Reviews of local pros in Canton, Connecticut

We finished recently used ZN to finish our basement. Zac and team were responsive and very thorough. I was impressed with the time and detail they took throughout the quoting and planning process - something that other contractors did not do. ZN stayed within budget, communicated status of each step of a very large project and was always available for questions or tweaks/changes to our decisions. We will be using ZN again for future projects!

We used ZN to do a full remodel of our kitchen. Included cabinets, countertops, appliances and repairs to our damaged hardwood floors from water! Their attention to detail is remarkable! The cabinet install, trim work and tile backsplash install was amazing! The whole team were great to deal with. Communication was exceptional and they left the house clean after every day. Chad and Eric were exceptional to deal with and felt they were a part of the family when they were here. Zac and Joe were great with details about how the progress of the project was going! We highly recommend ZN and will be using them in the future for a bathroom remodel as well as a deck renovation!

The team from ZN are fantastic. We had ZN install our new kitchen after a water issue. The team are responsive, professional and friendly. Every day they showed up on time and left the house and working areas clean and organized. The quality of work is excellent and was finished faster than we expected. We are very happy with their work and we would use them again and recommend them to others.

Everything about our experience with ZN Construction was positive - timely responses, personal attention, great skilled staff. We can't say enough about their communication. They always let us know when they would be at our home and arrived within minutes of when they had said. We received regular check-ins from the owner and a crew member even made sure we had a back-up phone number for one of them when Zac was away. The crew were very easy to work with, very skilled, and meticulous in their cleaning each day. We would definitely use ZN Construction again.

We highly recommend ZN Construction. We have used them for two projects over the past couple of years and they are the perfect fit for us. Zac and his crew are all very courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and are really good at what they do. They perform stellar work and their attention to detail is impecable. In addition to other things, we had some in wall electrical work done (running the electrical throughout two of the three walls of our finished garage) and we were extemely impressed with the drywall repair and mud work that Chad and the other ZN workers did. Their repair and mud work was so good that even without painting the walls yet, you almost can't tell that the walls were even opened. Unlike some contractors we reached out to who never responded, ZN Construction has always contacted us back. We were able to easily discuss the project plans via email, in person, and on the phone. They genuinely care about you as a customer and accomplishing the projects that you are looking to have done the right way and without cutting corners. They treat you more as a friend and not just a number, don't rush the job, and follow up to make sure you are happy with everything. We believe that they will have many years of success as their crew is the perfect fit for the company and everyone seems to take pride in the high quality work they do for their customers.

I recently hired ZN construction to renovate my kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and professional.

The ZN team were extremely knowledgeable and skilled, offering valuable advice and suggestions throughout the project. They were always punctual, respectful of my home, and kept me updated on the progress.

The quality of their workmanship is top-notch. My new kitchen looks absolutely stunning, and I've received countless compliments from friends and family. I appreciate the attention to detail and the care they put into every aspect of the job.

I would highly recommend ZN Construction to anyone looking for a reliable and talented contractor. Thank you for transforming my kitchen into a beautiful and functional space!

ZN Construction exceeded all expectations from the initial contact to the completion of our structural repair/full kitchen remodel. We had extensive water damage including a rotted sill plate and deteriorated wall that was exposing our siding. ZN stepped in and made the repairs and full kitchen remodel seamless. Their precision and attention to detail made us feel at ease every step of the way. Chad and Kevin were very professional and meticulous when working each day. Zac, Chad and Kevin were easy to work with, always let us know what they were doing next and were right on schedule. Thank you for giving us our home back. We are very grateful.

ZN Construction recently completed replacement of several large windows and doors in our home. Work was started and completed on schedule. Their workmanship and professionalism is highly commendable. We are extremely happy with the finished project and highly recommend this company. We plan to use ZN Construction with future remodeling projects.

We recently bought a new home that had some roof issues and solicited a few bids to have it replaced. Out of the 3 bids, ZN Construction was not the lowest but he offered premium materials and warranties we were looking for in this size of a purchase. Zac was able to start the job very promptly and the crew worked diligently to complete the job in a timely manner. Toward the end of the roofing job, we all examined areas of the roof that needed a little extra attention and those were taken care of immediately. I was impressed with the clean up from the crew, they were very diligent in sweeping the area around the house and especially the driveway for nails and debris. Incredibly happy the previous issues are gone and the look of the GAF HDZ shingles look great. Now I probably need to paint in the spring so the rest of the house looks good. Thanks again Zac & crew!

Not only did ZN Construction complete our extensive kitchen remodel on time and within the estimated budget, they did it with impeccable workmanship and great communication. Throughout our renovation, Zac and his team stayed in contact with us to keep us updated and address our concerns. Eric and Mike checked in with us every morning, were always willing to answer questions and left everything clean and organized at the end of each day. Even months later, Zac still checks in to see if we have noticed any issues that need to be addressed. We could not be happier with both the way the project went and the finished result.

