Efrain was driving erratically at 9AM. Efrain proceeded to exit his vehicle shouting and using slurs. Mgmt was contacted and simply stated “we will talk to him”. Efrain proudly shouting his name and pointing at his company shirt wasn't surprising and seemed acceptable to management. Will never use Sam’s again

I have talked with Sam and his daughter on several occasions in recent years. I did not find or see the nursery until I had been in Greenwich over 30 years. How can one not know of or not visited this iconic, family-owned Greenwich business? Sam is delightful and his staff are warm, eager to help, and Knowledgeable. When you're on North Street, just stop in and browse. Or look up their classes for folks with a passion for gardening, including kids.

Zero stars. We had our Border Collie, a legitimate ESA in a harness that clearly started that he's service animal on the leash with us and were asked to leave by an employee because " we have our own dogs on premises". My parents just moved from
Manhattan to Greenwich and were looking for a landscaping company - they are obviously going to take their business somewhere else.
What kind of business tells people to leave because their own dogs are hanging out on the property during business hours?

Stopped in to find an amazing something to bring home to my family when driving in and they had it wrapped and ready!!! I believe it was a form of lime tree!! Amazing place. Amazing service and people. Love Greenwich CT! One of the best places in the world!

I am never disappointed in their inventory. I am always able to find that extraordinary plant that the big box stores or even small nurseries don't have. The staff are polite and very helpful. Be ready to spend your money there you won't be disappointed.

Very nice place! Greenwich Reindeer were disappointing. The reindeer were beautiful and well cared for but there wasn't much of a Christmas display. Rather anti climatic. Sam Bridge is such an outstanding operation we expected more

This summer I hired Sam Bridge to rebuild my lawn. Ty Carsto from the Landscaping design department was a tremendous help to us. Because of the crazy town regulations, he had to redesign my lawn several times. His design is very practical. He listens to my needs, and he knows the plants very well. Ty never pushed me or tried to sell me anything. I can clearly tell that he designed my yard the way he would design for his own house. Once we agreed on the design, he was able to screeze in my project into their crazy summer calendar. He brought the crew to the field, explained everything in detail with them, and worked with them side by side. He was flexible to make changes on the fly. Because of my irrigation system setup, a big patch turned to yellow a month later. He returned and fixed it with no charge. It was such a pleasant experience to work with Ty, his crew and Sam Bridge. They are very professional. It was such a peaceful mind for me.

Every year for the last 10 years I buy my tree at Sam Bridge. I know they’re twice the price of anywhere else but their trees are always super fresh and they deliver the same day. They set up the tree for you too. It’s so easy. This year they had a “deer festival”, so the parking was insane. The place was packed as I’ve never seen it before. I always buy the same size tree. This year the trees were about 25% more expensive than last year, and they said they couldn’t deliver for another 3 days. I asked them to cut the bottom of the tree (this keeps it fresh) and put the stand on, and I took it with me. When I set it up at home and watered it, it was clear that the bottom had not been cut. Normally I have to water the tree 3 or 4 times a day during the 1st week. I filled the stand with water and the tree has absorbed almost no water in the last 24 hours. I’m so annoyed. I paid 25% more for a smaller tree that wasn’t even fresh. I won’t be going back next year!!

Requested a design consultant visit for $150 to design & replace front plantings. No.response in 5 days so we went to another nursery. The have an excellent selection of shrubs and flowers for spring planting. A touch more expensive than Home depot but the plants are in excellent condition. There is always an experienced salesperson available to answer any questions.

A nursery that has grown without focusing on customer service. I have been going to Sambridge nursery for past few years and made a significant purchase in spring of 2022 for several thousand dollars. Some trees turned out to be of poor quality and I was initially lucky to have a helpful executive help resolve the issue quickly. I also bought a lemon tree which turned out to be an orange tree. Initially I kept being bounced between different people who can handle the situation, and finally was directed to Kamil Jablonowski. She does not bother to respond to emails or phone calls, and after reaching out to her repeatedly, she made all possible excuses to convince that it was indeed lemons. Finally after several months and having to share pictures of fruits on the tree and peeled, she agreed early 2023 that it was indeed an orange tree. Alas, that did not make her take any action and again after reaching out several times, she offered to exchange the tree. The attitude was that she was doing a favor, so after the highly disappointing and frustrating experience, we decided to buy a new tree from a different nursery. When asked to refund the amount as it was rather expensive, she stopped responding to emails. This is unethical practice of Sambridge Nursery, and I would hope that our experience of Kamil Jablonowski is an anomaly and hopefully does not reflect the culture that exists there. Be careful before you make any purchase.

Wonderful neighborhood of old extremely large houses and basically farms, I believe the owners live on the property - excellent variety and layout, two or three greenhouses as well. Parking lot a little difficult to navigate, and store hours should be extended I believe from about 5:30 p.m. . But a great selection, beautiful flowers and small topiaries, good selection of peat moss potting soil and lawn soil...

Family owned garden center. A true hidden gem off north street in Greenwich set back off the road. Super knowledgeable staff they will go the extra mile. Great selection of seasonal plants, spring pansies to hand made and custom decorated wreaths.
A great deal of the plant material is grown on site to an above average standard, hard to find plants, unusual plant combos. The store is very organized and has a great layout. Easy to shop for any project large or small.

I've always appreciated the beautiful selection of flowers and plants at this location, but unfortunately, the service at the cash register has consistently been a letdown. Despite giving it several tries over the last few months, each visit has been met with rude and unhelpful responses from the cashiers. Initially, I thought perhaps someone was just having a bad day, but it seems to be the norm with all four cashiers I've interacted with. Good customer service is key, and it's disappointing to not receive that here. I'll be taking my business elsewhere where the atmosphere is as pleasant as the products.

There is just no other nursery or garden center like Sam Bridge. A family owned business, they take pride and joy in thier plants and services. The displays in the greenhouses are filled with a variety of the most colorful and thriving plants, and the selection is always top of the line. Everyone at the nursery is dedicated to customer service, and generous with thier time and knowledge. They have a great selection of seasonal plants, a full line of roses and perennials and hard to find specimen trees and shrubs. This is a top notch establishment and I depend on them for thier quality and expertise. Go! You will love it!

I blew out my back in December before getting a tree, and my wife went here after learning they offered delivery and the weren't one and done on tree deliveries from their farms. Incredible experience from the moment she walked in to the facility (on an insanely busy Saturday in early'ish December) to the time that Monday when they delivered the perfect tree to me in the stand in my living room. Everyone involved was super nice/professional from sales people to cashiers to delivery drivers. Our tree was still drinking lots of water and holding most of its needles in January when we took it to the curb. No Charlie Brown Christmas here. The battery powered LED lights and garland worked perfectly and were beautiful. If I could give 6 stars I would as these are retailers that still no how to do it. Thank you.

I need to start by saying I had such a good experience at Sam Bridge just browsing around and getting advice on some good additions to make to my backyard which was very helpful! Everybody I talked to was so helpful except a particular worker named Jose. I had to find out his name just to write this review because he was so rude and dismissive with me after asking a very simple question. He responded to me as if he had way more important things to be doing. In my 20 plus years of customer service this was among the poorest customer service I have ever seen. But all in all a great experience and I will definitely be coming back!!

If Willy Wonka owned a nursery this is where you would redeem your golden ticket for your tour.
