersfield. They put together a very well thought out design, and implemented the project just as they said they would. My house has been totally transformed we love our new outdoor living space. The outdoor kitchen is used daily in the summer, and our guests really enjoy our new landscaping. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to do a project and are unsure who to call..

I Have dealt with City services for over 13 years. They are very professional , conscientious and produce a great product . I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for any and all of your landscape design and care. From taking care of your lawn and garden and snow removal. To design and building your patio, your walkway, your walls and steps . They do a great job.

Amazing business! Pricess are great, wonderful service & extremely professional. I had a huge cleanup in my backyard & they did an amazing job. I highly recommend them.

They did an excellent job on short notice completely removing two season's worth of overgrowth in our front yard and flower bed before a house party. Easy to work with, flexible, and a great job.
