Very good tree company, very responsive, professional, came at short notice for emergency during the rain to remove tree from the roof, did absolutely excellent job! Will hire again.

Simply the best! Removed and exclusive tree between two properties, over power lines, around driveways, sidewalks, air condensers and on a busy street. Neighbors had only complements, and there was no disturbance to the property. All insurance was in place and they were happy to be working. The office was very helpful in working with neighbors and timely with paperwork.

Great company. They took down some huge trees (like 30" wide trunks), as well as some smaller ones, ground the stumps, left no trace. I had extensive root systems that could be seen above the ground, and all the roots are gone. Had a week's worth of work and they worked straight through without time gaps. Highly recommended.

Shady Tree did a weeks worth of work for us removing several large trees and shrubs at our property on Pecksland Road. They were priced competitively. And they were very responsive -- juggling the schedule around to accommodate our construction constraints. They also went out of their way to help us find other service providers for work that they didn't do. Highly recommend them.

Mynor Avila at Shady Tree was recommended by a nursery. He was extremely responsive and professional. We just completed our first project with Shady Tree, the project was started on the date agreed to and completed on a timely basis as quoted and the price was fair and it did not change from the original quote. Freddy the crew chief was easy to work with and anything that was expected per the quote was done without having to remind the crew. Most importantly the whole crew was appreciative of the opportunity to be of service. I would strongly recommend Shady Tree.

Our family has been using Shady Tree for our tree work for years. Joe D'Elia, the founder, was certainly a character and fun to work with. When he passed away last year, though, we were prepared to look for a new company to maintain our trees. Luckily, Joe's right-hand man, Mynor, contacted us and let us know that he was going to be running the business going forward. We decided to give him a try and we are definitely glad we did. Not only were Mynor and his crew prompt, neat and very talented, but they were also very fairly priced. I cannot recommend Mynor and Shady Tree enough. They are a full-service tree maintenance operation with all of the equipment and knowledge needed to keep your property looking great. I'm so happy with their work.

If only zero stars were an option. Michael Hulepka tree service was contracted by neighbor to trim the only two 50 + year old trees on my property that were also overhanging my neighbor's driveway. It is the neighbor's legal right to do so. However, the tree trimming was so extreme that it left 1 tree with only one branch having cut off over 8 other branches. Without a canopy to protect the tree, the bark is being sun scalded and the Cambiun layer is exposed, which is slowly killing the tree. As this is an old oak and there are only 2 trees on my property, the tree is priceless and someone who is supposed to be a trained arborist never should have caused this damage, especially cutting the leader branch that was not overhanging the property. This was a deliberate move to prevent the tree from further growth. Michael Hulepka's shoddy work has caused irreparable damage to it. I will be pursuing all legal means to compensate me for the damage done to my property.

We had a complex massive widow maker tulip tree at 45 degrees leaning on an oak from the storm. It’s twin was rotten to the core and made it more complex. Not many safe options. Couldn’t trust anyone else for this complexity. He brought integrity, precision, and professionalism to the job.

A large tree had fallen on our property after a windy storm. The tree was leaning on the roof/house and needed to be removed. Michael and his crew showed up in record time and were able to get the tree off the house and out of the yard. They did very clean work, and were easy to deal with.

Michael Helupka's tree service was very professional, reliable and prompt. They could handle small jobs and large ones from shrub planting and shearing to tree health, cutting and removal. I would recommend this company. Mike has always been polite and prompt.

Michael and his crew were all excellent and have high expectations. I question why there was a negative review stated earlier. Michael is responsive, very skilled, does very clean work with modern equipment, on schedule and budget. We've had a number arborists in the past, and Michael is the best. Fully insured too.

Michael Helupka has done a lot of work in our yard over the course of 15 years, which range from a total take down of a tall, dead pine tree, pruning the Magnolia tree, trimming arborvitaes and accessing other trees for possible exposure to disease etc. Him and his crew are knowledgable, professional, courteous and handle all (our property included) with proper safety standards. He's honest in his recommendations and Im very confident in his work and always pleased with the outcome. Mike also maintains numerous properties for a local builder I work for and he (the builder) claims Helupka is prompt, very reliable and professional as well.

I called Greenwich Tree Removal to take down a large tree in my backyard, and they were incredible. The team was professional, efficient, and cleaned up everything afterward. Highly recommend for anyone needing tree services!