We recently had ZN update a bathroom and install custom built-ins in two rooms in our house and they did an amazing job - we highly recommend them. They communicated well at every stage of the process. They provided a rough estimate early on when I could barely get other contractors to respond and as they finished projects ahead of us in the queue, Zac was in regular contact about a start date (which they were able to move up). They treated our home like their own, keeping the mess to a minimum, and by the end of the project even our dog was sad to see them go. There were a few unavoidable change of orders needed and they adapted seamlessly and provided options to keep costs down. What stood out the most was Chad and Kevin's passion for their work and their craftsmanship. They wanted to get everything right, offering lots of great ideas for the design of the built-ins and incorporating every feature we wanted. The entire process from start to finish was smooth and we have no doubts that we'll be enjoying their work for years to come. ZN is the best contractor we've ever worked with. Definitely check them out.

ZN Construction rennovated my bathroom. They tiled the tub/shower, added a new bathtub, installed a glass shower door, installed new bathtub/shower fixtures and added tile from floor to ceiling.

This was a great experience. ZN gave me a solid, well constructed, quality finished project that’s truly stunning. From start to finish everything was seamless. They were on time, took care working in the house and cleaned at the end of every day. Communication was excellent and the work was efficient. Thanks to Eric and Ryan for their tiling expertise and craftsmanship (truly gorgeous result) Joe who was always engaged and responsive and Anna for showcasing the process and projects. I will absolutely use ZN for all my rennovation projects.

We’re finalizing a project with ZN and we have had the absolute best experience. We wanted a whole house renovation and the team delivered well beyond our expectations. Joe was amazing to work with from the initial quoting process through planning and execution. He was patient and knowledgeable anytime I had questions. When the work began we met the full team and we were blown away by their professionalism and attention to detail. Ryan was an incredible project manager, onsite every day and in constant communication with us. He also was great anytime I needed design advice! We also had Mike, Eric and Kevin on our job and they were all so friendly, helpful and meticulous. I have raved to family and friends about our experience and will absolutely be calling ZN for any and all future projects. Zac - you have one hell of a team. Thank you!

ZN Construction and crew did a fabulous job with our new roof and new siding! They were dependable, on time, attentive to detail, clean, friendly and, in particular, professional and extremely efficient! I would highly recommend Zac Neville and the crew at ZN Construction! I will definitely be calling them for future projects!

Zac and his crew are extremely professional and very quick with their work. Each time I have worked with them they did amazing work, explained everything to me, and addressed any of my concerns. They are my #1 choice for projects around the house. The owner, Zac, always made sure to personally speak with me to make sure I was happy with their work!

Zac and his team are professional, friendly and great at their craft. They did an amazing job on our kitchen floor and backsplash as well as on our master shower. Even after the job was done, they went above and beyond by coming back to fix a user error. I highly recommend Zac and his team and look forward to welcoming them back for more projects!

I've been working on various small and large projects with ZN construction for the last few years and will say I wouldn't turn to anyone else to help get a job done correctly, timely, and most importantly with integrity. The jobs are explained clearly and the communication is second to none. I have had small jobs like sheet rock repair all the way to a kitchen remodel and everything has always been above and beyond. Thank you ZN team for all the hard work over the years!

ZN construction was great they started when they said they were gonna start they finished when they said they were gonna finish. The cost of the project never changed. Every day the room they were working on was always clean. The rest of the house was tidied up. I would definitely recommend to friends and neighbors and I always like supporting a veteran owned company.

Zac and the ZN team did an excellent job renovating our upstairs bathroom! They were professional, reliable, and completed high quality work. They made the process enjoyable and provided the refresh we were hoping for. Highly recommend ZN!

This is the second time we have used ZN Construction. This second project was a big one - demolishing our old deck with corner pergola and two unsafe staircases to build a new screened in deck complete with new stairs, door, lighting, fan and gutters. The team was there every single day - much different than other contractors who you never know when they are coming or going. Everyone was very professional, friendly, and just did an overall amazing job. Zac checks in over time to make sure everything is still going well even after the job is done. We couldn't be happier with our new space! We will absolutely be calling Zac in the future for our next project and anything going forward.

We were both very pleased with the work performed by ZN Construction for our kitchen remodel project. Their project planning and professionalism displayed through all phases was outstanding. They kept us informed of the work to be done each week and gave us advance notice to clear space when needed to do our part to keep things moving along and on schedule. Their notable support included the use of equally professional subcontractors, including the electricians, plumber and hardwood flooring refinishers. They also kept in contact with our window replacement project manager to plan around their scheduled installation dates for new windows, as well as with Showcase Kitchens for availability of punch list cabinet material items to pick up & install. From promptly arriving at same time each morning to a thorough clean up at day's end, everything went smoothly each & every day until the job was a wrap. We highly recommend Zac and all members of his contractors team and look forward to contacting again for our next improvement project!
