From the beginning to end, my experience with West Electric has been and continues to be extremely positive and easy. Ashley and Katelyn were cheerful, kind, polite and helpful. They are extremely knowledgeable about solar, answering every question that we had and then some! I have felt very comfortable all along the way. Working with West Electric, and Ui, and now this beautiful solar system on my roof, allows me the freedom to be a part of the energy answer and gives me energy choices that I would not have had in the future without this program. Every single one of the West Electric install crew was professional, cheerful and accommodating. I highly recommend West Electric and solar for everyone!

West end electric was the preferred electrician from my car dealership. When I bought my new electric vehicle they gave me a credit and said here are the electricians to do the job. I was completely unaware that these guys were the most professional in the entire industry, not only from right off at the start they immediately reached out and got this project from start to finish within the week. We had some hiccups from a third party scheduling application and the owner of the business made it right! He knew that we valued our time getting this charger in the house ASAP over some complicating hoops to jump through and took the time and initiative to get the job done! Far as the installation goes, the man who came out was absolutely a pleasure to deal with in and out and under a few hours without a single speck of dust or screws or electrical wire to be seen. Very clean, very professional and it left me feeling like they were confident in what they were doing, especially with a very high-end high voltage electric job. Shout out to you guys West electric!

Awesome experience! Everyone was outstandingly professional and considerate. From Anthony who setup the service appointment and provided so much knowledge about Charging Stations to the two individuals, Trevor and David, who installed the charger, they were all amazing! Kimberley, officer administrator, was also wonderful!
Had a chance to connect with the owner for a moment and he was great as well!

I browsed around for quite a bit looking for a quote to have an EV charger installed in my home, and I can say by far that West Electric is the best value you can find anywhere. The work was done expeditiously, the folks I interacted with were incredibly professional, and the final product looks fantastic and functions perfectly. Everything was explained to me in detail so that I understood the process, and great care was taken to adapt my panel to the situation. Ed himself even took the time to help me deal with an annoying bank issue I had when paying. You don't get that kind of care anywhere these days. Really, really appreciated it, and cannot recommend West Electric enough!! Thank you again!

We recently took the journey to solar energy production at our home in Enfield CT.
It began with an initial meeting with “Solar” Bob, who is very knowledgeable about converting to solar and the benefits of doing so. He responded to our questions and quelled any doubts we may have had.
West Electric was very responsive in guiding us through the design and install of the entire system. They communicated every step and organized all inspections to a positive end.
We are now “live” producing solar energy from our roof panels.
It looks great, produces great results and from the beginning of this journey, starting with Bob, who walked us through the steps and the Solar team at West Electric, led by Ed, we couldn’t be more pleased!

I recently bought an electric car and had been trying to find a local electrician to install a 50A circuit for a 14-50 outlet for its charger. I called more than 10 local electricians and nobody got back to me. I don't think it's common that electricians in this are do this kind of work even though it's pretty standard work. This company has installed tons of these kinds of outlets/chargers. They have a ton of experience here and it shows.

Unlike everyone else, Ed got back to me immediately. I showed him the job over facetime to get a quote and they were at my house within a week putting it in (this was after WEEKS of nobody even calling me back to talk about the job).

The guys were awesome. Arrived right on time. My job wasn't the most standard and they were still in and out in 2 hours. They are real tradesmen in an era where this is increasingly hard to find. The finished product in my garage is professional looking and works perfectly. I can't recommend them enough!! I am looking forward to using this company for a few other electrical jobs in my house.

10/2023 update
Just wanted to update my review. Since the initial installation, West Electric has come back out to do a couple more jobs. Last summer they installed a new pool automation system for me (and fixed a short to my pool lights in the process that my pool company wanted to charge me $4000 for replacement lights).

They also just came back out this week to install a second EV charger. As expected, they were on time, installation went smoothly, and everything is working great. This is one of those companies that you find and never look elsewhere for another electrician. These guys are great!

West Electric did an excellent job in installing a 60 Amp level 2 home charging station inside my Garage. Ed & Crew, Ed Sr, and Ryan arrived on time and did a clean professional install. I tested the charger after they left and everything worked perfectly. Ed also provided me with all the detail regarding the rebate provided by Eversource for charger installation and helped me submit the rebate. Highly recommend West Electric for any Electric needs.

I ran into Bob Stern when I did not even own a home. I thought 'there is a guy I would like to do business with'. He is straightforward, honest and a strong communicator. He introduced me to West Electric because, as he said, it is the solar company that has fantastic integrity.

After having a huge solar panel system put on my house, I can completely agree. They were fast, courteous and on time. When I had a question about the software not responding, the owner showed up at my house to help out.

I had West Electric install a FranklinWH aGate and three 15 kWh aPower units. A crew led by Chris and Drew showed up at 7 AM and worked a long day to get everything installed. They showed great attention to detail, and above and beyond by removing some old unused equipment. The installation look neat, clean, and well organized. By the end of the day, the system was up and running, including integration with solar and backup generator. Thanks guys.

West Electric LLC and Katelyn Axten added an additional solar system onto my home because i started to use more power. There was no out of pocket cost. I’ve replaced my insane Eversource electric bill with a nearly non existent solar bill which is locked in. They even took down a tree for me. The electricians took extra time to keep all of the inverter and equitment on the side of my home. Katelyn is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would recommend her and West Electric to anyone. Excellent service. I purchased a brand new Ford F150 lightning. Included with the truck was a free EV charger installation handled by a national firm out of California.
They selected West Electric to do the installation. The experience was great. I had a Zoom call with their manager to review the installation, installation date was set up. Technician showed up on time and installed the charger in less than a half a day.
I’m very pleased with their work.

I am very please with West Electric. Ashley and Katelyn are very professional. They were able to install on my unique metal roof where no other solar company could get this approved. They were able to help with my trees to open better solar production. The panels look great and the installation crew were experienced, very courteous and clean. I would like to personally thank everyone at West Electric for getting this completed for me. I have an all electric house and I am saving so much money by going solar.
